The food captures the true flavors of Valtellina while adding a refined touch of sophistication that makes every dish special. The wine selection is unique and thoughtfully curated, perfectly complementing the menu, and the desserts are absolutely delicious. Every time we visit, there is a new plate off the menu that is simply impossible not to try. Marco, the owner, is a phenomenal host who makes every guest feel welcome and at home, and the service is remarkable from beginning to end. If you’re looking for authentic Valtellina cuisine elevated with creativity, elegance, and genuine hospitality, Ginger Bistrot is a place you simply cannot miss.

I went for lunch with my parents on Sunday. Beautiful restaurant in Santa Caterina. Careful mountain-style atmosphere. Excellent, attentive service. Superlative food. Delicious sciatt, stringy and not at all greasy. Delicious pizzoccheri, very cheesy. A special mention goes to the braulio creamed pasta as a fitting conclusion. Everything was excellent. We'll definitely be back when we go to Santa Caterina.

Location: 8/10 The restaurant's exterior already looks promising, and its location is excellent, close to a parking lot, making it easy to get to. Inside, you'll find a warm and welcoming atmosphere, a good mix of modernity and mountain style. Menu: 8/10 The menu isn't terribly extensive, but this adds to the fact that the dishes are all homemade and fresh. Off-menu items are occasionally offered. They offer both traditional Valtellina dishes and more modern dishes with unusual combinations, such as tartare with coffee oil or turnip stuffed with lentils and quinoa. Overall, the dishes are all very good, well-executed, and beautifully presented, both the traditional and modern ones. A special mention goes to the desserts, which are truly excellent, with delicate flavors and extraordinary pairings. Wide and refined wine selection. The staff offers excellent recommendations for the perfect wine for the evening. Service: 9/10 Excellent welcome, professional, kind, helpful, and friendly waiters. Bill: 7/10 The bill was generally in line with the service; perhaps the appetizers were a little pricey. In conclusion, we highly recommend this place; it's definitely the perfect place to find the right balance between Valtellina tradition and modernity. Thank you so much for the excellent dinner.
