15/08/2024: Per me il Nespolo del nonno è una garanzia ...garanzia di prodotti ottimi e a km0, la carne fantastica....garanzia di essere accolti come in famiglia. Luca, il proprietario, è sempre molto attento a tutto, professionale e preparato esattamente come tutto il personale...consiglio fortemente! Il Nespolo... è casa!

15/08/2024: Siamo stati al Nespolo in occasione del Ferragosto , ma è stata solo una conferma delle volte precedenti in cui abbiamo cenato in questo ristorante, A partire dall'accoglienza del Sig. Luca, che si preoccupa di metterti a tuo agio , sempre disponibile a soddisfare l'esigenza del cliente , al buon cibo in abbondanza ed al rapporto qualità/ prezzo ottimo , il pranzo di Ferragosto aveva un antipasto , primo , secondo e dolce con acqua e vino compresi , tutto molto buono , la carne si scioglieva in bocca , super tenera e sfiziosa nel sapore , nulla da togliere alle portare precedenti , super consigliate , ambiente familiare, tavoli in sala ed all'esterno, posteggio attiguo al ristorante , insomma confermo la buona qualità del cibo , super consigliato , ogni settimana su Facebook viene pubblicato il menù. Bravo Luca ed il suo staff.

14/08/2024: A small, cozy little wine shop whose owner also happens to be very good at making tasty, homestyle Italian classics. Ask her for a wine recommendation, we really liked her Pinot Nero (Noir) suggestion.

23/07/2024: The food was delicious. There were three of us and we ordered pizza, a salad and a burger. Unfortunately, the salad and the burger only came when the first person had almost finished eating the pizza, despite waiting 5 minutes to eat.

09/07/2024: Great pizza. Gluten free pizza. Friendly service, good food and plenty of parking space.

30/08/2024: A place to absolutely try, located at the top of Brunate, right near the lighthouse, it is one of the historic activities of Como and its surroundings. It offers typical foods such as pizzoccheri and obviously various types of polenta. The prices are affordable and the portions are very generous. I liked the flavors even if I found a little too much oil for my tastes in the polenta uncia, however I recommend the one with truffle. Very friendly service, nice outdoor tables. Parking right in front of the venue.

28/08/2024: after a long time I had the opportunity to try Polenteria di Brunate, taking advantage of the presence of two friends from Abruzzo I took the opportunity to let them taste the local cuisine and it was a wonderful experience, all very good, pizzoccheri starters and polenta uncia with Bitto sausage and molten casera, spectacular, compliments to the chef and the very kind, helpful and knowledgeable staff, the house wine is also very good. we will definitely be back

02/08/2024: Excellent family pizza, very good and digestible multigrain dough!

01/08/2024: We have booked the pizzas for 8pm, I'm leaving at 8.20pm with the pizzas. What's the point of accepting a reservation at this point if you don't respect it? You might as well let them know when you call that due to the many orders between the dining room and takeaway they are unable to respect the order times so you show up at the pizzeria first. Terrible customer service.

23/08/2024: We went for lunch, great food, clean environment…. Personally I didn't like the service: (I'll start by saying that it can be subjective) the waiters don't give you time to finish your bite, they already take your plate away (in my opinion it's rude) and then they stand there watching you when you eat.

22/08/2024: Excellent restaurant...friendly staff and very good food...nice and very refined atmosphere.

07/08/2024: We waited at the entrance for a while and no one came to meet us. The manager walked past us without taking us into account. So we introduced ourselves to one of the waitresses who kindly found us a table. Fast but tense service, the manager shouting at his employees in full service, good atmosphere... That said, the pizza was pretty decent, but the Gnocchi, a real disaster, acidic tomato sauce that was similar to canned sauce.. . Too bad for an Italian restaurant. In short, if you have the courage, look for another restaurant.

28/08/2024: To summarize why was the experience, the service and the food (at least stakes) are bad in Comocafè/"ComoDiarrhea": Service: - The service was rather poor as wrong side dishes were delivered - Water bottles just put onto the table without opening nor serving - The table light was carelessly put onto the table without turning it on after it got darker. - It was unclear what waiter takes care of our table as for every served plateor order taken another person came by - Plates were removed while some at the table were still eating... Food - The quality of the food is low average - The menue is rather big and which brings up the question how fresh the dishes are... - medium rare meet was well done and medium was rather done too well. If the place calls itself a steakhouse I would expect more proficiency for meat. - 2 out of 3 people got diarrhea after visiting the place. - rather pricey for the food Location: - The location is close to the lake, yet it is not with a nice view and directly besides a rather busy street - the table was fine and the napkins and the setting is pretty - the olive oil bottle was smeary and not cleaned - the table lamps are nice yet not turned on by the service personnel nor were they clean but rather stained Overall not recommendable and more effort for the customer is a must for this place!

24/07/2024: We were last in Como in 2023 and ate here three times and it was brilliant every day, nice waiters, very good food. Now, after two years, we were on holiday in Como again and went out to eat twice again. The sweet dog is two years older and the food and service were excellent again. Insider tip for eating in a really great Italian flair, the waiters were also well dressed with shirts and bow ties, we'll be back, we've now eaten almost everything on the menu (except pizza, which isn't our thing but everything else was super tasty). Thank you for this great culinary experience.

21/08/2024: Mindful of many beautiful dinners at the Moltrasina Cooperative when the old management was there, I took my colleagues from Milan to lunch last March. Unfortunately the experience was not pleasant. Long times to take the order. Menage oil has a color and flavor that cannot be EVO oil. Frozen bread, it is not possible in an Italian restaurant not to have fresh bread. Starter for three people: 4 slices of bresaola (not the best quality), 4 slices of raw meat, 4 slices of lard, 4 fried gnocchi, no decoration or pickle for a total of €48.00. Plate of good pizzoccheri. The open kitchen is spectacular but it allowed me to see the chef open the fridge, take a bag of rocket, take a handful, put it on the plate that was served to me for €5.00. Bindi dessert. For the wine we ask for a particular vintage, it doesn't exist, another is proposed and in the end yet another arrives. I believe that we should pay more attention to the quality of the product and the service than to the food cost. What a disappointment to see the few remaining historic restaurants lose their authenticity and convert everything for the use and consumption of mass tourism with minimal effort to obtain maximum profit. It seems like a tourist trap to me.

03/09/2024: superb terrace location on the edge of the lake. The dishes are good and fresh, we ate there twice, the friendly service and the cocktails are good :)

03/09/2024: The least tiramisu in history, if you don't have many taste buds it is a place with very beautiful views
