22/06/2025: Yesterday we had dinner at this restaurant, there were six of us and we had two platters with fried gnocchi, two seafood risottos, two seafood scialatielli, two pizzas, a spaghetti with clams and dessert. The spaghetti with clams was very salty so we sent it back, the platters of appetizers were very poor with few fried gnocchi. The most disappointing note: 1 L of wine on tap €16, an exaggerated price. Overall some dishes were good, but the final bill was too salty for the quality and quantity of the food we ate.

01/05/2025: Found the shop “by chance” via a Google search. I find the idea of ​​combining a place where you can have a coffee or a snack with a shop that sells "special" clothing for bikes very beautiful. I'm a "not very practiced" cyclist but I found lots of nice things to buy. The shop was about to close when I arrived, so I could only buy a coffee but I will definitely go back for something more substantial 😋

25/04/2025: Amazing experience! The owner was super friendly, she gave our kids some stickers which they liked. 🌷 the coffee tasted good. We got an ice latte, black coffee, and for desert a lemon custard pie it was definitely worth it. Totally recommend visiting. ✨

24/06/2025: It is a beer house with pizzas, giant hamburger sandwiches and a restaurant. Good choice of beer even if there are several types on the menu the brand is not mentioned.

08/06/2025: Large and comfortable outdoor garden for summer evenings; smaller but tidy and pleasant indoor space. Multiple varieties of beers, average price. Definitely good service, despite the many impeccable and kind seats. The cuisine in general leaves a bit to be desired, they could improve it (watch out for the grilled meat, it seemed reheated and not made at the moment). In light of this, the prices are above what the place offers.

13/06/2025: Excellent! My husband and I are New Yorkers, and we were very impressed with the tasting menu. Service was wonderful, there was a tasting selection of meat, seafood and vegetarian and they were flexible to switch dishes! The freshly made bread and chianina tartar were exceptional. Recommend!

15/07/2025: We spontaneously stopped here for lunch while hiking. The menu is very diverse, from meat and seafood to pasta and risotto. At lunch, you can also choose from the lunch menu. We enjoyed spaghetti, risotto ai gamberi, and vitello tonnato. They also served water and coffee for €14 per person. Unbeatable for such excellent quality. The staff is very friendly and efficient. We'll be back.

18/07/2025: We have just been there with our kids. Ice cream is ok, nothing really special. Small choice of bakery stuff. We would not go there again because of service. The lady , ice cream lady, like my 6 year old called her, is very unfriendly. She has not even smiled once while we were there. Please put more smile on your face and ice cream will taste 1000 tumes better

14/06/2025: Il Casottino is a rare gem, one of those places that enter your heart from the first moment. The atmosphere is warm, authentic, with a perfect balance between tradition and attention to detail. Each dish is an explosion of true, genuine, memorable flavors. The cuisine is simply extraordinary, with very fresh ingredients and a passion that can be felt in every bite. But what makes the experience complete is the impeccable service. A special mention goes without a doubt to the waitress who served us and accommodated all our countless requests (unfortunately I don't know her name): kind, smiling, attentive and helpful. I recommend “Il Casottino” with all my heart, we will definitely be back again and again.

08/06/2025: Simply wonderful. Delicious food in a cozy atmosphere. And then this view. You sit right on the beach and immediately feel like you are on vacation. Very friendly staff and a great menu. We found the sardines as a starter super tasty. The Florentine steak is also highly recommended! We will be back soon!

25/06/2025: Historic restaurant in the province of Como that offers traditional rustic dishes. I have been going to this restaurant for years, often for group dinners to taste typical dishes such as cossoeula (very good), pizzoccheri or game with polenta and I must say that I have seen it change a lot over the years. From a somewhat spartan restaurant it has increasingly become a "refined/characteristic" restaurant, in fact in addition to renovating the dining room it also offers evenings with Karaoke. I must say that it has still managed to maintain the tastes and flavors of the past even if it has increased the price list which for me is higher than it should be. It is a restaurant that I recommend for evenings with friends to spend a fun evening in front of typical dishes that are difficult to find, in such a large number of choices, in other restaurants.

05/06/2025: Todo fue perfecto. La comida era muy sabrosa, las porciones son enormes, bien decorado, gran aparcamiento, todo el mundo es muy amable y profesional. El ambiente también es muy agradable.

04/07/2025: Cenamos aquí esta noche y ¡nos encantó! Pedimos trucha ahumada que se derretía en la boca y tenía un sabor delicioso. Los ravioles de mantequilla y salvia estaban deliciosos, ¡la pizza incluso estaba buena! Mi marido pidió el filete y dijo que era el mejor que había probado en Italia. ¡Deberíamos haber reservado para poder conseguir un asiento con vistas!

02/07/2025: Hoy fue un día de navegar en ferry por el lago. Por la tarde tomé un ferry a Menaggio. Es una ciudad bonita y en mi caminata desde el embarcadero paré a tomar una cerveza en Dal Tato (la cerveza también venía con un acompañamiento de crutones de pan con ajo, ¡delicioso!). Luego continué hacia la ciudad para explorar, ya que quería cenar antes de regresar a Bellagio (donde me estoy hospedando), así que decidí regresar a Dal Tato. El camarero que me atendió antes me reconoció y me dijo: “¿otra cerveza?” Sonreí y pregunté si estaban sirviendo comida. Ellos eran. En lugar de sentarme en un pequeño patio al costado del camino donde me senté antes, me llevaron adentro a un hermoso comedor con vista al lago. Comí ravioles rellenos de queso bitto y bresaola, en mantequilla, con salvia y amaretto desmenuzado. Totalmente deliciosos y los recomiendo.
