12/04/2026: Lunch for two during a day trip to Lecco and the waterfalls. They were very kind and understanding of our delay. My girlfriend ordered the full menu, and I ordered pizzoccheri (fabulous). Given the difference in choice, I would have waited longer, so they offered me a savory pie. Everything was delicious and, I must say, very reasonably priced! Highly recommended, also for the super-fast service.

21/03/2026: The pizza was outstanding, the staff very friendly. I'd gladly come back again. The host doesn't like hearing "Forza Milan," preferring "Forza Napoli" 😉 but "Benfica Sempre" is definitely a good choice.

30/03/2026: This is a great place to stop when exploring Tremosine. The food is fantastic, and the view towards the lake and Monte Baldo is equally stunning. I've only ever found the Insalatizza here; it's definitely worth trying. And sometimes you'll even meet travelers who've made the journey on some rather unusual vehicles.

10/04/2026: Osteria del Tempo Perso - Ronco Briantino: Where Time Stands Still (Thankfully) Ronco Briantino. A name that means nothing to those who live on highways and haste. Yet here, in this corner of Brianza where Silvio Berlusconi has chosen to build his empire and his villas, there's an osteria worthy of a secular pilgrimage. It's called Osteria del Tempo Perso. Small, bright, welcoming. No frills, no Instagram bait. Just substance. The staff is kind, courteous, with that perfect measure of discreet presence that only those with a proven track record possess. They don't harass you, they don't disappear. They're there when needed. I start with the Valcalepio and goat's cheese risotto. And here everything is clear. The risotto is superb—that's the only word I can use. Perfectly creamy without being heavy, the wine permeating every grain and the goat cheese providing that elegant, acidic note that balances everything. This isn't just any risotto. It's risotto. The one worth leaving Milan for and getting lost in the streets of Brianza. Second course: Milanese-style breaded scorpionfish with purée. Scorpionfish, a noble and under-exploited fish, treated with the respect it deserves. Crispy, golden breading encloses delicate, fragrant white flesh. The purée is enveloping, unpretentious but masterfully executed. I pair it with a glass of French Crémant. Elegant, fresh bubbles that cleanse the palate and complement without overpowering. The bread and breadsticks are excellent. The wine list is extensive and thoughtful, capable of satisfying both those seeking a fine bottle and those simply wanting a good glass. There's also a small outdoor space for mild days. Osteria del Tempo Perso is that place you return to, time and time again. Not out of surprise, but out of certainty. Because you know you'll find passion, professionalism, and that rare alchemy of flavor and hospitality that makes a meal a memorable experience. As Marco Bragato writes in Sfidati: "True luxury isn't in excess, but in attention to detail. It's in the unsolicited gesture, in the discreet presence, in the time someone dedicates to making you feel good."

20/02/2026: Nothing else is needed to describe how Il Moro has maintained the highest quality over all these years. From today's lunch, I'd just like to mention the patanegra with fried gnocco. It's hard to find, and then there's the excellent first course, also in terms of quantity. A superb setting with a fireplace lit in mid-February speaks volumes about the attention they pay to their customers.

30/11/2025: A simple yet authentic place, the names of the dishes on the menu are the owner's signature, and above all, his friendliness. The food is excellent, clearly Lombard cuisine, and the prices are reasonable, especially considering the quality. The wine list isn't extensive, but it's good without excessive markups. The coffee served with a moka pot is a real treat... definitely worth a try!
