23/06/2025: We had dinner this evening. The food is excellent, the portions are plentiful and the service is efficient and polite. Beautiful view overlooking the sea and convenient parking. When we are in the area again we will return.

21/06/2025: Good pizza dough and cheese focaccia maybe a little less than the latter. But the pizza chef is very good

27/06/2025: We stayed only one night and we had a great time. The location is strategic near the center and near the sea. The hotel is comfortable... The only small flaw is the air conditioning a bit dated and noisy. The breakfast is exceptional, varied and with very good homemade cakes

22/06/2025: Hotel located in the center of Arenzano and a stone's throw from the sea. The room was cozy and spacious, the breakfast varied and abundant, with a special mention for the homemade strudel. The owner was very kind and good company, and he entertained us with his very pleasant background music.

22/06/2025: Unfortunately we went to eat there by chance, a shame because the service is excellent, punctual, welcoming and attentive to the needs of the customer, I can't say the same for the rest of the food and the managers, very high price, small portions, certainly given the experience we will never return, it's a shame because in addition to being close to home I always brought a lot of people there, never mind there are plenty of trattorias and restaurants nearby that are attentive to the wishes of the customer, so look around before ending up here.

01/06/2025: Simple, welcoming, friendly, family-run environment. Local dishes to enjoy on the spot or take away. Generous portions, reasonable prices. Stuffed courgettes and onions, freshly baked farinata, potato and green bean pie, osada with roast potatoes, bruschetta and focaccia. All accompanied by a glass of medium draft beer and water for €25 per person. We really really enjoyed every dish. An experience to repeat.

24/04/2025: Ottimo tutto. Farinata super come sempre ed asado veramente molto buono. Una garanzia per una serata rilassata ed in compagnia.

18/07/2025: Premetto che è c ero già stato qualche anno fa e ricordavo location mozzafiato, cibo ottimo, servizio attento e puntuale, prezzo più alto della media ma considerati i punti precedenti lo avevo accettato di buon grado. A sto giro, con tanta onestà, non posso dare gli stessi giudizi. Location sempre mozzafiato ma la rumenta maleodorante all entrata del giardino faceva arrivare l olezzo fino ai tavoli. Materie prime di qualità, ma rispetto alle scorse esperienze i piatti erano un po' scarsi, miseri, cioè, attenzione, non si può dire che si abbia mangiato male, ma la sensazione waoh non la abbiamo mai avuta, fritture buone e asciutte ma si poteva fare di più (anche solo come presentazione, oppure ho letto che nel menù c erano le acciughe ripiene, e metticela una dai... ) Anche solo leggendo il menù sembra che rispetto al passato non ci sia stata alcuna ricerca per rinnovare, sperimentare, stupire e lasciare, appunto, i clienti senza parole....soprattutto da un gruppo di giovani mi aspetto questo. Invece sembra il menù di un ristorante vintage. Spero che la prendiate come stimolo a dare di più... Prezzo sempre alto come in passato ma questa volta l ho pagato meno volentieri.... Servizio premuroso e gentile. Pane di scarsa qualità (altra cosa per me inaccettabile). Vino metodo classico marchiato Lidó buono, calice di vino rosso di scarsa qualità. Forse, rispetto a prima, è diventato più per turisti e stranieri e quindi in questo caso va bene così...

27/06/2025: Maravilloso restaurante acogedor con una hermosa vista de la ladera y el océano. El personal es amable y servicial. Vaya, qué lugar. La comida era genial, teníamos un plato de queso para empezar y pasta di mare para el plato principal. El precio era un poco alto, pero el personal y la vista lo compensaron con creces. También fue muy divertido ver la manera italiana de estacionar, prepárate para mover tu cuidado en medio de la cena si estacionaste como un italiano (si el auto cabe, es un estacionamiento) 🙂

24/07/2025: Excellent pizza, even gluten-free, but beware, this place isn't certified, so they cook all the pizzas at once, which isn't good! Even though the gluten-free pizza was in an aluminum pan and covered on top, I had to ask them to put it in the oven on its own... So we didn't have any problems... otherwise, go elsewhere.

19/07/2025: Prenotato alle H20 chiedendo di avere il tavolo fuori. Arrivati con un po'di ritardo (colpa nostra quindi), il tavolo non c'era. Ho segnalato di aver chiesto un tavolo fuori e mi è stato risposto in maniera davvero sgarbata dal responsabile con la giustificazione della pioggia. Per fortuna si erano appena alzate altre persone e ci siamo accomodati. Per dieci minuti circa nessuno ci ha considerato, nemmeno per portare il menù. Alla fine ho chiamato il cameriere per dirgli direttamente cosa volevamo. Per una pizza e un calzone...40 minuti di attesa mentre altri clienti, arrivati mezz'ora dopo di noi, hanno ricevuto le pizze in pochi minuti e prima di noi. Nessuno, dai camerieri al responsabile, ci hanno mai chiesto se fosse andato tutto bene. Per fortuna, almeno, la pizza era buona. Una volta era meglio.

06/05/2025: Trattoria molto "spartana" con menu praticamente fisso, antipasto poi si può scegliere solo fra due primi due secondi e due dolci. Prezzo fisso a 30 €. Tutto buono e un pò "particolare" (tagliatelle al cacao con sugo di anatra, fritto misto composto da verdure e carne ecc).

21/06/2025: Conversation was very difficult, disturbed by some groups whose members, instead of speaking politely, shouted at the top of their lungs, disturbing us as if they were in a stadium and forcing us, along with our fellow diners, to raise our voices to hear each other even with those who were next to us. Why don't the owners take action to bring common sense to rude customers? It's not easy to sit at a table and peacefully enjoy a dish in the midst of revelry. For us it was a suffering, we couldn't converse among ourselves even if we were sitting next to each other, so much so that we preferred to have dinner quickly and go to another place for dessert. Of course, the owner cannot deny entry to rude people, but we think we can give him a piece of advice: put a sign on each table, with an invitation to diners to converse at a moderate volume so as not to disturb the meal of other customers; it's not new, because in several places they have been doing it for a long time and some have even written it on the menus. We won't be going back there again anyway.

30/06/2025: Where and what do you eat for lunch or dinner? A typical question for those who go on holiday away from home...... Finding ourselves in Genoa, Porto Antico area, I see these lights from afar that catch my attention, tables outside and large umbrellas to protect from the humidity. We approach and a boy welcomes us, but also a Lady (I later discover she is the owner), I ask both of them if, in addition to fish, they also did meat for my husband. They answer yes, yes. We sit down...... Friendliness, efficient service, requests fulfilled. WE ORDER...... I decide on a mussel soup and ask if they were fresh, since coming from the wonderful Sicily, I know fresh fish very well, and Mrs. Maria assures me that they are very fresh. I "mussel soup", my husband "trofie with Genoese pesto". What can I say, everything is VERY GOOD and VERY FRESH. Loving fish, I decide to take the "roasted prawns" my husband instead a salad. What can I say, excellent prawns, but the TOP thing was receiving them already shelled and with the signature "MARIA". Truly a beautiful thought, which makes you really love the desire to have lunch in these typical local trattorias, where simplicity, cordiality, availability, reign supreme. What can I say, we had a great dinner, excellent food, the owner very kind, GENOA a discovery, a beautiful discovery. We will return to visit you Mrs. Maria even for a simple plate of pasta, but at the same time, we await you in this wonderful land, called SICILY. ❤️

29/06/2025: The food here is genuinely amazing. We stopped by fairly late and the owner was so kind and accommodating- he even let me practice my minimal Italian! Everything is made by him! The wine was brilliant and I can’t stress this enough the food was even better. If you want to experience real hospitality and great food come here!!
