26/06/2025: A real insider tip if you really want to eat well. If you're in Lugano and still want to eat well and affordably, you should definitely make the 25-minute drive. The staff unfortunately seems a bit overwhelmed, but they're very helpful. If we're in the area again, we'll definitely come back. Oh, and it's best to make a reservation if you want to sit outside!

23/06/2025: Absolutely recommended pizzeria! 🍕 The food was really good, prepared with care and fresh ingredients. The service was excellent: I want to give a big compliment to the two waitresses, who were not only very kind and professional, but also very nice. The environment is welcoming and pleasant. Excellent value for money. I will definitely be back!

28/05/2025: Leaving aside (and confirming) the ABSOLUTE goodness of the cream flavors, I really appreciated the possibility of ordering and paying for the ice cream from OUTSIDE the shop, via the interactive monitor, and receiving it, always outside, via a door/window. Very convenient and ideal for those who ride a BIKE and prefer, for whatever reason, never to leave it unattended. The ice cream maker and cashier staff were very kind, despite the photobombing attempt of the girl who served me the cone while I was taking the photo for this review... Obviously I'm joking! By then I had already taken the picture and I only noticed afterwards that, very nicely, she had posed. I haven't tasted the fruit flavors of this specific store (but I have tried others) but I think that their strong point is more the cream flavors, as for the fruit flavors I'm still fond of those of the well-known competitor from Veneto.

08/06/2025: Excellent food as always but we were impressed by the honesty and professionalism of the manager who met us outside to give us back some money that had been given inappropriately by mistake on the bill. What can I say? Always a return visit

25/05/2025: I went to the trattoria breve respiro with my family. I had a cold but despite that the infernal smell coming from the kitchen made me twist it. the cook had dirty and greasy hands. terrible restaurant. a neighbor at the table was very noisy especially with swearing.

25/06/2025: I had dinner at this restaurant with a friend who frequents it regularly. At the time of writing, the restaurant is closed for renovation. The restaurant has two rooms and I was told that there is also a cellar where you can eat in addition to wine. Historic restaurant, very beautiful, well furnished in a classic style. The restaurant is in a street with plenty of parking on the street. The staff is kind and knowledgeable about both the dishes and the wine The dishes are excellent, the fish is fresh and with an excellent choice of dishes. We ate the Catalan-style lobster prepared on the spot with different variations on the vegetables on the plate. The gnocchi with shrimp and the pumpkin cappellacci are delicious The prices are in line with the quality of the dishes and the type of restaurant Restaurant absolutely recommended

21/05/2025: Small, well-kept, very quiet place. It's nice. The owner is a real host, like few of us see nowadays: concrete, present, very kind. His wife is also very good, you can see that they put real passion into it. The food is always excellent. Good, well-kept, right portions. Every time you eat well, without smudges. The service is impeccable: attentive, fast, never intrusive. You really feel looked after. You can tell that it's a place made with head and heart. Highly recommended. A guarantee.

16/04/2025: Absolutely exceptional place! We had the most beautiful experience in there. It looks like a family business. The service was fantastic and very friendly. Food just out of this world. The best quality, the most amazing taste and speed of service just exceptional. Great prices for what you get as well. Definitely highly recommend this place! Its just one of those you have to visit. If you are a Truffle lover this place is for you, you will experience freshly shaved Truffle right in front of you - enjoy! :D

31/05/2025: I was alone and had a menu of 4 courses with the wine package. The wine pors were about 4cl and minimal - no way you could hold it in your class until the food arrived - it took 20-30min after the wine to get the food. So no pairing. You have to call to the restautant to get a table. I booked via Fork - and got turned from the door. Then I sent an email, no response but when called I got response and table. Food was very good and portions beautiful!

17/04/2025: If we could give more stars we would! We had the 4-course menu with wine accompaniment and loved the food, ambience and super nice service. We would love to come back.
