12/10/2025: Our second stop was at L'Oste e la Strega. What can I say? An oasis of peace and superb food. There really are no weak points in a beloved place where hospitality and flavor are at the heart of everything. Being vegan, we booked in advance and were offered a special 10-course menu, which was truly fantastic and plentiful! I'll end by thanking all the staff for their kindness! See you again as soon as possible!

23/09/2025: A peaceful haven in the Ligurian hinterland, with excellent dishes that blend Ligurian tradition and Neapolitan cuisine, including vegetarian options! 😊 Simple and authentic atmosphere, friendly and helpful staff. Stunning mountain views from the terrace! We recommend a walk to the sanctuary after lunch to enjoy a beautiful view of the village and surrounding olive groves.

08/10/2025: We had dinner at Clandestine last night. Macda “Mac” served us in the private room, near the bagno. That was THE best culinary experience we’ve had in Italy our entire trip (Lake Como, Milan, mRome, Florence, Pisa, Sienna, San Gimignano, and Cinque Terra). Topped off with the most unique dessert I’ve had in Italy: pesche e mango 🥭!

12/09/2025: A quaint little corner in the alleys of Albenga's historic center. The aperitivo offers a generous selection of pizzas and focaccias at more than reasonable prices. We love it!

29/11/2025: A restaurant with soul Insolita Zuppa isn't just a restaurant: it's an experience. The welcome is warm, almost familial, and the dishes are remarkably refined. Special mention goes to the homemade soups and pasta. A sincere, authentic place that makes you want to return the very next day.

25/11/2025: Gelateria Corniglia is tucked away behind a pretty non-descript little portal—easy to miss unless you’re looking for it, even though there is some signage. You head downstairs and suddenly land on a surprisingly nice patio where you can sit and enjoy your gelato or whatever frozen treat you’re in the mood for. The gelato itself is solid and the setting is great for taking a break from wandering the town. Service was… fine. Civil, but not exactly warm or welcoming. Still, it’s a good stop if you want a quiet spot to cool off and relax for a few minutes.

16/10/2025: The BEST ice cream around! - Especially the slush and lemon ice cream! Two super nice ladies who served us were friendly, cheerful, and simply amazing!! We've been there twice now, the last time being 4 years ago (man with a hat). Thank you and highly recommended!

17/09/2025: A truly meticulously crafted, welcoming, and intimate place. Attentive and friendly staff. Perfect service. Dishes were truly elegantly served. It's a shame the food was completely lacking in flavor. The pesto pasta was bland, and you couldn't taste the basil. The sea bass was rubbery and also tasted bland. Maybe we chose poorly, maybe it wasn't the right evening...what's certain is that we were disappointed.

26/10/2025: I've been going to this delicious trattoria regularly now, and I bring my friends too, like last night. The quality and friendliness make you feel right at home. The menu features truly excellent and delicious dishes, prepared with high-quality ingredients and with great skill. To top it off, the desserts, made exclusively by them, are truly amazing! I could go there every day!

23/10/2025: Sunday family lunch at this restaurant on the outskirts of Genoa in the Bisagno Valley. Obviously, the inviting fixed-price menus (13 euros) offered on weekdays aren't worth it on Sundays, so we ate à la carte, which are significantly more expensive. There were five of us, and we all had two courses: appetizers, first courses, second courses, and dessert. To drink, we had a bottle of wine on tap and a good amount of water. In the end, we were all satisfied with what we ate and the decent portions. In fact, I thought both the pansotti in walnut sauce and the Fassona steak tartare with stracciatella were good. The only questionable thing was the mandarin sorbet, which was more like a normal ice cream. Service was fairly quick and very courteous. Restrooms were in good order. In the end, we paid around 35 euros each, but I'd say they deserved it.

11/10/2025: A pleasant discovery, a very beautiful and relaxing atmosphere, friendly and attentive staff, and the dishes were a spectacle, all delicious and of high quality. We'll definitely be back.

04/11/2025: A fantastic find! The food was excellent, as was the service. It's the perfect place to enjoy authentic Genoese pesto. The pasta with anchovies was also delicious.

21/11/2025: Excellent food. Good, nice, and cheap! €8 for the set menu. There's a wait, but it's worth it. Seating is limited. Go with a backup plan to eat your burgers somewhere else.

15/11/2025: I also recommend it for vegetarians and vegans. For every sandwich, you can choose a veggie burger, and it's truly delicious. I had the veggie burger for €6. The only downside is that the place is really small and fills up quickly, and the wait is incredibly long (30 minutes for starters). It's worth it, though.

07/11/2025: Every time I come back, I find a welcoming atmosphere and lots of kindness. On Friday, the stockfish with potatoes and beans is excellent. Well done!

14/09/2025: Everything was perfect. The waitress was radiant, adorable, and very attentive. The food was delicious and totally worth the price. Every bite was a treat. The atmosphere and decor were perfect; we had a wonderful time. By far our best experience in Bordighera!
