08/06/2025: We were invited to a wedding at a beautiful and luxurious villa. The only downside: the guests were split into four different rooms for dinner, so we didn't see much of the bride and groom... I can't comment on the rooms because we didn't stay there.

13/05/2025: Very nice place near Limone sul Garda, precisely in Tremosine. My partner and I looked for a restaurant in the hinterland and this one caught our attention given the good reviews. Indeed the reviews were true, we ate really well! The place is large and clean, it has both internal and external space. We took an appetizer to share consisting of polenta with lard and mushrooms, delicious! A first course each (I'll put a photo) and to avoid taking a second course because we didn't feel like it, we decided to take a portion of baked potatoes with rosemary, each, really excellent! To finish a dessert, also shared. From an economic point of view it is average. The only flaw is that the state road that takes you from the lake to the restaurant in a few minutes is currently closed, we discovered this at the last second and to get there we had to take a huge tour of about 30 minutes, reaching the top of the mountain and then going back down towards the restaurant, all this in complete darkness where the only light was the car headlights. However, apart from the experience of getting to and from this restaurant, everything was excellent, even the welcome from the staff. If it were to happen to me, I would go back, just hoping that the short road is open. In any case, I highly recommend it.

06/06/2025: Aparecimos en La Bottega simplemente porque estaba a poca distancia de donde estábamos alojados. Quizás porque estaba situado en una calle residencial a cierta distancia del centro de Sirmione, no teníamos grandes expectativas, pero fueron fácilmente superados. Para los no italianos, estas eran las mejores pizzas que habíamos comido. La textura de las bases era perfectamente consistente, mientras que las coberturas sabían mucho más frescas, el servicio de mesa era eficiente y amigable. El hombre que cuida el horno, que puede haber sido el propio Roberto, también fue muy amable cuando vinimos a pagar. En términos de relación calidad-precio, este fue fácilmente el mejor restaurante que utilizamos durante nuestra corta estancia.

13/05/2025: Discovered by chance and booked in a short time.. Already looking at the site we had the impression of a very beautiful place. It was a beautiful experience, very welcoming place, all the staff and environment that makes you feel at home. The dinner was excellent and they pampered us greatly. I consider it one of the best restaurants in the area. We will definitely be back. Everything super delicious but the superlative tiramisu must not be missed. Never tried anything better. Congratulations indeed and thank you!

26/05/2025: We were at this restaurant yesterday evening, today after lunch we returned to taste two desserts that we absolutely wanted to try before leaving for Milan. Each course is special and delicious. I think it is one of the best restaurants I have tried. From the typical cold cuts and cheeses of the valley to the very tasty first courses, from the delicious meat stick to the desserts that absolutely must be ordered! The rosemary panna cotta is incredible! The Luigia digestive is also delicious, which I regret not having bought in a bottle to take home. Maybe next time! The decor is also beautiful and the staff is very kind. Highly recommended!

Since our arrival, we have been welcomed with warmth and professionalism, in an environment that combines elegance and familiarity. The food was simply excellent: every dish, from the homemade pasta to the meat main courses, was prepared with high quality ingredients and presented with care. The atmosphere of the restaurant made the day even more special. The panoramic veranda offers a breathtaking view of the valley, creating a perfect setting for celebrating important family moments. Special thanks to all the staff for their attention to detail and willingness to satisfy our every need. They helped make this day a precious memory that we will carry in our hearts. We highly recommend Il Tagliere to anyone who wants to enjoy an authentic culinary experience in a welcoming and refined context. We can't wait to come back!💛🫶🏻

10/05/2025: Extremely professional staff, intimate venue with attention to detail, the only flaw: the price. There were 3 of us: a gin and tonic, a mojito, and a virgin mojito (= non-alcoholic mojito, I was asked how I wanted it since there were various flavors and I chose tropical, the result was a glass of tropical fruit JUICE. I had requested a zero coke but it wasn't available). The total: €15 each, which for drinks seems more than fair to me and in line with the place, but for a glass of juice with a ball of ice inside it seems excessive, or at least not consistent with the price of cocktails containing alcohol.

22/05/2025: The place is elegant and minimalist, with very particular spacious tables, with an intermediate shelf to place devices and single-armed wooden chairs with space underneath the seat to store bags. The open kitchen lets you glimpse the team at work. I tried a menu with seasonal products with the chef's historic dishes such as caramelized onions with Grana Padano ice cream or sea bass with D'O caviar. Almost all the dishes were well balanced, with clear flavors and careful presentations. Paired with an excellent selection of wines. A couple of dishes were not impressive, simple with seasonal vegetables, but without a starred flavor. The service was attentive and professional, without being invasive. The place is very well-kept, truly intimate, excellent for a romantic dinner. A high-level gastronomic experience, which I recommend to those looking for creative cuisine but rooted in Italian tradition. 

17/05/2025: It's no longer the original D'o. I don't understand why he still says he does pop cuisine. In any case, it was a remarkable and satisfying experience. Two Michelin stars absolutely deserved. Fantastic tasting menu and fantastic wine pairing.

24/05/2025: Sono stato al Poggio un sabato sera di maggio. Prenotato alle 21:30, appena arrivati siamo stati accolti e accompagnati al tavolo, senza tempi di attesa. Il locale è molto bello, ben arredato e pulito. Interni in legno, tavoli robusti e di qualità, bella l'idea di una tovaglietta per ogni cliente invece di una unica su tutto il tavolo. L'illuminazione ottima, presenti finestroni che affacciano sulle vigne e su Sondrio, non essendo giorno non abbiamo potuto ammirare il panorama più di un tot. Mi ha colpito la stanza tutta in legno, veramente caratteristica. Insomma, location bella, nulla da dire. Il menù è piuttosto vario, ben strutturato, indica gli allergeni e in alcuni casi anche il vino consigliato. Il servizio è veloce, il personale disponibile e anche simpatico (uno dei camerieri in particolare). Ho preso "Le delizie del Poggio", che contiene un assaggio di tutti gli altri antipasti, nulla che mi abbia colpito particolarmente. Mi sono spinto poi sui pizzoccheri della Valtellina, che non erano indicati sul menù ma trovandoli su uno dei due menù fissi disponibili li ho chiesti e me li hanno portati. Abbondanti ma anche in questo caso non sono rimasto colpito. Assaggiato anche l'orzetto, sono contento di non averlo preso perché avrei fatto fatica a finirlo, non sono un amante. Super consigliati gli gnocchetti ai mirtilli gratinati, quelli meritano. Buono anche lo tzigroiner, ma non così tanto e in quantità da giustificare il prezzo. Come vino abbiamo scelto il Vesper della Valtellina, merita veramente. Tirando le somme, bello il locale ma pochi piatti sono degni di nota. 45€ a testa.

21/05/2025: I have visited the place after I read the reviews but I had one of the worst experiences ever .. I ordered risotto with mushrooms, pasta, fries and seafood pizza .. the risotto was under cooked rice boiled in water (no flavor) , the pasta was very spicy could not eat , fries were obviously frozen not fresh and the pizza was also without flavor full of shells on top stick on the mozzarella.. so when you remove the shell the mozzarella go with it . Anyway was waste of money 💰 🤑

16/05/2025: We had a simple meal of pizza and salad that was promptly served with friendliness. Good value for money..and on the Friday night we were there, there were plenty of tables available. Convenient location to the Centrale stazione. Plenty of options to choose from.
