Nice place in Carugo di Moneglia. All the courses and the atmosphere were excellent, particularly the presentation of the menu, literally told by the waiters, sitting at the table with us. Definitely a high level restaurant, recommended

We had a private wine tasting session with Luca on on day followed by a dinner the following day. Tye wine tasting concentrated on Ligurian wines and included a sparkling rose’, three whites and a dessert wine. The delivery of tte information was enchanting and informative, including info on climate and geography. The meal is a fixed price of two courses at €45 each with six options of starter and main. Our group of 14 covered most choices and the consensus was five star for taste and originality. The restaurant is only open at night and has about 20 places. It’s well worth a visit. I’ve not had a meal this good in such perfect ambience for years

This restaurant was so special I actually ate there twice, once in a big group and again with my daughters. It is unassuming from the outside, but delightful, quirky, cool and welcoming on the inside. Luca and his wife were the best possible hosts, siting with us at the table and sharing with us their passion for the food and wine. They remembered little details about me - like my daughters joining me in Italy - which created a very personalised experience. The food was as exceptional as everyone says. We gave advance notice that one of our party was vegetarian, and she had her own menu created for her. The menu itself is very honest and upfront about costs - includes service (hurrah - no stressy moments at the end of the meal) and advises you how much the wine (by the glass, carafe or bottle) is likely to cost. I had the Stockfish mousse (twice), the pork and the rooster - all fantastic. The anchovies in a hazelnut crumb also tasted incredible, and I was given a piece of the jamon, which melted in the mouth. Anyway - enough of this - just go there and try it yourself!

As a New Yorker I can say the best pork I’ve ever had in my life. Luca is a master sommelier yet is very casual and easy to chat about with wine. Also the bottles are very reasonable in price. Must try - shocked this place hasn’t gotten more world renown attention.

We actually accidentally walked into Assirto's, but it was a “happy mistake”. This restaurant runs on the love and passion of the owners. The food was super tasty and really good value for money. Definitely recommended!
