21/10/2025: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We found Number One by chance while staying nearby during a weekend in Milan, and it ended up being one of the best parts of our trip. Our waiter Carlo made us feel like family from the start - genuine hospitality. We ended up coming back twice because of the food and atmosphere. First visit was lunch - we had the working menu (3 courses + coffee for €12 each). Really good quality for the price. Came back for dinner the next day and tried the carbonara and their "Number One" pasta, which is a fish pasta that was honestly excellent. Carlos kept bringing us extra bits on the house throughout both meals. The food is great, prices are fair, but it's really Carlo that make this place stand out!

21/09/2025: The following will be a serious and honest review. The other day, my friends and I were faced with the choice of where to go for lunch: we'd been wanting to try Art Club Food for a few months, so we decided to go. The location is quite convenient, just steps from the center and the lake, but there's no parking. The place functions like a real canteen, as it's all self-service, but the staff is present enough to serve the portions and take payment (you pay on the spot). We chose the €10 "menu," which included a first course, a second course, and a side dish (cover charge and drinks not included). That day, I had ravioli filled with polenta and tomato (I'd never heard of this combination, and unfortunately the waitress gave me very little tomato), a cutlet (it was dry), and potatoes with pesto and olives (the potatoes were rather cold and a bit tough). We also decided to have a dessert, and that day, among the options, there was an apple pie with chocolate chips (huge chips), and aesthetically, it appealed more than the others. The waitress told us we had to heat them in the oven (since they were in the refrigerated display case), which was essentially a microwave. The problem with this "oven" arose when we took our cakes out and they were still cold. I recommend replacing them. The cake wasn't great, but it didn't taste bad either; the only thing that upset the flavor were the chips, which were almost bitter. The final product was probably frozen, too, and for €4.50, it was definitely not worth it. We also used the bathroom, and what can I say? It seemed like a windowless bathroom, since the only available window was practically unopenable, which is why the smell was so strong and concentrated in the room. This wasn't the only problem with the bathroom, but the floor was very slippery, with a risk of falling, and given the predominantly over-50 clientele, it needs fixing. The atmosphere wasn't even pleasant, as the music was blaring loudly (not suitable for a place where you eat), so people tended to shout. Unfortunately, that day there were also children who kept jumping down the stairs, causing a nuisance. I don't think I'll return. It's best for those who are in a hurry and don't want to spend a lot, although I'd personally recommend a piadina.

04/10/2025: Tonight we returned after a long time. The place was very nice as always, but excessively expensive... a white capricciosa pizza (the change was to remove the ham and add salami) was €16.50. The icing on the cake was a plain chocolate cake without ice cream and various sauces for €12. We will NEVER return.

30/09/2025: I came to this restaurant and was greeted by two very friendly waiters!! Marco and Bruno were fantastic! Not to mention the food, everything was delicious and very fast ☺️

07/10/2025: We arrived at Al Fienile after several appointments at various locations where we were offered tried-and-true menus for our wedding. Stefano presented us with a few options and listened to our wishes, developing a menu that would meet our needs. Stefano organizes the menu trials a few weeks before the event to ensure he can provide quality ingredients and fresh produce. This timing initially raised some concerns, but we can absolutely confirm and reassure you that the quality of the food is exceptional and that Stefano will satisfy any request, even the most discerning palates. Stefano has many years of experience in both the kitchen and the dining room, making him a reliable supplier. We received compliments from our guests on most of the dishes offered. All the waiters were impeccable, always kind and available to answer any questions. The location is beautiful, with a large park available; it's perfect for outdoor photos as the garden is so well-kept.

12/10/2025: This is a great restaurant with an incredible location right next to the lake. The food is excellent and the lemon ravioli has deservedly been on the menu for 25 years. We had eaten here 15 years ago and were charmed by the friendly staff and great location; this visit was equally wonderful.

07/10/2025: We had an excellent experience at this restaurant. We went the day before to put a reservation in (you cannot walk in - you must have a reservation). Being right on the water is a great way to spend dinner. It was peaceful and a beautiful setting. The food was absolutely delicious and we enjoyed every bite. Definitely recommend getting to the restaurant if you are in Sala Comacina.

30/09/2025: Le Cigamole welcomes guests into a truly beautiful dining room, meticulously crafted with attention to detail and a warm, relaxing atmosphere that immediately puts you at ease. The cuisine is refined but not overdone: well-crafted, tasty dishes crafted with great attention to the finest ingredients. A particularly positive aspect is the frequent menu changes, always offering something new. The service is courteous and professional. A truly delightful place: highly recommended and definitely worth a visit!

15/10/2025: The food is excellent, not only for its cooking style but also for the quality of the ingredients. Every dish is delicious, and you leave feeling satisfied and full thanks to the generous portions. The desserts round out the experience perfectly. The staff is also quick and friendly. The restaurant opened recently, and unfortunately, it's not wheelchair accessible; that's the only downside. We hope this can be corrected soon, as this restaurant is truly worth a visit.

15/10/2025: I'm sorry, maybe we had an unlucky evening, but honestly, my partner and I were disappointed even though we'd been wanting to try this place for years. Our table was under the air conditioning, with the cold air blowing hard on our necks. I almost embarrassedly asked to be relocated (which was done halfway through the meal). The lady taking orders arrived after 30 minutes, and while we were ordering, she was chatting with other tables or the waitress without even looking at us. We ordered a Franciacorta, but it was sold out, and instead of offering us an alternative, she looked at us as if she were missing the train and we should have already planned a second wine (?!?!?). The Franciacorta we ordered arrived warm, and we had to ask for a cooler. Perhaps this precondition prevented me from enjoying the meal, which I didn't find exceptional at all (seven-course appetizers, seafood carbonara, and spaghetti allo scoglio), but honestly, I wouldn't return. I've worked in restaurants too, and I understand that you can't always do everything perfectly, and that with a full restaurant there can be some mix-ups, but it seemed a bit too much. Oh, and the final bill was €180.

28/07/2025: Impeccable service, sublime food, and, obviously, the price isn't for everyone, especially if you're interested in multiple courses. A place to return to, to find the perfect balance between location and quality food. Next time I'll try the veranda, perhaps in milder temperatures.

01/10/2025: Picanha Rare When you order a rare steak, it doesn't always turn out rare. In this case, however, the picanha, as you can see in the photo, was cooked perfectly. The gratinated fennel on the side was also very good. I was very curious about the meat in the fridge. It's definitely a good place to eat meat in the center of Sondrio.

04/11/2025: I celebrated a friend's birthday. I didn't know him, but I was satisfied with the restaurant and the food. I will return.

18/10/2025: The restaurant is beautifully presented, tastefully decorated with a warm and modern feel. The menu is extensive and varied, offering a wide selection, even for those who love large cuts of meat. There were eight of us, and we chose from a variety of starters, fried fish, meat, and wine. Everything was cooked to perfection and tasted excellent. The service was fast and punctual, very attentive to our needs and requests. The atmosphere was clean and relaxing. We'll definitely be back. Highly recommended.

02/10/2025: Excellent bar in Bergamo's upper town. They have excellent coffee and delicious draft beers. The service was very friendly and warm. I'll definitely return whenever I'm there.

15/08/2025: Campervan friends, stopping for lunch. Right in the heart of the Città Alta, Ol Baretì is a real gem! Warm welcome, fast service, and always with a smile 😄. Special thanks to the waitress for her thoughtful attention and excellent advice, which made our time even more enjoyable. We had an Aperol Spritz and a beer on the terrace, right in front of the fountain: a picturesque setting, perfect for enjoying the charm of Bergamo. The dishes are simple but excellent—special mention goes to the crispy pizzas, the generous pasta dishes, and the filet américain, which is worth the detour. A friendly place where you always want to return when passing through Bergamo. 🇮🇹🍷🍕🍹

26/10/2025: I had the unfortunate experience of watching the “server” physically attack a female customer- grab her feminine bits 🤮and yell at her in Italian with zero provocation. If you are a single female dropping by - be prepared- she may physically assault you and then try to intimidate you by saying she will call the cops on you - with zero provocation. Someone who is toxic to the extreme. PS: The 3 points you posted below - perfect example of gaslighting by abusers on the abused. Instead of apologising, you are perpetuating abuse against women (regardless of who is doing the act) - Shame on you for trying to lie your way out of what happened. There were multiple witnesses, not just me. Don’t try to intimidate people into giving you good reviews- treating humans as humans with respect and compassion is far more important than what your decoration looks like, and there are much better places to eat in Como than at yours.

04/10/2025: A Michelin-starred lunch, straight to the point: - exquisite food - courteous staff (from the reservation to the arrival to the final greeting) and above all, highly knowledgeable - extremely kind chef who welcomed a comment about a piece of cutlery (others would have calmly ignored me or told me to go to hell) - price in line with the raw materials and workmanship provided. Highly recommended
