13/07/2026: I was pleasantly surprised by this trattoria. The location is not the best, but it's curated and you can see they made it as cozy as possible. The food spans between typical lake dishes and mountain ones, so we tried both and we were not disappointed. The lady who served us was very attentive and caring without being overbearing. She gave us good recommendations, came to check at every course if everything was alright and for the rest gave us space to enjoy the food. I would definitely recommend it!

06/04/2026: Great place not too far from Lake Como. The staff is nice and helpful. The apartment is good and has all the basic things. The breakfast was great, especially I loved the croissant and coffee. The place has a pleasant Italian vibe, which was perfect for our trip :)

06/07/2026: Far too expensive for what's on the plate. The €10 Coke is really overpriced. The €35 grilled swordfish was a ridiculously small portion, with a few slices of barely grilled or burnt potato swimming in a pool of tasteless oil, topped with a spoonful of overly salty tapenade. The food was nothing to write home about! Friendly staff, and the location is about 100 meters from the ferry dock.

28/06/2026: Truly a beautiful place! The food is fabulous, and the dishes are plentiful and truly made with care and passion! I've been twice already, and we tried the tuna tartare, the mixed fried fish, the fregola with squid ink, and the fresh seafood pasta, and it was all excellent! The staff makes you feel at home and is very friendly! I've found a great place close to home to go whenever I want to eat proper seafood! The pizzas also really inspire me.

I get to the cash register, order two appetizers and two pizzoccheri, and the waitress charges us 40 euros for the appetizer when it was actually half the price. Just as stated on the menu. I had the same problem with the same waitress exactly 2 years ago! Only then I noticed it in the parking lot, and this time, unfortunately, at home. But whatever, it's fine. We'll go elsewhere.

07/07/2026: Very authentically Italian, even though there were many tourists like us. The pizza was fantastic, the house wine was good, and the antipasti and salumi were typical of Lake Como. We paid €44 for two people – excellent value for money.

19/05/2026: We spent two nights about ten days ago at this hotel and thoroughly enjoyed it. Perched right on the lake, its location is ideal. The room we were given wasn't quite right, but for a small extra charge, we were given another. It was large, clean, well-equipped, and perfect, with a view of the lake. Just a hundred meters from the dock where you can take a boat trip around the lake, stopping at various ports of call, you eventually reach Bellagio, a charming little town. In short, I highly recommend this hotel. I should add that the owner, a Frenchman, was welcoming and friendly.

The dishes we chose didn't match those in the reviews, specifically the octopus and fried fish, but we understand that places remain the same and the chefs change. The requirement to order two fried dishes is also incomprehensible... it's a rule that applies to risottos, but I've never experienced this with other dishes. Furthermore, the fried food tasted very fried, and the batter flavor prevailed. The wine list is nothing exceptional... Our negative review doesn't apply to the service, which was very professional.

I should point out that this wasn't my first time at Locanda dei Giurati: I'd been there before, and that's precisely why I chose to return, expecting a certain level of organization and customer service. On Saturday, May 16th, I had made a reservation for dinner and showed up promptly at the agreed-upon time. When I arrived, I found a long line of people waiting. I introduced myself to the receptionist, mentioning that I had a reservation, but was simply told to wait. After about 10 minutes, I asked for information again and the response was rather rude, pointing out that there were a lot of people waiting. I then pointed out that my reservation had been made about 20 minutes before, but was told, again rudely, that "it wasn't their fault" and that they couldn't turn away customers who had arrived early and were already seated. Frankly, I was astonished. I understand that it can be busy on a Saturday night, but if you accept reservations, you expect a minimum level of organization and, above all, courtesy toward the customer. This is especially true when it comes to a customer who already knows the place and has chosen to return. I wonder: in a location like this, with a high-end menu and prices, do they manage two sittings for dinner? And if so, are the customers clearly informed when they make their reservation? Showing up on time and still being left waiting without a clear explanation is unacceptable. After waiting a bit longer, given the situation and, above all, the way I was treated, I decided to leave and dine elsewhere. The most unpleasant thing, even more than the wait, was the lack of courtesy. Unexpected events can happen, but courtesy, respect, and clarity toward the customer should never be lacking.

30/05/2026: A super restaurant for meat lovers!! Delicious food, great service, and a wonderful selection of wines to pair with the meat. We celebrated Christmas with friends, and everyone was delighted.
