11/05/2025: Non fatevi ingannare dall’aspetto di un bar che sembra essersi fermato agli anni settanta. I titolari hanno volutamente mantenuto un aria démodé ma il locale è pulito e il personale veramente professionale. Mi sono fermato al mattino e ho fatto colazione con una brioche fresca che oramai è una rarità nei bar di Milano. Sono tornato all’aperitivo e ho bevuto un cocktail preparato benissimo e accompagnato da un banco pieno di stuzzichini di ogni genere. In entrambe le volte sono rimasto affascinato dalla varietà e dal numero di liquori di ogni genere tanto che dopo cena sono ritornato e continuo a farlo ogni dopo cena per bere un whisky o un distillato di pregio. Grandissimi!!

26/06/2025: I would say fantastic. The environment already does practically everything. Then also excellent service and food with proposals that, for us, thinking only of pizza, were a surprise but above all excellent. Then the courtyard, with the possible musical evenings, is a real jewel in the city. Last but not least a welcoming, dynamic and absolutely adequate bar and the general cleanliness really taken care of despite the influx of the place Definitely to try and replicate

07/06/2025: Suggestive place that you don't expect in the middle of the city. A menu with interesting ideas and attentive to seasonality, with something to review. Service a bit slow.

18/05/2025: Delicious, historic restaurant-pizzeria like you don't find in Milan anymore. Relaxing, without design trinkets, without false pretensions. Family-run, and the entire team is uniquely kind and friendly. Discreet and smiling. Choice of pizza base, also to take away, between classic, whole wheat and gluten-free, another rare gem - and which is not "overpriced" like in many other places. A certainty for almost ten years!

21/04/2025: After walking 1 hour so that a celiac person could eat, we found it closed. And they had sent us a confirmation email. Very badly.

05/04/2025: I have been ordering home delivery from Totò for years now and unfortunately since the management changed I have found that the legendary "cuoppo" is no longer what it used to be and appears to be partly frozen and burnt on the outside. Too bad but I'll have to order from others.

30/03/2025: First of all the place changed its name and management and left the old name on Just Eat, deceiving former customers. Dramatically lower quality than the previous management. Paid 11.50 for a Pulcinella with stuffed crust, arrived without stuffed crust, without burrata and without pistachios. Called to get a refund and the promise to return the amount was not kept. Literally a scam. Indecent.

01/07/2025: I was deeply disappointed by the experience at this place. I had joined a group of friends who were already consuming for a few minutes, with the sole intention of saying hello and exchanging a few words, when the staff rudely ordered me to "order now or leave", without any consideration for the context. I understand the request for a drink, but the tone used and the total lack of flexibility were completely out of place. Added to this are the decidedly high prices, difficult to justify in light of such unwelcoming service. A short but unpleasant experience, which I have no reason to repeat or recommend.

05/06/2025: Upon my arrival, I politely asked if it was possible to wait for two friends before ordering. The staff initially sat me down, but then, after about ten minutes, rudely asked me to get up, mistakenly claiming that I had been sitting at the table for over half an hour. Since I had not personally chosen the place, I found myself forced to wait for another table to become free, and then consumed an aperitif of disappointing quality. The service took place in a neglected environment, with visibly dirty tables and armchairs, for a cost of 12 euros.

26/01/2025: A real trattoria, not a restaurant disguised as a fake trattoria; therefore a place where you willingly return for the family atmosphere and home cooking.

22/10/2024: I have had the pleasure of visiting Trattoria Speranza three times, and each time it has been a unique experience. The restaurant has an informal atmosphere, similar to that of a canteen, which makes it ideal for a quick and tasty lunch break. The interiors, very 80s, add a touch of nostalgia that makes the place even more charming. One of the strong points of the Trattoria is undoubtedly the owner, always very friendly and helpful, capable of putting customers at ease. The location near the Polytechnic University of Milan also makes it a convenient choice for students and workers in the area. If you are looking for a place to eat in a simple and tasty way, with a warm welcome, I recommend you stop by Trattoria Speranza!

27/04/2025: La sensazione è che non sia il loro mestiere. Vini al calice proposti nel menu e poi ti arrivano con in mano due bottiglie (mediocri entrambe) tra cui scegliere. Piatto di pesce con dosi ridicole e coperto da fette di limone, troppo cotto e stopposo e chip di pelle cotta il giorno prima e servita gelida. Chiedo dell'olio ed arriva una bottiglia mezza vuota, comprata alla Metro e di qualità modesta. I prezzi poi sono ridicolmente alti per la qualità, la presentazione ed il servizio assolutamente non adeguati. Credo che anche alla metà del prezzo sarebbe comunque eccessivo. Come possano essere sulla guida Michelin mi fa nascere tanti dubbi sul criterio di seleziobe della stessa.

13/03/2025: Cena perfetta. Menù particolare con piatti raffinati e ottimi abbinamenti di ingredienti. Location curatissima, molto elegante. Personale super gentile e disponibile durante tutta la cena.

03/04/2025: Ci ho cenato recentemente, attirato dalle buone recensioni e dalle promozioni su The Fork. Non mi sono trovato male ma non è un posto che consiglierei o in cui tornerei. Il cibo non è cattivo, anzi il pesce viene presentato bene ma il sapore rimane assolutamente nella media. Carina la location e gentile il personale di sala, ma veramente poco altro che mi abbia colpito.

28/03/2025: Locale davvero bello e accogliente, atmosfera calda e rilassante. I camerieri, oltre ad essere professionali e gentili, sono anche simpaticissimi e rendono la cena ancora più piacevole. Per quanto riguarda il cibo, tutto perfetto: sapori eccezionali, presentazione impeccabile e qualità al top. Non ho trovato alcun difetto, davvero complimenti! Tornerò sicuramente presto, consigliatissimo!

04/06/2025: A very bad "experience." The door was wide open, and just as we were about to enter, the waiter, who had seen us arrive perfectly well, closed the door in our face and stood there. I was accompanied by two young women, aged 18 and 25. It was almost humiliating.
