20/08/2025: A chic restaurant with delicious cuisine in a charming location. The portions are incredible, the fish is excellent; I recommend the grilled seafood, the fish soup, and the fresh fish menu. We also received many compliments on the prosecco, focaccia, breadsticks, and water.

20/08/2025: A slightly overrated note on the food side: lobster pasta: the lobster is overcooked, it's real mush and the pasta sauce doesn't have much flavor. For dessert: pineapple carpaccio with a scoop of very "industrial" vanilla ice cream, no flavor, especially not vanilla! It's a shame to eat bad ice cream in Italy 🇮🇹

30/07/2025: The staff was very welcoming, the location is super cozy and the tables are very well set, I enjoyed a dish of troffies al pesto and it was perfectly fine, not too salty with chunks of potato. The white wine was delicious and fresh. We had a great time

28/07/2025: The Osteria dell’Uva is centrally located and has a nice menu. The Carbonnara is really tasty. During our visit, there was a small “show” from street artists at the intersection, which wasn’t to our liking, but others seemed to enjoy it.

23/08/2025: I call to book, they put me on hold... they chat and don't answer the phone anymore... after three minutes I hang up... if they treat customers like this... imagine how they cook.

18/08/2025: We have visited Da Pippi during Ferragosto initially as a backup because many restaurants were closed. At the end we were glad about this coincidence and it is truly a local highlight. The service was excellent and the quality of the menu was outstanding. We had Pasta as Primi Piatti and they were authentic and delicious. As Secondi we had calve with potatoes and this was amazing. The gravey was amongst the best I have ever had so far. As dessert we asked what was the most popular one for the place and it turned out to be pana cotta. It was so soft, tasty and delicious! Also the Ambiente was nice. We can only recommend to visit this restaurant.

11/09/2025: La Spezia gets passed by as another port access to other nearby more popular cities of Italy but it has gems to discover. Nana Meat and Wine is one them. Situated nearby plaza and the La Spezia Centrale, it’s primed to be noticed. It has a beautiful patio outside but inside is very elegant and gives you that comfortable feeling of opulence. Tastefully decorated and everything has a touch of class on it, including the access to the washroom which neatly tucked behind, it doesn’t announce itself to be a washroom. And the food, whatever you order, you’ll be catered to by servers, who as busy as they are, don’t mind being asked to do a bit outside their comfort. Love the steak, whether, it’s Chianina or Fassona, you’ll be delighted. Try it when you’re in La Spezia, it’s a beautiful experience.

11/09/2025: We got tasting menu that were 4 delicious dishes plus 1 dessert. Their meat was no doubt high-quality. I would like to give 5 stars but because of the service I have to take out 1 star, honestly. We did not feel welcoming, tables for 2 are placed poorly along the corridor and my seat facing toward restaurant's staffs area/drink-prep area. The staffs did not do anything wrong or caused us problems, I must say, but to us seemed like they just memorized what they need to tell from the menu instead of introducing their interesting and thoughtful menu made by the chef. Great experience by the food here but we would not come back. I'd give 3.5/5 stars in the end.

24/08/2025: The restaurant is aesthetically simple, almost as if you were eating at someone's home, but the flavors are carefully crafted and the dishes are original. All at fair prices, making it a truly enjoyable experience for those seeking a quiet getaway.

26/08/2025: We had dinner at Boccon Divino and had a great time. The service was impeccable, the food was good, and it was beautiful to look at. We'll be back.

20/08/2025: Dinner was enjoyed in a lovely outdoor courtyard. The staff was knowledgeable and friendly. The dishes were delicious; we had amberjack tartar and capon magro for appetizers, and seafood ravioli and pasta with clams for main courses (the latter being a standout). If you're passing through Chiavari, this is a must-try. One caveat: the menu is perhaps a little limited; I'd add at least one more first course.

19/08/2025: It's one of the few high-quality places in Genoa. It's located in Pontedecimo, far from the city center, in a spot without any tourists, so you have to go there specifically. There are very few tables and seats, and reservations are required. The food is very good, in my opinion; the description of it is a bit exaggerated in the realm of food and wine swank. This, which has been trendy for a few years, bothers me a bit.

30/07/2025: Roberta and Roberto never disappoint you, if I could I would go there every week, by the way, in addition to the excellent fish, here the wine list is a very serious thing!

12/09/2025: Excellent meat and very friendly staff Fair prices. Must try. Reservations are recommended... especially on Saturday evenings. If the weather permits, dining under the stars in the little square is particularly charming...

11/09/2025: Superb! The dishes served were delicious, we thoroughly enjoyed them. A special mention goes to the homemade desserts, truly excellent!! The welcome and service were truly attentive and very kind, very welcoming. We went there one evening; the terrace overlooks a cute little square, and the interior restaurant has a vaulted ceiling—it's magnificent!

01/09/2025: We loved our experience at Oca Bianca! Our hotel recommended them for a Pesto & Wine Class, which was phenomenal. It was just my husband and I, where we made classic Ligurian pesto that was Cesare and Riccardo's (the brothers who own the restaurant) grandmother's recipe. They then served delicious white and red wines, focaccia, pasta, and basil sorbet. It was so good that we cancelled our reservations for another place a few nights later and came back for dinner. This was a great decision as their menu was fantastic. While most restaurants in town focused on fish given the setting, Oca Bianca does both meats and fish, so it's a nice change. Riccardo used surprising blends of flavors that worked so well together. Every part of the meal was perfect and the picturesque lane we sat in was a great outdoor setting. We hope to come back again soon!

28/08/2025: Absolutely incredible! The food and hospitality is the best here in Santa Margarita. The dishes are works of art that look as good as they taste. My wife and I will certainly come back again!

24/08/2025: I'll start by saying that I've been there several times and every time, I've always eaten well. Last night, it was clearly not a great evening. Ciccio's platter appetizer was truly delicious and very tasty. After the appetizer, it was a complete waste of time: 45 minutes to receive a mixed grill for two. It seems a bit excessive, considering that the order had been placed 1 hour earlier. The grill, both the ribs and the sausages and coppa, were quite dehydrated. The only thing that was saved was the slice of beef, which was really good and tender. In the end, a bit annoyed, we left without dessert or coffee... I hope it was just an accident along the way, bad nights can happen 🤷‍♂️
