24/09/2025: Pleasant in the evening despite the lack of view due to the fact that it was dark, the dishes are good. However, there was a long wait between courses, we left before dessert because of the wait in the cold even though we were the last table. The knives were not suitable for shellfish, you had to attack with your fingers but there were no finger bowls.

22/01/2026: Discovered by chance while passing through Masone at lunchtime. Excellent service, and the lady was very friendly. The ravioli are spectacular, as is everything else. When we travel, we always plan to be in Masone at lunchtime and stop here. Highly recommended.
11/12/2025: Try to book and get there quickly.... Starting next week it will be closed for a while to reopen in March. I'm from Genoa, I love food, and I can assure you that the minestrone I ate was spectacular. A panna cotta covered in an almost moving zabaglione sauce. The panna cotta was delicious even without the cream..... It means that even a simple dessert that you can find in any restaurant, if it's quality, can remain in your memory. .....And the coffee too.....yes, even the coffee!!!!!!!!!!

24/02/2026: It was the first time I had dinner at the Mediterraneo, I have always been there for after dinner and I must say that I was pleasantly surprised both by the service because the guys are all super nice and kind, fast service, we had two salmon tartares with wakame and stracciatella, a mixed fried fish and an octopus tentacle (nice and large) on a very good mashed potato cake, a nice bottle of white wine, desserts and coffee, absolutely normal price for eating fish and being a place with music and entertainment during dinner and after dinner. We will definitely be back to have a nice table as soon as it is possible. Thank you ❤️

07/03/2026: Very fresh fish and unusual dishes with very pleasant combinations... discovered today by chance and were very pleased... the service was also friendly, even though, as motorcyclists, we were late, but they welcomed us anyway. The bill isn't cheap, but the quality/price ratio is fair. Recommended
24/02/2026: I found this restaurant by chance near the train station while traveling through Savona. A friend and I had lunch there, featuring a spectacular, elegant and delicious pasta dish with clams. The wine was excellent, and the dessert was delicious. The owner and staff were friendly and courteous, even though we arrived just before the kitchen closed.

08/03/2026: Definitely worth returning to. Informal atmosphere, a true "old-fashioned" trattoria, very kind and helpful staff, a very good and generous traditional Ligurian "meat" menu, excellent quality house red and white wine... very crowded, but on Sunday lunchtime everyone wants a seat 😉
01/02/2026: If you want a fake restaurant with designer products that can make a good impression... don't come here. Here you'll find TRUE local quality, without mentioning that the salami is made here and the coppa is made there... the pasta is handmade by one person or another, and above all, the crostini with chestnut flour for the lard... or the wholemeal bread... are made with flour from the mill of... (You can tell they weren't bought at the supermarket). If you add that all the staff are excellent at helping you with every need throughout the meal and the price is more than fair... I'd say it's worth coming and trying... even if I don't think my advice is needed... Great... highly recommended, 8 stars from me.

03/01/2026: We had an unforgettable evening. The setting is truly enchanting. The wine selection is excellent. Each dish was beautifully presented, and I personally recommend the risotto. The choice of main courses is also overwhelming; each one is worth trying! The desserts are delicious. The staff is kind and professional. We will definitely be back. We highly recommend it.
01/01/2026: First of all, Happy New Year. When you enter certain places, expectations are high, sometimes due to the "reviews." I'll get to the point: the location and restaurant are beautiful, the welcome and the professional table setting are excellent, and so far so good. Let's talk about the menu shown in the photo, at €95 excluding wine and drinks. It's the last dinner of 2025 that you want to enjoy with your partner. Upon reading, the menu, destined to remind us of a memorable evening, is certainly quite harmonious, with unusual pairings that immediately set my taste buds on edge. We chose a very popular white wine from Vulture, and so far so good. To begin, a greeting from the kitchen: "leek and whitebait tart," which in my opinion was a little unbalanced, followed by an excellent tartare with a good seasoning. I appreciated the crunch of the toasted hazelnuts, which, given the good execution, gives us hope for a prelude of flavors. Here begins the flat ECG, without a jolt to listen to with our palates. You'd understand the disappointment—mine, my companion's, and some of the other diners at the nearby table—if you'd tried it yourself. The scallop and Jerusalem artichoke were flat in flavor, and the scallop was actually thinly sliced. The pancetta looked good, but didn't taste good. It lacked structure; a shame, the idea was good, the execution was terrible. The cuttlefish with minted beans tasted good, but it was a shame the dish was cold, and the sauce was consequently too cold. The squid was sparse; I only had one piece with 10 beans. First course, very engaging to read, but little in substance "Fregola with turnip tops (only the chlorophyll), clams, scrambled oysters and Roman conciato. A very disappointing macrobiotic preparation, the strong, concentrated flavour of the turnip tops cancelled everything out. Here too, the idea was good, but the execution was terrible and flat. Even the cod, now the prince of the seas, was downgraded and hidden under an indistinguishable blanket of combinations" mashed potatoes and cream of cauliflower "bad execution (in my opinion, obviously). Last but not least, the phantom tasting of cotechino and auspicious lentils. Nothing to do with tradition, not to mention the risk of the hollandaise sauce which negatively distorted the simplicity of the cotechino's flavour. Well, I won't go any further. Sometimes we should follow proverbs, for example "He who wants too much, ends up with nothing" and I conclude by saying that cooking is the taste and art of the Soul. Experimenting is fine, but tasting is essential. Happy New Year!
