19/08/2025: Very nice place, friendly and knowledgeable staff, a wide selection of meats, cooked to perfection, and an excellent wine list. We were pampered from start to finish. I can't recommend it enough, especially for meat lovers.

09/10/2025: When you arrive at Salvatore's Baita there is only one imperative thing you can do, eat like a king 👑 The place looks very nice, clean and well-kept as is the kitchen, comfortable chairs and spacious tables! Kind and knowledgeable staff! Excellent variety of dishes and always quality products! I fell in love with the beef and swordfish carpaccio 😋🍴 They literally melt in your mouth! The fried potato petals made by them are excellent! The owner Salvatore is a delightful person (don't eat him though) friendly and great company. If I could I would give 10 stars ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I highly recommend going there! Top Rating S&P A++

The innkeeper smiles, with a sincere voice, brings warmth more than a hearth, makes the table the truest banner. And those who approach, tired from lunch, find refreshment, joy, and spring: here bread and friendship never cease to love.

02/10/2025: Maybe we got the wrong one. The food was creative, but very salty, difficult to eat. The place has a great atmosphere, a beautiful location in a very pleasant town. Unfortunately, we didn't feel welcome; maybe the owner was having a bad day. It was a disappointing experience for us; after reading the reviews, we expected something different.

30/09/2025: We went in on a very rainy day, having quickly read the reviews and felt hungry. We had no expectations for it to be this good. We were very, very pleased. We were even more delighted to find that the owner was Turkish. We had gnocchi and pizza. They were delicious, and despite the crowds, the service was quick. After our meal, they let us have our coffees across the street, overlooking the rainbow. Thank you so much for everything.

19/10/2025: Discovered yesterday, I regret not having discovered it sooner! Excellent food, impeccably served by Samuele; The cod tartare was excellent, and the beef tartare was divine. It's a shame the food doesn't get seven stars! The wine was recommended by Flavio, the owner, with expertise and a detailed description of its characteristics. The space is small and intimate, with no risk of noisy or rude tables; I think it seats about twenty. The warm yellow walls, decorated with high-quality paintings, contribute to the relaxing atmosphere. Our table overlooked the kitchen: a masterpiece of cleanliness and efficiency. Last but not least, the place is pet-friendly; the dog accompanying us was greeted warmly and kindly and immediately given a bowl of water. The price is in line with the market. I recommend it.

19/07/2025: Wonderful! How can you find excellent service, friendliness, and food just a stone's throw from Milan? The small space also lends a peaceful atmosphere that's a pleasure to find. Satisfied.

30/09/2025: ^^update^^ After having a phone call and 2 texts from the owner since we have returned to the UK trying to get me to remove my review comments Iv now given it 1star not 2 !!! Called me a liar and apparently I was sitting in doors on the best table ? Pics tell another story Review - Our visit to the restaurant (not hotel) was quite an experience. Thunderstorms and heavy rain was forecast for the evening and all night so were a bit surprised when we were seated right next to the waters edge and not under a canopy as the clouds were already on us . Waited 10 mins for a menu although only a handful of people were there being seated (also on the outer edge) . Was finally asked if we wanted an aperitif and given the menus . The prices for food are very reasonable and range from €18-€30 which we thought was very good for the quality of food . However after asking for the wine list after ordering the food (wasn’t shown one before ) we were presented with an iPad that had about 15 red wines on it that ranged from €50 - €360 !! Wasn’t expecting to spend such an amount on a drink when the food wasn’t in that price bracket and neither did the hotel look it (3 stars) After basically telling him we didnt want any wine his whole attitude to us seemed to change and rest of the evening felt awkward. The actual young waiter who did serve us food etc and clear the tables was fantastic however . Chaos came when the heavens opened up and Everyone (about 6 tables in all) suddenly needed to be moved under shelter . Headless chickens came to mind as the “big chiefs” moved plates , cutlery etc around onto tables they had for some reason only 10 minutes before cleared off . Anyway to sum it up , very good food for price but expect to be ignored and treated differently by some staff if you are not spending €100 on a bottle of wine .
