11/07/2025: A seat on the terrace and fast service! The pizza was very good! Thin pie and the pesto was very tasty. The spritz was very fresh and there was a good amount.

10/07/2025: I visited Café Cuomo and had a very unpleasant experience with the staff. After drinking, I asked to use the restroom and the waitress rudely told me I couldn't use it because I hadn't consumed enough. I thought it was absurd and completely out of place, especially considering I'd already consumed. The way she told me this was very rude, as if I were doing something wrong.

11/06/2025: We had a very good meal here. The fish was fantastic. So were the calamari fritti and the meat grill. The fried potatoes are also delicious. There's a large pizza bread for each table. It's worth factoring in. We could have skipped the fries. The portions are generous, and the price is fair.

15/06/2025: It's actually a well-kept bar with an outdoor area, a delicious lunch menu, and lots of treats to go with coffee or aperitifs.

09/06/2025: A very friendly place with warm and welcoming staff. We went there several times to buy sandwiches (panini). These are made right in front of you according to your choices, with high-quality local products, all for a very affordable price. The breakfast (latte machiatto, croissant) is also very good and always at a great price. A multitude of choices are available, whether for pastries, charcuterie, cheese, or delicatessen. Thank you for your welcome, we highly recommend this place.

07/07/2025: I don't understand the negative reviews here at all. The menu, the quality, the service, and the ambiance have been excellent for years. We were there the last few days - despite the restaurant being completely full both inside and out, we got everything very quickly, the food was great, and despite the large number of guests and the heat, everyone was friendly! For me, the best restaurant in Porlezza! Thank you :-)

18/06/2025: We went to this place to try the tiramisu, having read a review that described it as the best in the area. As we entered, we noticed other people reading the menu and then going in — so did we. There was no one at the entrance to show us a table or invite us to sit down. We chose a table and, knowing what we wanted to order, we told the waitress in English that we were ready to order. She made a strange face and simply walked away. Soon after, a waiter came and told us that we had to leave and wait outside until someone seated us, even though we had already asked if the table was free and he had said yes. However, he insisted that we still had to leave and wait. If we were already seated, we don’t understand what the problem was with serving us. It was an unpleasant experience and we left. We may never know how good that tiramisu really was…

01/05/2025: Tried it as a restaurant I will definitely try it as a hotel sooner or later. Friendly and precise service, it is certainly not suitable for a quick meal, but the taste is worth the wait. Traditional Lombard/Como dishes that are truly good and have a decidedly authentic taste. More than affordable bill. Very nice location.

22/04/2025: Very simple Hotel, but still respecting local form and tradition. The rooms were generally clean, the furniture amd everything you interacted withwas impeccable and everything worked fine. Only the corners and hard to reach places were a bit dusty. I would visit again.

11/05/2025: Pensavo di trovare una varietà di piatti più ampi , invece sono rimasta un po’ delusa , nel complesso però si è mangiato bene, ma niente di eccezionale che mi faccia dire ci torneremo presto ,devo fare un annotazione il pane non fresco di giornata un po’ raffermo . 25/06/2025: Today we were at this restaurant for the first time and we opted for the "Menu of the Day" formula: at a cost of €17.50 per person, the menu includes a first course, a second course with side dish, service charge, water and 1/4 of wine. I had the meat dishes: Tortiglioni Sausage and broccoli and Saltimbocca alla romana with mashed potatoes; NonZio had the fish dishes: Farfalle with seafood ragù and Roasted octopus with spinach. We were both happy with the dishes they served us: they were well cooked and tasty. The bread basket was good and also included a small olive roll and a whole wheat one with sesame seeds. The warm focaccia with oil and oregano, offered as an entrée, was very welcome. Since the Menu of the Day formula also included wine, I chose a sparkling white, which was very pleasant (NonZio instead only had water because he had to drive...). To close the lunch, an inevitable macchiato coffee for both of us, which is not included in the menu, but is charged only 1 euro (while everywhere else now it costs 1.50 if not 2 euros). The only flaw we found, the very very slow service (or perhaps disorganized): as soon as we sat down as a couple they came to ask for the order but without having brought us the menu, once we had the menu we waited more than a quarter of an hour to order. After the first course (which arrived very slowly) we waited almost half an hour before the second course arrived, so much so that we were no longer even very hungry... Fortunately we were not in a hurry, but we entered at 12.45 and left at past 2... I hope it's a coincidence, because it's a nice place and the staff is numerous, but perhaps today it was a little disorganized. We will return to try other menus and also the pizza and hope to be able to correct the evaluation of the service. A question: can anyone tell me what the mega robot outside means?
