06/09/2025: Very easy one night stay. Bus was delayed but Monia was very accommodating with late check in. She also allowed me to leave my bags at the hotel while I explored the area the next day. I didn't have a lake view room but the outdoor patio was perfect to look over the lake and stargaze at night. Thank you

06/09/2025: Wonderful place, excellent food that changes daily. Every time we come here on the lake, my wife, and our Cokerina, we come often. Monia is very fast and kind, as is all the staff. The chef comes among the customers to make sure everything is fine. We highly recommend this place with its stunning view of the lake. Excellent prices and quality. 07/06/2025: I have to say it was excellent and magnificent, as soon as I parked it seemed like a farm but as soon as I entered it was like being inside a wedding, spectacular food, magnificent service but for the toilet and hygiene it is not very nice because the bathroom is full of cobwebs while on the chairs I found a mini scorpion but oh well it can happen

13/04/2025: Se siete alla ricerca di un’esperienza gastronomica raffinata, curata nei dettagli e con un perfetto equilibrio tra tradizione e modernità, Bottega 125 a Castelcovati è una tappa obbligata. Appena entrati, si viene accolti in un ambiente elegante e contemporaneo, dal design minimal eclettico dove ogni elemento – dall’illuminazione calda agli arredi curati – contribuisce a creare un’atmosfera accogliente e sofisticata. Il personale si è dimostrato preparato, attento e gentile, sempre presente ma mai invadente, pronto a spiegare ogni portata e a guidare nella scelta del vino. Un dettaglio che abbiamo apprezzato molto è stata la possibilità di assaggiare il vino prima che venisse servito, un gesto di premura che denota grande attenzione per il cliente. Il coperto includeva un’ottima entrée, pane fragrante e burro salato montato, già da soli un’ottima introduzione a ciò che sarebbe seguito. I piatti, semplicemente deliziosi: il salmone marinato era fresco, ben bilanciato con note agrumate e una presentazione impeccabile. Come piatto principale abbiamo ordinato una Fiorentina da dividere in due, tagliata davanti ai nostri occhi, tenera e succosa, cotta alla perfezione. E per concludere, un dessert sorprendente – crema catalana con gelato e crumble – che ha chiuso la cena in maniera impeccabile. Ogni portata è curata tanto nel gusto quanto nell’estetica, come dimostrano anche le foto. Il prezzo è medio-alto ma assolutamente adeguato alla qualità dell’esperienza: ingredienti selezionati, cucina creativa e servizio impeccabile rendono ogni euro ben speso. Bottega 125 è un ristorante che unisce gusto, eleganza e professionalità, perfetto per un’occasione speciale o per chi vuole semplicemente concedersi una coccola per il palato.

19/07/2025: Everythimg was good: relaxed yet stylish atmosphere, good music (not too loud), nice people, cool renewed osteria. And the food? Excellent, some classic dishes with super nice presentations, nice cooking/crafts, and wonderful tastes. Very nice wine list too. Skip the touristy water-front places, and get something entirely different here, at better prices.

19/07/2025: Great restaurant slightly further back from the promenade but with a charismatic head chef who is hands on and engaging with his diners. The food is excellent with a smart and relaxed feel to the restaurant. When the place gets busy, it feels like the staff get a little flustered so hopefully in peak season there is more support. Otherwise I can’t fault their help and insight to local wine and food recommendations.

22/07/2025: Wonderful location...excellent food...I recommend the pizza with the corn and seed base (spectacular). The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. I must say that it's always a pleasure to return. I absolutely recommend it.

11/07/2025: I recently visited this seafood restaurant and I must say it was a truly exceptional experience! The atmosphere is welcoming and meticulously maintained, the staff friendly and attentive, always ready to recommend the perfect dish or wine pairing. But the real star is undoubtedly the seafood: incredibly fresh, expertly cooked, and impeccably presented. I highly recommend it.

25/08/2025: A breathtaking view, a typical meal with family recipes served with a smile. This place has everything to seduce you. Be careful though: the road is narrow with many bumps, low cars are not recommended, lowered cars are strongly discouraged 😅

24/08/2025: The best place we've eaten in Italy so far. The service was top-notch; we felt right at home at dinner, and we were very warmly welcomed. The food was home-cooked, with a touch of tradition and local produce. I've never tasted such good Parmesan cheese in my life. The views were breathtaking. The only thing that made it very, very difficult was getting there. It requires a very determined and experienced driver and a taller car. The road is very narrow and very steep. We took a DR4, but it only worked on our second attempt. The first time, it couldn't get up there, so we had to back off and try again, driving at full speed and keeping our foot on the gas like there was no tomorrow! A 4x4 would probably make it much easier, but you can do it without one. Nevertheless, it's WORTH IT!

05/09/2025: Excellent hotel just outside the city center, very close to the public beach. They immediately upgraded my reservation to a lake view room, which is definitely worth it...fantastic. All this at no extra charge. The staff is very friendly...the room is large and, even though it faces the street, is well soundproofed. Convenient and free private parking. The following morning, the breakfast was exceptional, the most complete I've ever had. Congratulations and thank you.

18/07/2025: As Brazilians, we highly recommend Ristorante Via Brasil. The service is always friendly, the meat is excellent quality, and the cuts are well-prepared and tasty. The desserts are typically Brazilian, just like we're used to eating in Brazil—a real pleasure! We know many other Brazilians who come here often, and they're always satisfied. It's definitely worth it. The caipirinha is excellent, but a special mention goes to the passion fruit batida—perfect for a delicious end to dinner! Highly recommended! Obrigado! 🇧🇷

16/07/2025: I visited Gianico for the first time, accompanied by locals from Darfo Boario Terme. It's a wonderfully charming little village with a truly friendly atmosphere, which is authentically reflected in the Osteria di Bacco. Outstanding dishes, many of which are made with local produce, prepared and presented with loving attention to detail. Homemade. It was absolutely delicious, and the hosts were very warm and accommodating! Plus, there's a cozy atmosphere in the vaulted cellar, reminiscent of a grotto. I don't need to say anything about the wine—top quality! The dessert, varied and freshly prepared by the 87-year-old mother—is excellent! The prices—absolutely attractive! Many thanks to the hosts—please keep up the good work!
