31/03/2026: A pleasant atmosphere, not too noisy even though it was crowded (March 28, Saturday evening). The service was a bit inattentive, even though we were 2 meters from the counter; I had to wave my arms several times to get attention. But the extremely negative review is about the quality of the pizza and the price. They call themselves gourmet pizza, but the name alone doesn't convey the quality. To begin with, I wouldn't call them pizzas, but focaccias: tall, soft (nothing to complain about), but nothing like the classic Neapolitan pizza with its high, elastic crust and thinner, crispier base. It's the restaurant's gastronomic choice, but call it what it is: focaccia, not pizza, so as not to confuse the customer, as it did for us (a comment at our table was "I thought I was coming for pizza, not bread!"). Our choices were: 1 "Margherita" pizza and 2 "Saporita" pizzas, whole pizzas already served in slices (the menu also offers 4 slices). The menu (with "suggestive" descriptions) listed Paglione peeled tomatoes for the Margherita, which, however, resembled a very concentrated tomato sauce (you can clearly see this from the photos online). The mozzarella only barely covered the slice. The same goes for the Saporita, where you couldn't tell the difference between fiordilatte and buffalo mozzarella at all. Pesto powder and dried capers were not included (they may have been there, but their presence was not noticeable). All this for a price of €15 for the Margherita and €29 for the Saporita (each, not both!!!) We ordered the Saporita because we initially asked if they had the Napoli pizza (anchovies and capers). The person taking our order suggested the Saporita, and we confirmed (without consulting the menu: our mistake). The icing on the cake: the bill also included a €3 cover charge per person (which, incidentally, wasn't on the menu. Don't tell me it was to cover one of those flaky twisted breadsticks on the table!) Only positive notes: a 66cl Menabrea bottle of beer for €4.50, and for dessert, an excellent cannoncino for €1.50. In Brescia and its province, there are pizzerias with award-winning pizza chefs and gourmet pizzas (pizzas...) with quality dough, leavening, and toppings (clearly noticeable) at significantly lower prices. The place was full, so their offerings are clearly appreciated. Personally, I have a different perception of the quality/price ratio. To each their own. Choices. I wanted to review it simply to give my perspective to those who want to make an informed choice. (That evening, we had chosen another pizzeria in the area, but it was full, so we settled on Fondaco, a place we'd heard about.) It was certainly an experience, but, as we all know, experience is priceless.

07/04/2026: We had a very pleasant experience at the FARO Hotel. We particularly appreciated the kindness of the staff, who worked hard to ensure a comfortable stay. The impeccable cleanliness of all areas of the hotel also contributed to a relaxing atmosphere. The services offered were top-notch, meeting all our expectations. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a wonderful vacation.

20/05/2026: May 20, 2026 Working Lunch Fixed-price menu €14 I think the management changed a few years ago. Bad, bad, even for a lunch break—let's call it a "workers'" lunch—the quality is poor. Needs a rethink.

22/05/2026: I was there last night with my family: if I order three piadinas and add the baby Nutella one, and there are three of us, it seems obvious that the sweet piadina should be made later...! But no, they made everything for me at once, and when it came time to eat the sweet one, it was clearly cold, so I got up and politely asked a not-so-polite redhead to at least warm it up a little. Let me just say that while I was waiting, I saw the same girl without gloves handing over a piadina. She scratched her head (in the meantime, a customer who had already picked up the piadinas pointed out that her drink hadn't been delivered, but she, even though it would have taken her two seconds because she had the fridge behind her, made her go back to the checkout line where the guy was already in a long line). Then she went back to the back and filled a cone with chips with the same hands. Needless to say, when he gave it to me, I threw it away because of the disgusting experience I had just witnessed.

03/05/2026: Given the beautiful day, my family and I decided to have lunch by the lake. We ordered Margherita pizzas and a salad. The first was packed with mozzarella, very "touristy," the second with olives still pitted. Well, we weren't entirely satisfied... the location was a saving grace.

16/03/2026: We tried this intimate little place near a friend's house, but the cuisine, which is supposed to be typical Sicilian, was quite disappointing...almost everyone in the group was disappointed. Unfortunately, despite our love for Sicily and its dishes, we were turned down.

07/02/2026: I happened upon this bar/restaurant today (on the outskirts of town) and found myself paying €5 for two cappuccinos at the counter: ABSURD, considering the price of a pizza is €6 (prices displayed are for pizzas only). My fault for not asking first; it's a shame I was ripped off; I'll never trust this place again...and I don't recommend it! Andrea

07/05/2026: Location: Central Closed: Sunday The bar offers outdoor seating. The interior is casual and clean. The staff is friendly, and they serve good coffee. I've had breakfast there twice, and I enjoyed the selection of pastries. See you soon!

12/05/2026: Very quick service, good pizza, although the selection isn't typical of a traditional pizzeria. The place is great for groups or families, although the space, in terms of tables and seating, is a bit cramped and uncomfortable. Overall, a pleasant experience. There's also a children's area.

01/03/2026: The place is nice, but the service and food are inadequate, especially given the excessive price for pre-cooked, reheated pasta and because for a salad they ask you to queue up with the tables to be served because they don't have a cook (spoiler alert: the salad, which they offer for €10, doesn't need to be cooked).
