26/09/2025: Buonissimo! While passing through Santa Margherita Ligure, we were looking for a place to eat and decided to go to Oca Bianca. And from the starter to the dessert, we were not disappointed! Everything was perfect!! We received a very warm welcome, with very pleasant and friendly staff. And the food was simply delicious!! It's simple: I'd love the same restaurant in Geneva so I could go there every week! 🤍

20/10/2025: A pleasant evening at this lovely restaurant in Sanremo's Casino district. The staff were friendly and welcoming. The bill was in line with the price. A welcome glass of prosecco was much appreciated, along with a couple of pieces of focaccia. Recommended if you're in the area.

19/10/2025: An elegant restaurant in the center of Sanremo, right across from the Casino. Extensive meat and fish menu; generous portions. The welcome prosecco was very welcome. Desserts are a bit weak compared to the rest.

02/11/2025: A beautiful dinner, an intimate setting, excellent service, and even better food. It's not typical La Spezia cuisine, but the fish is incredibly fresh and cooked to order. Compliments! Highly recommended.

18/10/2025: Excellent choice, extraordinary food, and even better service. I mentioned the service because I noticed in my 30 days in Italy that service is generally poor. And when we did get good service, well, I wanted to highlight it. The girl who served us last night was very professional and, above all, attentive. Both my food (fish) and that of the rest of my companions were top-quality, very fresh, and accompanied by a very welcoming atmosphere.

13/11/2025: The best pesto I've ever had. The place is simple, almost like a takeaway, although they do have a seating area. You order the pasta and sauce you want, and they cook it fresh and serve it to you. The trofie with pesto were simply amazing…

19/10/2025: We had dinner, the service was excellent. The waiters were very knowledgeable, welcoming, and friendly. They gave us excellent advice. We tried a shared soup, the spaghetti with lobster, and the delicious pistachio ice cream dessert (a trip to Sicily). The prices were reasonable for the restaurant's quality. I would definitely recommend it to anyone who loves seafood and good food. I will definitely be back.

21/10/2025: We had a great dinner on Sunday night. The food was excellent and included unusual dishes (Norwegian salmon) as well as traditional Ligurian dishes. The sea bass in Ligurian sauce was better than the same dish at the Excelsior Hotel. They have an excellent wine list with many local wines (we are from Sonoma County and love local wines). The service was very attentive. I strongly recommend it. In fact we are returning tonight (two days later) rather than trying another restaurant in Rapallo.

20/10/2025: I'd start by saying that the restaurant's location is truly excellent. Yesterday we had lunch outside, right in front of the castle and just steps from the sea. We ordered a selection of raw fish, a fried dish, and seasoned octopus, along with a bottle of Vermentino. We spent €160.00 for two. In my opinion, it's a bit pricey for the little we ate; they probably charge for the location.

31/10/2025: This little restaurant was fantastic! We stumbled upon it on a side street off Via Garibaldi. It's completely 1960s-style: a step back in time, but that's what makes it charming and timeless. A very friendly and warm welcome from the owner, whose wife works in the kitchen. The two of them have been running this place together for 15 years. A simple yet delicious and honest menu, carefully prepared and served by the owner, who takes the time to chat, even with other guests. The stuffed sardines and grilled octopus: delicious! The price-quality ratio was excellent.

24/09/2025: While walking around the old streets of Genoa we discovered a gem of a restaurant. It was small and had an intimate feeling about it so we made a booking. The interior was absolutely beautiful, elegant and decorated with amazing furnishings, memorabilia from days gone by and with extremely comfortable seating. We had a wonderful dinner, the food was beautifully presented and really delicious. Maurizio, the owner, made the evening one to remember, he was such a lovely man who was happy to chat with us throughout the evening. We would highly recommend Au Cafe to anyone who likes good food , fine dining and a great atmosphere. Thank you Maurizio for a great night. Andrew & Gisella.

05/06/2025: Excellent and imaginative cuisine. It's worthy of a Michelin-starred restaurant. Impeccable service, with explanations of each creation. The local wine is very fruity and dry, with a good finish. Thank you very much.

21/05/2025: One of the best restaurant experiences I‘ve ever had. The waitress was really kind and the food was just amazing. There‘s really nothing negative i could say about this restaurant, it‘s definitely worth going. I think the prices are justified.

06/09/2025: The best pesto and one of the best fried dishes I've ever tasted. Warm and professional welcome, intimate, warm and elegant atmosphere, excellent wine list. In short, a must-see, and after just two visits, it's become my go-to restaurant in Genoa.

04/11/2025: The portions are truly enormous. Delicious main courses and perfect desserts. €41 for two people for two huge pasta dishes, two desserts, a bottle of sparkling water, and a coffee. A little tip: if you order one starter, only order one pasta dish for two people.

01/11/2025: This restaurant is perfect for pasta lovers and those who enjoy large portions. You can choose from a wide variety of sauces. In addition to pasta, there are a few appetizers and salads. Desserts are also available. Friendly staff and quick service. I recommend booking.

31/10/2025: This was my second visit. The seafood pasta was excellent, but the portion wasn't quite large enough. The Prosecco was excellent. I come to Italy often and I highly recommend this restaurant. The service was superb and the staff attentive.

26/10/2025: The fixed menu features fresh fish, delicious appetizers, first and second courses, a jug of wine and water included, and the young woman serving us was friendly and professional. The owner, also attentive to his customers, kindly offered us a second serving of mussels. The restaurant is on the waterfront, with street parking.

19/11/2025: The location is very charming and beautiful, both inside and out. You can enjoy a beautiful view both day and night. The prices, however, while not above average for what they offer, are more like a very expensive aperitivo with little food (you can certainly pay for dishes, but then, as I said, it's more expensive).

07/11/2025: Excellent restaurant, quiet and with a spectacular view; excellent food, especially the chestnut gnocchi and calamarata. Very kind and helpful staff; one girl moved us to a table by the window without us asking, as soon as it became available. We'll definitely be back in the summer! (And great music, lots of Vasco's songs.)
