15/08/2025: Very nice hotel with helpful and pleasant staff. The room was comfortable for a family. The only negative was that it smelled a little in the toilet and although it had a window I couldn't open it because of the air conditioning. Quiet and family environment. Nice breakfast with plenty of choices. We would definitely choose it again. Thank you for the hospitality.

11/08/2025: Great place to spend a day relaxing by the pool. It's a shame about the incredibly loud background music, which I couldn't even drown out with headphones. Did anyone ever tell you anything?

10/08/2025: The food is excellent, fresh pasta, second courses to choose from, delicious side dishes, excellent desserts and fair prices... The staff is helpful and always smiling... They always have quality ready meals, and with a wide choice... Excellent!! Highly recommended

06/08/2025: I had dinner at this restaurant this evening and it was a truly positive experience. The atmosphere is youthful, cheerful, and welcoming. The pizza was delicious and the desserts were superb. We'll definitely be back!

28/07/2025: Locale curato e raffinato nel territorio della Tuscia. L’accoglienza è stata cordiale ed affabile. Il menù propone dei piatti davvero interessanti. La cucina è precisa e veloce, come il servizio. A mio avviso leggermente alti i prezzi pur tenuto conto che concettualmente il ristorante ha/vuole tenere un posizionamento alto.

28/04/2025: Mangiato bene, ma niente di che. Prezzi troppo alti per la qualità dei piatti. In due abbiamo speso più di 140€ Forse cambierei l'apparecchiatura: per pranzo è sicuramente bello essere rivolti verso l'esterno, ma per cena, siccome nulla è illuminato, non ha molto senso guardare il proprio riflesso in un vetro nero.

21/09/2025: Nice place, excellent food, breakfast/lunch/dinner. We had lunch, tonnarelli sea bass and cherry tomatoes for two, delicious. Two Cokes, one water, homemade ice cream, very fair prices, friendly staff. We'll be back for lunch again today.

21/09/2025: Years have passed, but Gitano remains my favorite place. The little wooden house with its beautiful veranda overlooking the lake still has its charm. From here, you can admire the lake in 360°, a lake that never has the same color, but is always beautiful. This year, the big news: in charge, we have a wonderful staff of 20-year-olds; beautiful, smiling, and extremely courteous. They always keep this place tidy and clean. The food is excellent; my favorite dish is octopus with potatoes. Francesco, our legendary lifeguard, is always there. His strong point? His ability to engage the children and keep their "screaming" parents at bay so they can take a nice nap in the afternoon. Thanks to all the staff, and see you next year. Hugs, Emanuela

15/06/2025: Nice, well-kept and welcoming place. Very kind staff. Excellent coffee. The place offers quick lunches and aperitifs that you can also enjoy in the outdoor garden.

09/06/2025: Excellent! Very kind staff, amazing hood, large and well-kept environment with outdoor seating, in a perfect location. The only downside is the smokers outside. You often have to walk through a blanket of smoke and sitting outside with a child becomes impossible if you don't want to breathe in cigarette smoke.

04/08/2025: The estate is a timeless, enchanting village, complete with a 15th-century church! We truly disconnected. Everything was authentic, managed with love and passion, a wonderful experience. Highly recommended.

31/07/2025: Secluded farmhouse nestled in the midst of nature, a place where time stands still. The welcome from the hosts, Barbara and Elisabetta, is reminiscent of the warmth of a grandmother's house. We stayed with our children to break up a long journey from south to north, and it was like being at home, chatting with two dear friends. The setting is extremely clean and well-kept, and the grandmother's cuisine is healthy and delicious. Our only regret is that we only stayed one night. Recommended for those willing to take a chance and return to the simplicity of life.

08/09/2025: In this restaurant, I found everything I expect from a place that provides refreshment for body and soul. Four of us arrived by chance on a Sunday lunchtime, and despite the late hour, we were greeted with great courtesy. The attentive and helpful staff immediately made us feel at ease. The food was excellent, and the wine was a surprise: an excellent Sagrantino by the glass, a true delight. I was truly satisfied and highly recommend this place to anyone seeking a culinary experience that is also a truly relaxing moment.

06/09/2025: Excellent. Second time and second spot, a guarantee. This time I met Chef Vincenzo, who advised me on the specials of the day: today, fresh porcini mushrooms with fettuccine, cooked to perfection. The fish didn't disappoint either... quite the opposite. Thank you, and see you soon.

20/07/2025: They got my pizza wrong, bringing me the one with sausage and fries, which is usually eaten by children, instead of a simple red pizza with ham. It wasn't easy to get it wrong. They kindly remade it for me. I waited the necessary time, and a pizza with ham arrives, but white instead of red. Naturally, I ate it without saying anything. The pizza was huge and of poor quality. Two pizzas, plus a fried dish for two, a pitcher of beer, and a amaro, €47. A bit too much.

19/07/2025: The service is sometimes a bit rude and slow, but the food, especially the pizzas, is excellent. The appetizers are delicious, and the pizza, for its size and quality, is something I can't find anywhere else.

01/10/2025: Inspired by the good reviews, I decided to stop for dinner. I ate a practically cold and flavorless amatriciana and a medium-rare beef steak that was hard to cut due to its toughness, with 1/2 liter of house red wine. Total cost was €25, which I thought was excessive for a restaurant offering a workers' menu.

25/09/2025: I have been coming to eat at this restaurant for years and I have never been disappointed, both in the food as always, it is good and the owners and the staff are also good.

07/10/2025: My wife and I came for lunch on Tuesday and had the baby octopus soup, one of the best we've ever had. Kudos to the staff and the kitchen, we'll definitely be back.

26/09/2025: The coolest bar in the area, great prices, and a delicious and huge aperitif. It's a shame the aperitif was a bit dry, with no appetizers or anything. I still recommend it.

16/05/2025: Süße kleine familiengeführte Trattoria mit kleiner Karte die regelmäßig wechselt. Super gemütliche Atmosphäre & authentische Küche. Die selbst gemachten Ravioli waren fantastisch, genau so wie die gegrillten Lammspieße. Hier wird noch mit Liebe gekocht & die Preise sind unschlagbar. Die Bedienung ist ebenfalls herzlich & schnell. Vorherige Reservierung empfehlenswert. Wir kommen bei jedem Besuch in Ischia di Castro und können die Trattoria vorbehaltlos weiterempfehlen. PS: American Express Kreditkarten werden ebenfalls angenommen, was hier in der Gegend nicht selbstverständlich ist.

14/09/2025: An evening to forget, terrible service from the start with appetizers served without plates, without bread, then the pizzas and first courses were brought at 10:15 pm after three requests, and we had been there since 8:15 pm... I can't even judge the food given the total lack of organization of the service... lots of people, not enough staff, terrible organization of the service, even arrogance at the end after the complaints... I don't think we'll be back.

14/09/2025: First time coming to this restaurant...and I think it will be the last: there were six of us, we ordered at 8:30 pm and were served at 10:15 pm. At 15, they brought the appetizer without plates, we had to ask for bread too, asking 3 times. The first courses arrived at 10:30 pm (overcooked pasta) and the pizza after 5 minutes, so we couldn't all eat together. Truly absurd!!! Highly not recommended.
