09/02/2026: Historic restaurant in Masone. Sunday lunch. Welcoming atmosphere, perhaps a little noisy. Prompt and attentive service. Refined dishes, both meat and seafood. Extensive wine list. We'll be back.

16/01/2026: A well-kept and clean restaurant, with a 15 euro fixed menu (starter, main course, and side dish) with an excellent selection. The fish starter was among the best I've ever had. The waitress was very friendly. We'll be back.

14/03/2026: A wonderful restaurant on the seafront in the historic center of Rapallo, in a pleasant, calm atmosphere, amazing dishes in the Lishurian style, the most tender fish, fresh seafood, I highly recommend the pasta with shrimp in curry sauce, for dessert I recommend the chocolate brownie with vanilla ice cream and wild berry sauce

15/11/2025: Very good pizza, the skills of the bald pizza chef amazed me and I ate a pizza half whole wheat and half normal, with lots of stracciatella, recommended if you have strong stomachs because, not finding the bathroom, I had to keep my muscles not relaxed to avoid unpleasant odors, the service of Alessia Toosa and Andrea Toosa was very professional but no one told me the bathroom anyway.......

04/01/2026: Located in the lively Piazza delle Erbe, it has plenty of outdoor seating. The wine and cocktail list is good, and for just €1.50, they bring you a variety of tasty treats to pair with your drink. They're also happy to make a gluten-free dish with more or less the same ingredients as the traditional one. Friendly service.

07/03/2026: Beautiful!! Free appetizer, 2 first courses, 1 Florentine steak, 1 side dish, 2 desserts, 1 coffee, 2 soft drinks, and 1 water. €95. Honestly, the portions are generous, the service is very friendly, and the place is quaint. But let's talk about the pesto! Very good, even with a few whole pine nuts! The chips are homemade (not frozen). If you have the chance, go there; there's convenient parking. Well done, well done! I'll definitely be back!

25/01/2026: Time and time again they never disappoint. The steak is from cows that are at pasteur and inherently grass fed. Even on the busiest of days they are very kind and considerate . As I am gluten free and I couldn't indulge in the gnocchi fritto they brought me complementary large broad beans. It's a hidden treasure that is one of our all time favorites and so much so that I didn't even want to share on Google.

06/01/2026: I'm not used to being so generous with my reviews, but "Ortica" is the restaurant of my dreams: kind and attentive staff, a cutting-edge chef, excellent local ingredients, and a location with a fairytale view. Happy and satisfied, I'll definitely be back soon, even to celebrate my events.

31/12/2025: We visited this place on New Year's Eve, around 3 PM, literally fleeing the rudeness and lack of welcome we'd experienced in the historic establishment across from the Caffè delle Carrozze. We were therefore in a state of irritability and decidedly not the best, but the welcome here was immediately kind and attentive, even warm, I'd say. After describing the dishes of the day, the lady serving us suggested a few small changes to the menu that perfectly met our needs. Within minutes, our mood had completely changed and was further improved by delicious sandwiches, a generous salad, and glasses of Franciacorta Contadi Castaldi. The desserts to finish were also very good, and the bill was fair and reasonable. We therefore recommend this café both for its welcome and customer service, as well as for the quality of its offerings and professionalism!

18/11/2025: Simply fantastic, an old-school Italian breakfast, but vegan. A great selection of vegan brioche and cornetti, and all kinds of plant-based milk available. I've really missed this!

21/01/2026: Excellent beer and competitive prices. A great place to return to again and again. The only flaw, if it can be called a flaw, is the small tables and chairs inside, which aren't very spacious and make sitting comfortable.

12/10/2025: A lovely, quaint trattoria in San Fruttuoso. I had the mussels marinara (flavorful and tasty) and the grilled sea bream (tender and fresh). Considering the area, the price was more than fair. Recommended.

12/10/2025: Excellent experience, table in the garden, appetizer with delicious anchovies and equally good pesto lasagna.

19/02/2026: I got food poisoning but besides that everything was fine, they were super nice.
