Incredible guys, their story and their preparation are beyond compare. It's completely worth it, if not more than you'll spend!
24/03/2026: We spent a truly enjoyable evening at Trattoria Contemporanea.
The cuisine is modern and elegant, yet very pleasant and natural, without ever being forced.
What we appreciated most was the "modular" menu: a smart and very contemporary choice that allows you to tailor your menu to your tastes and dietary needs.
It was perfect for us—I'm vegetarian and my husband isn't—and this flexibility is definitely appreciated, compared to the usual fixed menus that serve the whole table.
The location is also charming, tastefully curated.
Other positive and particularly appreciated notes: the bread trolley and the option to choose cheeses instead of the traditional dessert.

All the waiters are extremely kind and knowledgeable about the wines available on the shelves that adorn the restaurant's main hall (ask for a recommendation and you'll receive a lesson!). The food is excellent, and each dish perfectly serves one person. The tiramisu for dessert is the perfect ending to the meal. And before paying the bill, order an espresso to finish. On your way out, don't forget to greet your group with the traditional "Semm Cumasch!".

07/04/2026: High-quality dishes with carefully selected ingredients and cooked to perfection. The wine list is also excellent. Excellent service. The location is truly priceless. I've been there several times; yesterday, Easter lunch was meticulously prepared. I'll definitely be back; it never disappoints. Must try.
29/03/2026: Excellent experience. We went for dinner and chose the tasting menu. Everything was excellent, from the bread to the dishes and the service. I think the quality/price ratio is very good. Highly recommended.
We'll be back to eat à la carte!

04/04/2026: Beautiful spot. Honestly one of the most beautiful restaurants I’ve been to. Wish they had a bit more on the menu but the meat and cheese board was still nice.
02/04/2026: We were seated in the underground wine cellar stone walls, old barrels, candlelight. One of the most atmospheric dining rooms I’ve ever been in. The food matched the setting. Smoked salmon rose to start, then two pastas: spaghetti with caviar in a silky cream sauce, and paccheri in pistachio cream with cured meat. Both were outstanding. Dessert was a pistachio dome and the best tiramisu I’ve had in a long time. The two brothers running the front of house made the whole evening. Warm, genuine, no performance just real hospitality.
If you’re near Lake Como, ask to sit in the cellar. You won’t forget it.

The dishes are all special. Each dish is served with a special, different one from the other.
Everything is very good.
I'm curious what it looks like from the outside.
I only know the inside, which is truly beautiful. The day I was there, it was pouring with rain. But the evening was still a success!

What a pleasant surprise, everything was in order and beautifully decorated. You feel at home.

In specific, the lady with long hair (I presume the wife…) was rude and obnoxious. I suggest a total review in terms of her attitude, or a change in job…
Also, by now reading the other reviews, I see there is no real knowledge of customer service. Shame on you for answering the way you have.
