The service was exceptional — professional, discreet, and genuinely warm. Every detail was handled effortlessly, making the stay feel smooth and relaxing. The location is magical and very private, yet perfectly placed to enjoy Lake Como. Villa d’Este is not just a hotel, it’s an experience of true luxury and romance. Highly recommended.

05/02/2026: During the famous Monza Grand Prix, my partner and I randomly chose Rossini based on Google Maps, and we weren't disappointed. The restaurant was very friendly and welcoming, and the staff were very attentive despite us being tourists. It was also frequented by locals, which speaks volumes about the quality of the food. I ate the best pasta dish of my life there. Perfectly cooked eggplant pasta! I highly recommend this restaurant if you want to immerse yourself in the wonderful Italian culture. We'll be back as soon as possible! :)

After such an extraordinary culinary experience and impeccable service, I can 100% confirm that it was simply fantastic. 🤩 I had the mushroom tatlatelle and a wonderful dessert with yogurt cream and red berries. 13/10/2025: Small osteria above Gardone! Friendly welcome, nice table in the courtyard! Reservations required! Nice ambiance, but we missed some background music. Waiters were very sales-oriented, communication was sometimes difficult. Vitello tonnata was very good, and the main course, such as fish or steak, was top-notch! Best dessert I've ever had! A bit pricey, but top-notch!

24/01/2026: When the Menu Takes Center Stage I've been involved in the wedding world for years: I work with banquet catering for large events, I've worked for two well-established wedding planners in my region, and an event planner. Despite my professional involvement, nothing compares to the thrill of experiencing it firsthand: it's my brother's wedding, it's a unique event that can't be repeated. I want everything to be perfect for this special day. And that's where Carlito's comes in: a rustic trattoria that feels like home. Alex is friendly and helpful; he describes the menu and lets the words describe the dishes, immediately giving tangible taste sensations. On the day of the reception, I arrive early to set up. I meet the mother, friendly and helpful; together, we shape the room, mindful of the limited time. After the ceremony, the welcome remains familiar and sincere. And here comes the star: the menu. What is narrated becomes real flavor. Appetizers of cured meats and cheeses, torta fritta (fried gnocchi), and a giardiniera prepared by Alex were remarkable. First courses: Tortelli di Ricotta ed Erbetta, a thin pasta dish with a bold flavor; seconds are almost obligatory, with the sauce mopped up and mopped up. Next up is Risotto al Gotturno with Parmesan Fondue—you have to visit Alex to try it; there are no words to describe it. For the main course, a Veal Reale with a side of baked potatoes, which melts in your mouth. Fruit and desserts, including sbrisolona and cantucci, round off a memorable food and wine journey. Carlito's also offers rooms: I recommend taking advantage of them, because this gastronomic journey can only be accompanied by the excellent still and sparkling wines from the well-stocked cellar. At Alex's suggestion, we dined with an excellent Vigna Fracia Valtellina Superiore DOC Valgella, 2019 vintage. Finally, a special thanks to the very sweet and attentive Camilla, who looked after us so attentively, never letting our glasses go empty.

06/12/2025: A farmhouse nestled in the countryside just a few kilometers from the lake, offering excellent cuisine using local ingredients. They have set menus with a selection of appetizers that aren't the usual ones, but rather include tastings of their own products, from olive oil to vegetables from the garden. Excellent, recommended.
