A wonderful experience, especially to conclude our trip to Italy. We found the owner extremely kind and welcoming, making us feel immediately at ease. We chose the tasting menu, letting him guide us, and the wines were also carefully selected, perfectly paired with each dish. It was a wonderful opportunity to experience so many different flavors, with a truly amazing value. The cuisine is deeply rooted in the foundations of Italian tradition, yet at the same time displays great creativity, elegance, and refinement. Each dish was meticulously crafted, and the wines were truly excellent. The chef's dessert was a special treat: a delicate interpretation of sage panna cotta (or similar), which surprised us with its originality, balance, and sensitivity. A truly brilliant idea that left us with wonderful memories. Thank you so much for all the pleasant surprises and emotions you gave us. It was a special evening that we will cherish forever.

A pearl of Genoese gastronomy. We had a family Easter lunch, and I reserved the right time to return one evening to the small, charming outdoor area of ​​Creuza de Ma in Voltri. Raw ingredients are prepared with great simplicity and research, and the menu features traditional dishes revisited with great sensitivity. A pleasant discovery in the Ligurian restaurant scene, which is often a tourist trap with high prices and sub-par quality. However, La voglia matta impresses right from the start with the professional staff and warm welcome from the owner. Then there's the very interesting seafood menu, expertly crafted by the chef. The ingredients are top-quality, such as the breaded anchovies, beautifully prepared and elegantly presented. To explain the style: when we were hesitant about the anchovy crumble dessert (!!!), the owner brought us a complimentary sample. In the end, with a shared appetizer, two fresh fish main courses, a shared dessert, a glass of wine, two glasses of passito, cover charge, and bread (an excellent mixed basket), it cost about €35 per person—definitely very reasonable, and therefore highly recommended.
