29/10/2025: I came here alone because I wanted to enjoy my birthday surrounded by nature, seeking good vibes and a chance to reconnect with myself. I wanted to pamper myself with a delicious lunch, and... I couldn't have come across a better place. I had a donkey stew that melted in my mouth, perfectly cooked and with a very harmonious flavor; maybe because there were only a few of us, but I was treated wonderfully, with great attention to my intolerances, among other things 🥳✌️✌️✌️ (important, for those who know 😉). They explained the menu to me and are very careful about the ingredients, with a trusted butcher. These details matter to me, and I'll have to come back to try the rest. The welcoming atmosphere made me feel at home. 🙏⭐️ Happy Birthday!! 😇⭐️ Now I'm going for a walk 😚

04/11/2025: This review covers the hotel and restaurant. As for the hotel, everything was great. They were very accommodating with many of our special requests. The view and staff are fantastic. I can only say I recommend it. As for the restaurants, we tried many of the options there and everything was delicious, so I can recommend it as well.

20/10/2025: A terrible experience. I'm reluctant to leave a review like that, but I don't like being made fun of. More than an hour's wait for a pizza in a room with less than 10 people. After a couple of requests, a further wait, and an unexpected mockery from a waitress who was probably new to the experience, a prepackaged and raw pizza arrived. We got up and left, paying only for drinks and a cover charge. (And it really takes a lot for me to do something like that.) Maybe this will help the restaurant manager understand that they can definitely do better. Luckily, a little further on, we found a decent restaurant.

13/11/2025: Opening Hours: Tuesday to Sunday Admission: Free Villa Olmo boasts a prime location in the heart of Como, offering convenient access. If you're staying in the city center, it's a 20-25 minute walk from the train station along the scenic lakeside path. Along the way, you'll pass the Aviation Club, where you can witness spectacular seaplane takeoffs. If you prefer not to walk, you can take a bus from the town center to the villa. If you're driving, there is paid parking available nearby. Alternatively, if you're coming from elsewhere on Lake Como, you can take a ferry to the Como Ferry Terminal and then reach the villa by bus or a short walk.

08/11/2025: We’re not sure what the building itself looks like, since it was covered in scaffolding and protective netting, but the location is amazing.

09/08/2025: Ice cream tasting, purchase of the "Resta". Friendly staff, a gentleman explained the history of the Resta to me, I bought a few pieces to give as gifts when I returned. I recommend you go there.

29/07/2025: Let's not kid ourselves....Luisita Gelato Shop #1 in Como for at least 50 years...The best gelato in Como. In the stracciatella you'll find blocks of chocolate...raw ingredients of the highest quality...Undisputed masters of meringues and fresh whipped cream, etc...etc...etc...etc...

20/11/2025: We recently discovered a corner of Sicily in Grandate. The croissants are good (other more renowned places use the frozen ones). The overall cleanliness is good. The summer veranda could be closed off so it can be used in the winter as well; there's not much seating inside. If you need breakfast, it's best to arrive early or you risk not finding a table. I have to point out that the service is sometimes a bit slow. Overall, the breakfast was decent.

21/11/2025: To be honest, this is a very good establishment, but in the summer there is a huge influx of tourists, which is why they can't keep up with all the orders. Otherwise, all the dishes are always fresh. The prices here can be higher than in other eateries, but that's because they use high-quality products and there are no sloppy cuts. The staff is polite and always ready to offer help if something is wrong. The atmosphere is quite good, they recently installed a radio, so it's become a little more fun here.

30/10/2025: Good local spot with authentic Atmosphäre. It was completely full when I visited, so it’s clearly a popular place among locals. I had some delicious seafood and really enjoyed my meal.

05/09/2025: Sublime pizza al taglio.. the only flaw is that the dough is so light and good that I have to eat two 😁

02/12/2025: We were visiting the town the last weekend of November and stumbled upon this place while looking for something to eat, and it was a great find. The food was delicious, and the service was excellent and fast. Then, when it came time to pay, we saw they had Panettone, and the owner took us to the side where they have their pastry shop, which has been around for many years. They invited us to try the Panettone, which was amazing, and we bought some pastries (of course!) haha.

30/11/2025: Cozy place, very good product and excellent service! Considering where we were, the quality-price was good, the portions were sometimes generous. The gentleman (we assume he was the owner) is very friendly! He also showed us their own pastry shop, and we were impressed, very cool and they have a variety of sweets to choose from (we took an artisanal Panetone and it was delicious!)

30/10/2025: We had dinner there. The pizzas were okay, unfortunately with canned mushrooms. The pasta didn't look appetizing and it wasn't. The house wine was sour and had dead flies floating in it. We complained, but it was still on the bill. On top of that, there was a €2.50 service charge per person. Definitely not recommended.

02/05/2025: Poche note perché di più non serve. Ristarante elegante sul lungolago. Cibo molto buono e presentato benissimo. Spettacolare il polpo su crema di zucca. Buona scelta di vini al calice. Il nostro era molto buono. Servizio attento ed anche una piccola svista si è trasformata in una occasione per fare una battuta divertente. Prezzi medi come si conviene ad un posto di qualità. Da consigliare.

14/08/2025: It was quite an adventure to get there, but I highly recommend this typical restaurant with its breathtaking views of the valley! We trusted the owner wholeheartedly.

12/12/2025: Truly excellent pizza, thin, crispy, and topped with top-quality ingredients. The desserts are also delicious. The lady in charge of service is super friendly.
