02/12/2025: Excellent welcome! We had a midweek lunch. Seven of us showed up without reservations, and yet they found a way to accommodate us. You can choose between a full menu or a la carte, or rather, a blackboard where the daily specials are listed. The "mandilli al pesto" were fantastic, and the stockfish was exquisite, a different take on the classic Ligurian-style "accommodato." It was a business lunch, but I'll find the opportunity to return and enjoy the cuisine in a more relaxed way.

16/11/2025: A well-maintained and welcoming place, we had a great time! We booked for dinner and chose the four-course autumn menu for €40 per person, excluding drinks. 27/07/2025: It was a great evening. Food was very good and delicious. The chef brings its own touch to the dishes and surprises you with his mix. Definitely a place to come back when I'm in Genua again.

25/10/2025: Great for an aperitif or later. The cocktails are very good, as are the wines. The tapas plate served with it is varied and generous. The service is super friendly and the atmosphere is great. It's easy to chat with your neighbors! Expect to pay €8/€10 per glass.

27/11/2025: The restaurant is centrally located, but not the easiest to find because the street is quite dark. However, the search is worth it for the overall experience. The lady is incredibly kind and helpful, and the service is informal but attentive and never intrusive. Every dish I ordered was perfectly seasoned and had exquisite flavors. It was a wonderful experience!

27/10/2025: Let's start with the good things: the service was acceptable, the prawns and mussels were passable, and the appetizer was too. The place is very small, but that's not the problem. Perhaps it would be bigger if the entrance wasn't cluttered with kitchen equipment: a water dispenser, a huge blast chiller right at the entrance, and a coffee machine. Okay, I guess these are choices dictated by necessity. We read the menu; nothing special. We order the seafood risotto: not paella, and certainly not 1kg of deconstructed white rice topped with mussels and prawns. And yet: that's exactly what we get. In a single paella pan for the whole table. It's announced with, "Here's the paella." Now, in gastronomy, names matter. I'm not going to go into what risotto and paella are; it doesn't matter now. Or rather, it matters a great deal, but in this context, it's decidedly superfluous. What matters is what we received: a generous 1 kg of parboiled white rice (probably with a generous amount of glutamate, i.e., a good bouillon cube), very boiled. Because it's different: well, because by boiling rice in abundant water, the starch dissolves, the rice loses body... And it doesn't form any internal creaminess. It's also certainly not creamed, not risotto-style... More details for connoisseurs, obviously. Obviously, we sent almost all of it back. "Do you want to take it home?" (They asked us twice). Me: "No, we'll ignore it." Then at a certain point, a woman from the kitchen (I assume the cook) comes out into the dining room and says to the waiters: "The kitchen is closed, I'm fed up..." (it was 1:45 PM). We, of course: message received. The waiter asks us: do you want anything else? Yes, the bill. €157. Two seafood appetizers (passable, it must be said) and a 1 kg pan of Carnaroli rice. Boiled rice. With mussels and prawns on top. Those were passable, too, it must be said. Oh well.

Located in Dolceacqua's main square, it offers an eclectic atmosphere with retro touches and modern, designer items, and offers both culinary and decorative items for purchase. The menu features traditional dishes as well as seasonal twists. The staff is friendly and engaging. The service is excellent.

02/11/2025: What a lovely atmosphere! Every time I go, I can only give it 5 stars. Meat lovers, you're in the right place, but vegans are welcome too! They offer vegetarian and vegan options. The food is sublime, from appetizers, first courses, main courses, and desserts. It may seem strange, but I eat vegetables like nowhere else! I'm attaching photos of the marrow with raw meat, grilled chicken, and grilled meat.

14/10/2025: A hidden gem in the Levante hills. La Zita is always a sure thing: good food, homely service, and reasonable prices. If you're looking for a restaurant where you can eat a wealth of traditional products, you've come to the right place. The restaurant is so homey, it almost feels like entering a private home and being welcomed as part of the family. The highlight of the menu is the exceptional first courses, followed by the Ligurian-style rabbit, very juicy and not at all gamey. To top off the meal, the bill is incredibly low, in contrast to the rest of the restaurant. Excellent value for money.
