Great place! Amazing service and very tasty food!

Authentic Italian cuisine, just slightly not my style.

My wife and I arrived on Sunday afternoon, and everything was already closed. It was a scorching summer day, and there was no one around. But Marco, the manager, was simply fantastic: he opened the kitchen just for the two of us, without any fuss, with a smile. He prepared delicious dishes and even recommended another restaurant in Camogli for dinner. Kindness, hospitality, and excellent food: we immediately felt at home. Thank you so much, Marco, we'll definitely be back!

Sunday night, I ordered some tortellini but they came undercooked ( not al dente ) the filling was hard and almost cold , the description was saying pomegranate instead there was strawberry not a huge problem but I should have been informed. They tried to charge me the wine twice ( I want to believe it was a mistake ). Overall good atmosphere because of the location but I had higher expectations of the food for the money I paid.

We came here for an aperitivo and fell in love. Everything was perfect: from the food to the wine, to the welcome. You can feel the passion and care they put into their service. It's one of those places that makes you want to come back the next day! Compliments to the chef and the service!

We showed up after making an online reservation (you could also book later) for 9:15 pm and were told it was late and the kitchen was closed... they sat us down, apparently a little annoyed. The meat? Run out. The vegetables? Run out. We had a first course (excellent, to be honest) and a dessert (excellent too), two bottles of wine suggested by the owner without knowing the price. I repeat, everything was delicious, especially the fried sardines. However, €250 for 6 of us seemed really too much.

Rosso Rubino impressed us completely. The food was fantastic – fresh, authentic, and prepared with great care. On top of that, the value for money is excellent. For this quality and the generous portions, you really get a lot. But what made the evening truly special was the warm hospitality. From the very first moment, you feel welcome and genuinely appreciated – not insincere, but heartfelt.

The owner is very kind and friendly. The dishes are made with top-quality ingredients and the passionate care of someone who knows their craft. Congratulations!

A wonderful Easter in this brightly lit restaurant, enveloped by its barrel vaulted ceiling covered in light wood! And outside, the tables in the silence of the deserted Piazza Lavagna! Top-quality Genoese food, with hand-made pesto, the owner's prize-winning pride. Warm hospitality also from the chef, who, although not Ligurian, knows all the secrets of mandilli, brandacujun (probable etymologies provided), and the legendary cappon magro.
