11/07/2025: Excellent pizza restaurant, fast service, and a friendly waiter. Good prices. The only drawback is the cover charge, which could have been more reasonable than the prices of the meals.

02/07/2025: The restaurant is located in the corner of the street. The ambience inside is nice, cozy and warm. I think they are short of staffing since the restaurant was always full but apparently there are only 2 services. This leads to they cannot pay enough attention. We were waiting at the door for a while and for ordering and all. The staff speak mostly no English. There is no Wi-Fi; therefore we hardly can order since all the menu was written in Italian. The food is nice I would say. Except from the pasta with clamps; more than half of the clamps were closed and cannot be eaten Compare to the price, I would say the restaurant is good and worth the money. May consider to come back ;)

16/07/2025: You might think of a trattoria as a place to eat and feel good, with homemade food and generous portions... This trattoria was supposed to be a 5-star Michelin restaurant, with no menu, just a QR code. The menu was truly meager... Portions small enough for children, everything very salty. Inside, it was incredibly hot. No carafe wines, everything bottled, and everything was overpriced, in my opinion, for a trattoria. The waiter was a bit rude; he seemed to be bothering us, and he complained that we asked for different dishes; he wished we'd all asked for the same thing. In the end, we all left feeling very disappointed. Believe me, in an area like Sotto Ripa, you get the same dishes for half the price.

12/06/2025: Lively welcoming bar with shaded street side seating. Small but very busy, obviously has a great reputation with locals. We had a fabulous toasted club sandwich and cold beers and immediately got immersed in the daily life of the town!

15/05/2025: Friendly and easy-going owners! Mandatory lunch break! But a regular stop often for breakfast too. I personally go there because it's in the center and it's perfect for a quick but comfortable break. Greetings to the Piccolo staff

02/06/2025: Serata molto piacevole abbiamo preferito menù a base di pesce ed era tutto molto buono , specie il cappon magro , ombrina e linguine . Molto bene anche il servizio Consigliato !!!

02/06/2025: Location accogliente in complesso silenzioso. I posti a sedere fuori sono immersi in aroma di gelsomino. Servizio professionale e sorridente. Menù ricco da un gusto davvero delizioso e ricercato. Super consigliato

17/05/2025: Ordered a Charlotte cake with strawberries and chantilly that did not look and taste fresh. Savoiardi around were not compact but deformed, I kept it in the fridge for 4 hours after delivery and both the strawberries and creams were still frozen and did not taste good. Maybe old from the freezer. Not recommended.

06/07/2025: I was here with friends....typical Ligurian trattoria in the hinterland very close to the splendid church of S. Siro di Struppa...I took a good fish menu even if I was hoping for something more certainly to return to try the typical Ligurian dishes however for the quality / price ratio to be reviewed Better to book because the place is not very big, fast service and attentive and kind staff.

08/06/2025: Cosy place. Great food. We liked the vongole orecchiette , seafood salad, lobster catalana and the vegetables. Excellent and attentive service. We will go back for their famous " crudo".

11/07/2025: Excellence. Small and welcoming place, very well-maintained, very clean. Delicious food and quality ingredients. IMPECCABLE service, courtesy, elegance, and helpfulness are the hallmarks. Medium-low prices and the option to pay with a fork. A wonderful experience (despite our high standards), definitely worth repeating. In the photos: First course of sea bass ravioli split in two, tuna steak, stockfish with a side of potatoes and tomatoes, and desserts (pannacotta and traditional Sacripantina cake).

29/06/2025: Poor selection!! I chose the restaurant based on the pictures posted, by chance they don't have such dishes anymore, Maybe it was years ago. There is no menu card in the picture. The staff was nice and polite.

29/06/2025: A pizza with friends on June 9, 2025, hoping for the best because some acquaintances had a bad time the previous weekend. I have been going there for years with great satisfaction. Recently, however, something has changed: the waitresses have changed but they are ok. The new pizza chef is a disaster: my devil pizza had no taste at all, but above all it arrived half an hour after the others at my table. In the meantime, I could see that he was having a problem with the staff, he was burning the pizzas and was accumulating delays. He was throwing the material badly and it was unbearable to watch. I hope they change again, so I can return.

05/07/2025: Pessimo servizio, dopo 45 minuti di ritardo abbiamo chiamato la pizzeria per capire dove fosse finito l’ordine. Il ragazzo si è scusato, offrendoci una lattina in omaggio e ci ha assicurato che l’ordine era appena uscito dal forno e che in 5 minuti sarebbe arrivato a casa. Abbiamo aspettato altri 30 minuti. Le pizze sono arrivate con più di un ora e un quarto di ritardo. Il nostro unico errore è stato quello di pagare in anticipo con la carta.

12/06/2025: A stone's throw from Sestri train station. Excellent pizzas with quality ingredients. The craft beer is also very good. Recommended.

30/06/2025: The restaurant is very particular especially for the method to reach the restaurant via a bridge over a river, the pizza is very good. a negative note for the sultry heat of the restaurant and the long wait, 45 minutes, for the pizza to arrive

23/06/2025: We had dinner this evening. The food is excellent, the portions are plentiful and the service is efficient and polite. Beautiful view overlooking the sea and convenient parking. When we are in the area again we will return.
