15/06/2025: Jane Restaurant – Loano ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ In the heart of the streets of Loano, between the colorful shutters of the Ligurian houses and the intimate air of the historic center, there is a little gem that smells of home and passion: Gein. A restaurant where you can breathe the love for the profession, the attention to detail and that perfect mix of familiarity and professionalism that makes you feel immediately in the right place. The fish? Very fresh. The service? Always with a smile, even in front of annoying customers like me, who always ask for something more (and who are promptly satisfied!). The dish of the heart? A tagliolini with truffles with a crudité of scampi to marvel — yes, with the “g”, because here even the words become better. Really good. A place to return to. 14/06/2025: I highly recommend Gein in the historic center of Loano! Intimate and excellent quality! Marinated and seared salmon to die for, divine raw fish. The wine list offers a wide choice but Lollo always suggests the best to accompany the dishes.

20/05/2025: What to write besides the fact that it is the best restaurant I have ever been to? Everything was perfect, food, atmosphere, service. A place where you feel good.

21/04/2025: Finally the restaurant takes off with chef Fabio...true Neapolitan...technique and taste combine in his dishes! The texture immediately jumps on the palate! I tried the Easter menu and didn't eat à la carte...but despite being against this format...I was pleasantly surprised! It's worth the trip!

08/07/2025: Our absolute favorite place to eat breakfast!! This is a must here. We ate every morning. The pastries and espresso were delicious and the eggs and bacon were a nice change up. The staff was so friendly and welcoming!!!

08/07/2025: A wonderful place for lunch with dessert away from the crowds. Friendly service. Tasty dishes, and solid portions, local wine from Cinque Terre at a good price. Brilliant desserts! We ate tiramisu and cannoli with pistachios, we will gladly return for others, because the choice was really big

16/06/2025: I returned to this dream place for an aperitif.....aperitif formula €20, too bad they bring very little compared to what I remembered last year, a small square of focaccia, a shrimp with mayonnaise and a quarter of a brioche with a little ham, end of the aperitif, we were all a little disappointed. Luckily the place is worth it... the view is fantastic, we are locals and I don't know if we will return

09/06/2025: Unique experience❤️ The restaurant is located inside the Hotel Vis à Vis and offers a spectacular view of the Baia del Silenzio and the Baia delle Favole. The location is beautiful and the atmosphere is something magical! Refined dishes and quality raw materials. We had a risotto with wasabi and oysters, a large raw fish where there was also sushi prepared by the chef and finally a sea bream in salt accompanied by potatoes and vegetables (the fish was cleaned so well that we didn't find even a bone, congratulations!). The service was impeccable: kind and helpful staff. To conclude they offered us a small tray of pastries and some liqueurs made by them, which were also delicious! The quality/price ratio was also excellent. Everything lived up to expectations, highly recommended!

18/06/2025: ABSOLUTELY fantastic restaurant that we could just go back to Genoa to go again. The service is absolutely incredible, the food wonderful and the place cozy. Recommend to everyone.

20/05/2025: Another place on the map of Italy, and there are no words to describe the taste and quality of service. The care, in every respect, was at the highest level. The use of seasonal products.... wine from a vineyard on a nearby hill....... Well.... we left the plates without a drop of sauce..... that means a lot.... We recommend it with all our hearts.

Large quantities, excellent quality and prices in line with the city market in a traditional, very characteristic environment with fresh and excellent quality fish. If you give more importance to the food than to the location then it is the ideal place

18/06/2025: Local in the center but ABSOLUTELY not typical for tourists. Family and genuine management. Excellent food, very fresh fish (displayed in full view) and very generous portions. Adequate wine list. Absolutely average price, in fact, for the quality of the food offered I would have gladly paid something more. The owner very helpful and kind. 100% to try, reservation required in advance.

15/06/2025: Great experience, We were 3 colleagues passing through on the highway for a job. With this short detour we really had a great time. A lot of courtesy, excellent food and super honest prices. The village is also nice and surrounded by greenery. We will definitely be back. Better to book.

07/07/2025: We stumbled upon this restaurant by chance and had an excellent meal. The service is fast and pleasant. We ate on a small terrace in front of the restaurant. Everything is beautifully decorated. Many locals come here or look for their pinsas. The food is delicious, and you can tell everything is made with fresh ingredients. We will return.
