10/12/2025: The food is good, but at 12:50 I can't order cooked side dishes from the buffet; out of 10 trays, only 2.5 are available. When I ask, I'm told it'll take at least 20 minutes for them to be cooked. Prices are average.

31/10/2025: We arrived for a business lunch at 12.10pm, the room was half full, yet we waited over 40 minutes for a first course, when the time came for the first course we had to accept what was ready because they still asked us for 15 minutes... I'm speechless

Del pesce non si sentiva più nulla. Tagliolini con triglie ( essiccate ?) sufficiente. Non non ci torniamo, e , come opinione personale , non ci siamo. Prezzo adeguato al resto per fortuna

30/04/2025: Da anni si vene a Clusane per mangiare la tinca ripiena tipica del lago d'Iseo, oggi siamo capitati "all'antica trattoria del gallo" e devo dire che la tradizione non viene modificata; tinca ripiena ottima con polenta e unto tipico. Eccezionale. Complimenti.

26/01/2026: I dined at this restaurant on Wednesday, January 21, 2026. There were four of us, and the experience was truly excellent. The service deserves special mention, especially thanks to a very young, red-haired man with a striking resemblance to Jannik Sinner. In addition to his kindness and helpfulness, I also had the pleasure of chatting with him: he proved to be knowledgeable, attentive, and incredibly professional. During our conversation, I discovered that he is also a working student, a detail that makes his dedication, maturity, and elegance in his dealings with customers even more admirable. He guided us through the menu, confidently recommending the dishes best suited to our tastes and also suggesting the perfect wine pairing—a truly spot-on result. Considering his young age, his vast experience and attention to every detail of the service, along with his natural elegance in his approach to customers, are striking. Service like this truly makes a difference and makes the evening memorable. younger like this.

23/11/2025: Good food but absolutely small portions, never again

23/11/2025: We went to a luncheon today, so the menu was already decided: 10 for the Prosecco risotto with thyme creamed with Taleggio cheese. The Casoncelli alla Bresciana were also very good. I forgot to mention the appetizers, which were made with fresh, quality cured meats. The snails were excellent, and the main course was the pork leg in a crust, which was very succulent and tender. The location was well-kept, clean, and welcoming. I highly recommend it and we will definitely be back. Thanks to the staff in the dining room and to the chef for preparing his delicacies for us.

01/11/2025: The Archangel is located in a deconsecrated church. It would be a beautiful setting if it were more carefully maintained. Working lunch with a buffet appetizer full of garlic that I couldn't digest all day. The meatloaf I ordered was simply awful: mushy, falling apart, and lacking any distinct flavor. I won't be returning.

25/09/2025: The treatment we received from the refuge manager was appalling. After warning us that we would be late for dinner due to an accident on the ring road that blocked the roads for four hours, we unfortunately arrived at midnight. The refuge had closed its doors, and obviously we were not given anything for dinner. We spent the night in the freezing winter bivouac. The next morning, they gave us four slices of toast for breakfast and that was it, and they even charged us as if we had slept in a refuge. This is the first time I've experienced such treatment in so many refuges I've visited. I strongly advise against staying here, even though the refuge and the surrounding area are very beautiful.

19/09/2025: This refuge, structured like a large cabin, has a cozy, family-friendly atmosphere. The staff and managers are kind and welcoming. The dinner and room are excellent! We'll definitely return, even if just for lunch!

07/11/2025: Everything was fine, but I found them very rude. I politely asked if they had a certain type of coffee, and I repeat, politely. How did they respond? Actually, they didn't even answer, since they attacked me with phrases like: "Be serious, go home," and things like that. I didn't feel comfortable, I laughed it off... but customers shouldn't be treated like that... if I had been rude, fine, they were right. But if I ask for something, I expect a respectful tone and not to be attacked like that randomly, just because they're older.

11/10/2025: Unfortunately, the rooms are in need of renovation. Otherwise, we had a pleasant stay. The service and breakfast were both very good.

01/09/2025: Fantastic location, room with balcony overlooking the lake. Beautiful garden. Large and clean room. Dated hotel in need of renovation, especially the decidedly "antique" windows and doors. The shower, with no sliding rail and curtain, could definitely use an overhaul. The on-site parking is very convenient.
