17/08/2025: I met Nana on social media. On our way back from vacation, my partner and I decided to stop in La Spezia to try her restaurant. The welcome and kindness of the staff was excellent. We ordered the dry-aged fillet and sirloin. The cooking was excellent and the flavor was excellent, further enhanced by the selection of salts they brought to our table to accompany the meat. Excellent experience.

27/07/2025: Fantastic family business!! Grandfather is the boss and makes pizza for you ! Daughters and granddaughter give you a professional service with a smile . Grandmother preparing all ingredients and making amazing desserts. When you are around, just come and see 😃 Enjoy!!!

19/08/2025: The location, food, and service were all excellent. If you're passing through Sanremo, I highly recommend dinner at Pico, for the quality and quantity of the dishes offered, and the courtesy and friendliness of the staff.

08/08/2025: There were three of us at the restaurant. The service was very good. There is a large wine selection. We received excellent advice. They didn't force the most expensive wine on us, but rather catered to our tastes. The dishes were delicious and beautifully prepared. They also took my wife's shellfish allergy into consideration and made recommendations. The ambiance is very nice, rather upscale. We had reservations, of course, which should have been a given. The prices were absolutely reasonable for the quality and service. All in all, a successful evening. Grazie

07/07/2025: Magnificent… I can’t say anything else. The environment is furnished with class and truly measured taste. Welcoming and with a suggestive view of the River. Courteous and helpful staff. Amazing cuisine, made with simple and quality ingredients. Well-stocked cellar with reasonable prices. Definitely honest prices in relation to what the place has to offer. Highly recommended

19/06/2025: I have been a regular visitor to Albenga for 4 years, I know many restaurants but I had never been here because the place is hidden behind a Bingo hall, not visible from the main road. It has a large parking lot, a very precious feature in Liguria; I arrived there following friends who were there for a vintage car rally (these events with rallies are exceptional opportunities for tourism promotion and some municipal administrations do not want them)! I immediately booked for 4, for the following evening. Elegant, clean place with impeccable service, without unpleasant waiting; constant supervision by Luciano with a discreet and affable presence at the same time. We ate appetizers, first course or second course à la carte. I report on what I chose: shrimp and artichoke salad with an incredibly satisfying presentation and flavor for the eye and palate. Linguine with clams superb: ideal cooking of the pasta and excellently savory and blended sauce. To close as a dessert the Parfait with fresh fruit: excellent. I drank Pigato of superior quality of their production. I shouldn't say it but the price, less than 60 euros per place, for the location, the service, the menu, the quality of the food and the presentation of the dishes, is completely proportionate and favorable for the customer. We will return and bring friends, sure to make a good impression.

04/07/2025: Perfect bar for breakfast, very popular with everyone. Good cappuccinos, large brioches, excellent pizzas. Perhaps the only problem is that you can't stay too long, the tables and space are limited.

04/07/2025: The pastries, including those for breakfast, are exceptional. The cappuccinos are sometimes good, sometimes a little less so, but always sufficient.

22/07/2025: This delightful little restaurant is set under the trees in the pretty little village square. An interesting menu features some local specialties which is nice to see and the family are friendly and welcoming. I had the ravioli which were delicious and my friend had the lasagne, which is unfortunately where it went all went wrong and stopped me from awarding 5 stars which is a shame. The lasagne looked lovely when it arrived but when my friend took a mouthful it was stone cold, un fact it was bordering on still frozen in the middle! The waitress apologised profusely and returned with a piping hot version, but surely this is a very basic error that should never have left the kitchen. To be fair they were very apologetic and offered us complimentary coffee but such a shame.

14/07/2025: This little restaurant is a gem. We had a nice long lunch in early July 2025. The food was fabulous. Extremely fresh creative salad. We also had a type of homemade pasta that was very different and terrific. The food was so good that we had desert, which we usually don't do for lunch. Both homemade desserts were also terrific. An added plus was that this restaurant is run by a very hard-working family with an interesting back story. Lastly, also our server (daughter of the owner I believe) had a big smile, and every request was met with "of course" and her great service to go with the great food.

22/07/2025: Everything was excellent! Excellent food with generous portions, fresh and delicious fish. The atmosphere was very nice and welcoming. I definitely recommend it.

29/06/2025: Scoperta per caso da mia sorella ed a due passi da casa ci abbiamo pranzato ieri. Il locale è piccolo, splendidamente arredato in stile marinaresco e pulitissimo. Il personale ed i proprietari professionali ma allo stesso tempo ti fanno sentire parte della loro famiglia. Parlando delle pietanze la scelta è solo di pesce (a parte le lasagne al pesto che avevano davvero un ottimo profumo) e, per chi lo ama come me, fa davvero la differenza! Qualità e freschezza, il tutto servito su bellissimi piatti, sono davvero rimasta colpita!! In particolare un elogio per i ravioli i di branzino fatti da loro... Da urlo! Complimenti davvero a tutti!!!

19/08/2025: It's a place with excellent service and attention. The wait time is short, and the food quality is exquisite. I recommend La Pasta al Pesto; I think it's very good. So, after seeing crazy and exaggerated prices in Genoa, we found this place with reasonable prices and good service. I highly recommend it.

17/08/2025: I highly recommend this place for people who are trying pasta for the first time in Italy. I am from India and I had pesto pasta many a times in past but what I had here is truly amazing. Smiling staff and they explain you the dish if you are new to this.

22/07/2025: Vi spiser meget fisk på restaurant og derfor inspireres vi af dette når vi tilbereder hjemme. Denne aften delte vi en forret bestående af blåmuslinger i krydret tomatsauce — muslinger var perfekt tilberedt og fonden velsmagende. Til hovedret fik vi veltilberedt tun med grillet tomat og 2 hele arme blæksprutte i kartoffelcreme - tilberedt til perfektion og derfor utrolig velsmagende. Angela som betjente os var utrolig nærværende, smilende og positiv ( en sjælden oplevelse i en travl turist by. Næste vi besøger Alassio vil vi helt sikkert besøge denne restaurant igen 🤗 Mange tak for en dejlig aften og god oplevelse 🙏

20/07/2025: Sono tornato a mangiare alla Banchina 51 e come sempre sono stato bene, ottimi piatti, ottime materie prime, ottimo servizio. Devo dire che ho trovato ,rispetto al passato, dei piatti migliorati sotto l'aspetto della preparazione, quella maionese agli agrumi sul baccalà in tempura era una chicca che ha reso il piatto squisito. Alla Banchina non vado per mangiare, ma per mangiare " bene", è solo una parola in più ma fa tutta la differenza del mondo. Complimenti a tutto lo staff
