03/02/2026: A typical osteria, or rather, a risotto restaurant. They really do make all sorts of dishes. Also available are ossobuco, shank, braised pork cheek, and more. All delicious. The only downside is the appetizer buffet, which is truly dismal. I'd only leave it for lunch when they have a workers' menu. Good value for money. Bottled wine is a bit pricey. Good service. Definitely worth a try.

You don't stumble upon Isola Dovarese by chance; it's a little gem nestled in the Po Valley waiting to be discovered, and La Crepa is part of it.

09/03/2026: I had dinner with two friends at this restaurant in Sirmione on Friday evening after it was recommended to us. I must say we really appreciated the quality of the food and the menu options, including the selection on the wine list. The restaurant is well-maintained and has a pleasant atmosphere without being too formal. Definitely recommended for a different experience at a place that offers excellent cuts of premium and non-premium meat. We'll definitely be back.

08/03/2026: Just one rule. A few dishes, perfectly executed, showcasing the excellent ingredients. The main ingredient is meat. Great variety, exceptional cuts, unquestionable quality. Everything rigorously cooked over wood-fired charcoal. Dream-worthy Florentine steak. Unforgettable grilled escarole. A very wide selection of wines. The waiters are also very knowledgeable about wine pairings. A discovery.

25/12/2025: WHAT A HUGE HAIRCOMB! Two of us had lunch, and we were lured in by the photos of the highly acclaimed Saddle of Roe Deer, thinking they were a minimum portion for two people: €27 per person with only potatoes on the side... it might have been okay looking at the photos, but the reality was quite different: 80-90g of meat PER PERSON for €27 comes to a price of €270 per kg... have you ever paid that much for a Florentine steak?! THIS IS MADNESS. And the potatoes were awful, too. It's a shame because the rest of the food was quite good, especially the taroz. By the end, my stomach was in knots. Otherwise, the prices are pretty average, and the service is excellent, except for the fact that they sat us down at the beginning and then forgot about us (that's the fault of the person who showed us to the table, who didn't tell anyone). For fairness and to respect the customer's wallet, I recommend including the price per 100g on the menu. We are not all rich and we earn our money hard.

23/12/2025: Beautiful place, with a truly welcoming, family atmosphere. We really appreciated that the menu includes both traditional valley dishes, beautifully prepared, and original dishes based on local ingredients. The wine list is nothing short of remarkable. Dining on the veranda overlooking the valley is particularly lovely.

08/03/2026: I chose this inn by chance and with great surprise. I booked by phone, asking if they accepted dogs and camper parking. It's a quaint place with a very respectable menu with that little something extra to satisfy every palate. Excellent, carefully prepared menus with daily or set menu options. A wide selection of appetizers, first courses, second courses, and desserts, all served by extremely kind staff (10+), and a quaint and always welcoming atmosphere. Thank you, we'll be back.

04/03/2026: For seafood lovers, a go-to place for years. A classic setting with truly comfortable tables and space between them for an excellent experience. The menu offers exclusively seafood. A decent selection of raw fish, appetizers, first courses (from €27 to €30), and second courses...desserts are €10 (cover charge €5!) The quality of the food is unquestionable, and the service is adequate for the location. The bread basket is good, and the wine list is well-stocked.

12/03/2026: Visited Ristorante Nuova Arena for dinner and had a very pleasant experience. It’s a classic Milanese neighbourhood restaurant with a relaxed, authentic atmosphere and a dining room full of locals. The menu focuses on traditional Italian dishes and the food felt honest and well executed, with generous portions and good flavour. Service was friendly and efficient despite the restaurant being quite busy. If you’re looking for a casual, traditional place for dinner in Milan rather than something trendy, this is a very solid choice.
