08/09/2025: Fantastic place, discovered through friends. The food was truly a feast for the palate; everything was excellent, from appetizers to dessert. Highly recommended, and the quality/price ratio was excellent.

06/10/2025: We spent two wonderful evenings here. The food is outstanding; the pasta is an absolute must, and the freshly grilled meats are a true culinary highlight. But the real gem of this restaurant is the warmth and hospitality with which you are welcomed and welcomed. We would be happy to come back anytime. 29/09/2025: Everything was special, for what it's worth, my ideal restaurant. Prompt and polite service, top-quality food, and perfect timing. Their specialty is grilled meat, but the other dishes are equally impressive. Just a little far from the center of La Spezia.

18/09/2025: @NotsochillPhil on YouTube. I had my lunch here while in Genoa and I would highly recommend this place. See my short on YouTube we had Pesto Gnocchi and Truffle Ravioli with a small dessert of tiramisu. I had a large Gnocchi and the Mrs had a medium Ravioli and it was plenty. The dishes are served in paper bowls with a flour tortilla but dont let this put you off as I wish mine didn't have to end. 😀

17/10/2025: The place may not stand out at first glance, but the management is friendly, very kind, and fast. Prices are good, and portions are quite generous. Homemade desserts. The fish is fresh, and you can taste it. Definitely worth trying again. Despite the fact that they're foreigners, who cook excellent Italian cuisine, their service is a step up from many Italian-run restaurants.

21/09/2025: Fresh fish, good, authentic dishes, and quite generous portions. The staff were friendly, helpful, and accommodating. We had a great time and will be back.

14/10/2025: A restaurant with a splendid view of the river, the staff were extremely kind and professional, even though we arrived very late. The dishes were excellent, carefully prepared, with a focus on seasonality, and with surprising pairings: the porcini mushroom ice cream was a standout. Highly recommended.

02/10/2025: Absolutely amazing experience! We had the selection of seafood appetizers and it was absolutely delicious, probably one of the best ever! Also seafood spaghetti and mix of fried seafood were perfect!

13/10/2025: I happened to be in La Spezia by chance, it didn't even cross my mind that you were right there..... Walking around the center with my girlfriend, we were looking for something to eat, and I see NANA 😱😱 (the place where you make burgers)..... Oh God, I'm shocked, and where is NANA MEAT??? .... I look on Google Maps, I rush over, my girlfriend was looking at me thinking I was possessed, I see the windows, I go in, ask the waiter if it's possible to eat and at the same moment I see the MAESTRO at work..... I can't believe it.... It's him.... The super kind waiter takes us to the table.... I have to go and say hello to the MAESTRO..... We order two extraordinary appetizers, due to a small mistake they bring us the wrong appetizer (we didn't notice anything) they point it out to us and bring us the one we ordered, all three spectacular, because yes, they even left us the wrong one..... ALL 3 AMAZING..... We move on to the strong stuff, beef fillet and diaphragm..... I felt like I was talking to angels.... Then, oh well, the side dishes were really spot on and the desserts were crazy..... I won't even mention the coffee, amazing.... I was finally able to talk to the MAESTRO and what am I supposed to do, I'm 25 too I've been working in the kitchen for years, and even longer as a pork butcher... But at NANA we felt pampered like at home... Review from a pork butcher by passion and a professional chef... Thank you so much

12/10/2025: Lunch with friends We chose from the menu. We had the platter as an appetizer. The meat and the burger (all very good). We had two steaks: an Angus and a Polish Friesian. Both were good, but the Angus was better, even though the Friesian was dry-aged. The waitress wasn't very cheerful, but she was good at explaining. The price was fair for what we ate. We had a great time.

04/10/2025: Not the tourist trap that it seems to be. Very pretty view on the cathedral (from the terrace). Propper food & friendly service for a very good price.

30/09/2025: I ordered the truffle pasta, it was delicious! 10/10 Chef Mikael came to the table with a blueberry liqueur and chocolate truffle—a gastronomic experience!

22/09/2025: During our trip to Italy, we discovered this gem by the seaside. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, with a host who patiently introduced us to local wines and the restaurant’s specialties. The dishes were beautifully prepared and full of authentic Italian flavor — in fact, it was the most delicious meal we’ve had so far on our journey. Watching the ferries pass by as we dined made the evening even more memorable. A truly delightful experience worth revisiting.

16/09/2025: Truly beautiful restaurant, with a splendid sea view, both inside and out. Very fresh fish, excellent cuisine. Clean and tidy place, best to book. Super friendly and helpful staff. Highly recommended.

12/10/2025: Great ambience in this secluded courtyard bar which had a cool, relaxed vibe. Having dinner here we found food & drinks were good, the fish & chips especially so (and this is coming from an Anglophile). Although things were a little on the pricy side, especially the beer, but if you can forgive that it's a nice little place.

12/10/2025: What a surprise!!! I was looking for a focacceria and I found the bistro!!! Excellent, I'll try again!
