Yesterday, January 4th, we stumbled upon this restaurant by chance, and I must say we were pleasantly surprised. The pizza was very good, but the cacio e pepe was truly amazing, one of the best I've ever eaten. Highly recommended.

We went to the restaurant where we had a decent meal: the house appetizer (good), two pizzas (good), and two desserts (decent). The staff is friendly, but the service leaves a little to be desired. Will we return? There were two of us, and we spent €46, which I'd say was acceptable.

I stayed here for one night, a wonderful welcome, a really quiet place, and also the staff... the dinner was excellent, both in quality and quantity... I will definitely return when I am in that area.

We went there for dinner on our anniversary, and the staff was very friendly and helpful. I especially appreciated their handling of a request that wasn't their responsibility: my boyfriend had asked them to buy a bouquet of flowers and have it delivered to my table, and they were absolutely impeccable. The food is very good. I recommend it.

11/05/2026: Great experience! We had two starters and a side dish. Mr. Luigi was very kind to offer apple desserts as well. Old-fashioned osteria. Simple but authentic cuisine.
11/05/2026: We arrived and none of the dishes shown in the Google Maps reviews or the photos displayed outside the restaurant were available. The owner doesn't even give you a menu; he just tells you what pasta and sauces they have. He doesn't speak or understand English, so it's a bit difficult to communicate, but at least he's friendly. It's hard to get his service, though, because he's the only one there. The food is worth it. Generous portions.

Pizzeria Wine Bar Danilo

26/04/2026: After a morning hike along trail 178-178b-178c from the Borgia Fortress in Nepi to Castel Sant'Elia (Cavaterra waterfall, Fonte del Tasso, Pizzo waterfall, Piccio waterfall, medieval bridge), we rewarded ourselves with lunch at Danilo (thanks to Tommy). The two of us had ravioli cacio e pepe, pappardelle with wild boar ragù, tripe, chicory, Nepi water, and Mottura's Civitella Rosso red wine. Everything was well prepared, with quality ingredients, handmade pasta, friendly service, and a fair bill. €84 (including €32 wine). We'll be back.
27/02/2026: Excellent burgers with meat seasoned with fennel. Beautiful location at the end of the Sponata piste. Lots of sunshine.
