24/05/2025: Oggi mi trovavo in provincia di Viterbo con un caro amico, in visita al suo paese d'origine, Latera! Con l'occasione mi ha portato sul lago di Bolsena per il pranzo, e...dopo un paio di tentativi falliti perché i locali erano soldout, ci siamo imbattuti per caso nel "Ristorante il Gabbiano"; direi che siamo stati fortunati a fermarci lì, personale squisitamente cordiale e accogliente, cibo SQUISITO...ci siamo orientati sul pesce...e panorama da lasciarci senza fiato!! È stata una giornata di partenza con un clima stupendo e pranzare in riva al lago all'aperto con la giornata meravigliosa che è stata non ha avuto prezzo! Avete una location incredibile e ci sapete davvero fare, soldi spesi BENISSIMO e quando mangio BENE non li rimpiango MAI, a presto e grazie.

16/05/2025: Friendly staff, great location right on the lake, and spectacular at sunset. Unfortunately, the food doesn't quite measure up. The salad consists almost entirely of green lettuce leaves, and the tuna, which cost €22, consisted of two tiny pieces, as is typical in Italy, with no side dishes. In summary, a nice atmosphere but unfortunately overpriced.

20/05/2025: Vista splendida, atmosfera rilassata e piatti di pesce davvero buoni! Frittura di lattarini e calamari buonissima. Servizio veloce. Un posto ideale per gustare buon cibo in riva al lago.

05/05/2025: Bella esperienza sul Lago di Bolsena a Capodimonte. Ottima frittura di calamari, croccante e leggera. I primi piatti gustosi e ben preparati. Servizio cordiale e accoglienza calorosa. Consigliato per una pausa rilassante vista lago.

14/06/2025: Locale bellissimo ed evocativo, ambiente molto curato, dal giardino alla antica grotta del vino. Ci hanno accolto benissimo anche se ci siamo presentati una domenica a pranzo oltre le 14:30, senza prenotazione! Senza dimenticare che abbiamo mangiato benissimo e pagato il giusto.

26/04/2025: We had lunch at this family farm. Generous portions, superb meat, excellent cured meats, delicious vegetable pizza. Fast and courteous service. Relaxing and well-kept environment, surrounded by greenery. We will definitely be back very soon!

20/09/2024: A bordo Piscina, l'entrée di tartare di tonno rosso con aromi mediterranei dispone già a una serata scintillante, ingentilita da una briosa bollicina. Ma subito i gusti forti prevalgono con il Tonnarello del Lupo di Mare, col suo mix di cozze sarde e di vongole, calamari e gamberi e chi più ne ha e più ne metta! Alternativa è una Calamarata con ristretto di crostacea semplicemente divina! Tradizione e innovazione si alternano sotto l'occhio vigile di Bruno: lo chef Giampiero trova sempre la giusta dose per accontentare una clientela variegata ed esigente. E allora i Tentacoli di polpo stile gallega e la fragrante Fritturina di paranza ovvero i Gamberi arrosto con limone e basilico restituiscono emozioni, in un agosto caldo ma reso fresco dalla fornita cantina di Bruno.

06/10/2024: Posto pulito e accogliente, qualità del cibo ottima. Purtroppo si paga tanto e le porzioni sono scarse, se fossero un po' più abbondanti si giustificherebbe il prezzo. Un quadratino di ricciola, circa 6 centimetri 22.00 euro

25/05/2025: I had lunch at the Lazio hotel, I didn't stay. The restaurant is one of the best in central Italy...a real delight...in everything....

04/05/2025: great italian food, especially for the truck drivers. Friendly stuff and kind atmosphere. For one person it's about 19 - 20 euro, but you will eat enough and very tasty food. Free parking for the truck drivers, clean toilet for ladys and man's and also shower. Perfect place for truck drivers!

24/05/2025: A terrifying experience. They placed us outside with an absurd wind that came from everywhere. No service except when ordering and billing. Food was average, house wine was terrible (it's still there). If Viterbo is on your map, skip this place. Horrible!

01/06/2025: Togliere was ok, and the pasta was good. We ordered 2 Tagliate and they were practically inedible. We didn't really complain, but having pointed it out I was expecting not to have to pay full price for it. 40+ euros for 2 pieces of awful meat is not ok.

01/06/2025: Cantina dei Papi is a nice place, well-kept both inside and out, located in the historic center, a really convenient location for a pleasant stop. As soon as we arrived we noticed a bit of indecision and incomprehension on the part of the staff in seating us, but once we were seated the experience continued without problems. Excellent cutting board, with quality products, and very good first courses too: in particular, a gricia with bacon from Serie A, but a bit overcooked. The service is average, without particular peaks but still courteous even if they made some mistakes in the orders. The prices are absolutely good, especially considering the central location and the high quality of the raw materials. Ultimately, a place to recommend for those looking for authentic Roman cuisine in a pleasant setting and with a good quality-price ratio.

13/05/2025: Chosen through CashGlobo coupons, at the time of payment, we are made to notice a notice with absolutely arbitrary content with respect to the conditions of purchase of the coupons, which provide the possibility of spending only 3 coupons per table. After an embarrassing negotiation, we manage to spend 6. After sending the complaint to the CashGlobo platform, we were immediately reimbursed for the 5 coupons not accepted, plus a 10% discount on the next purchase and the promise to ask the owner for explanations for the irregular conduct. Too bad, because up until that moment, except for the cold in the very suggestive places, we had also eaten reasonably well. Dear owners, if you want advertising and visibility of your place (among other things 1 hour from Rome) you must accept the CashGlobo coupons that are presented to you... otherwise no one is forcing you to join this program.

09/05/2025: The tables are in a kind of cave so the atmosphere was very good! The service was ordinary, our server when passing our table ignored us each time! The pasta was very correct, the mixed salad very good but no vinegar. The tiramisu was ok

27/04/2025: Small but welcoming place, generous portions, the starter is enough for two, excellent cured meats. The shank is delicious, tasty, you don't need a knife to cut it, it's so tender. The staff were very kind and helpful, the service was very fast (even though there was only one waiter). HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!! We will definitely be back
