23/08/2024: Ero stato in questo ristorante un paio di anni fa e lo trovai anonimo. Oggi ne sono invece un fan convinto e lo consiglio a chiunque voglia passare una piacevole serata a Montalto cenando non bene, benissimo. Probabilmente c è stato un qualche cambiamento che secondo me lo porta ad essere il migliore ristorante della zona. La proposta non è vastissima ma tutti i piatti sia di terra che di mare sono assolutamente curati e "pensati". Ottima l accoglienza , le due ragazze che servono ai tavoli sono eccezionali per cortesia e velocità ed a volte sembrano 4 per come riescono a gestire da sole la sala interna e l esterno. Ottima anche la carta dei vini con etichette importanti da tutta la penisola. Ormai un punto di riferimento

22/07/2024: In questo locale abbiamo mangiato bene, piatti abbondanti ed economici. L’unica pecca è che a differenza degli ospiti locali, in quanto turisti non abbiamo ricevuto proprio la stessa accoglienza.

15/07/2024: Piccolo locale rustico situato in zona panoramica del paese. Menù a scelta fra tre proposte di prezzo. La cucina casareccia e veloce nel servire i piatti. Lo consiglio per chi visita il lago visto la vicinanza con lo stesso.

03/08/2024: Lo sconsiglio in estate, dentro si soffoca nonostante ci siano due condizionatori che, a nostro parere, erano accesi in modalità ventilatore su 28 gradi in una sala e 30 nell'altra. Personale frettoloso. Sul cibo nulla da dire, abbiamo mangiato bene sia il primo che la grigliata. Animali ammessi. Locale a pian terreno, quindi accessibile a sedie a rotelle, onestamente non so la toilette.

07/08/2024: Every two years or so i need to update my review as the place keeps on changing. There have been multiple owners and 'concepts' oer the past 15 years- unfortunately it seems difficult to create a great, sustainable restaurant business here. The place has the best terrace and view in Tuscania. There is no doubt about it. We were here in July '24 and enjoyed the view and the sunset from 8-9pm. Unfortunately they did not offer an a la carte menu but only an 'apero cena', which means a buffet of snacks including 1 drink, for €20 per person. The food was nothing the be exited about. Some fried foods (suppli, rice balls, etc), some cold cuts and cheese, meat balls, focaccia. A few other dishes as well that were forgettable. The drinks were fine, but again, nothing special. I remember 15 years ago when this was the best restaurants in town, with the best view in town. The view hasn't changed, but now it's the kind of experience you do once, take some pics, but you won't come back for return visits. A real shame, as it has so much potential.

07/08/2024: Get your act together otherwise the tourists will all go to Albania for holidays... Terrible food... scandalous portions 6 (not to say we counted them) ravioli x €12... suckling pig two very fat and very thin slices €10 a glass of wine €8 menu displayed is not the same as the one they then offer you at the table... field salad they say but instead of Crai... Don't make fun of people...

24/07/2024: Very nice food, you could tell the pasta was homemade and there were a lot of locals. I liked the sauce and there was a lot of mushrooms too! This place is located in the center of the city and is very cozy.🍝🍄‍🟫

12/08/2024: I stopped last August 11th for lunch during a car trip. I ordered fettuccine with ragu, and I was served a plate of "crumbled" fettuccine where there wasn't even a whole one... I had the clear impression that it was the end of the box with only remnants. the ragù looked like a simple tomato sauce!! I don't understand with what courage someone like that could be forced out of the kitchen!!!! It's a shame because the place is nice and the staff are kind.

31/07/2024: very kind staff and attentive to requests, informal and quiet environment, simple and tasty dishes (excellent rabbit hunter style), we were offered coffee with homemade biscuits

04/08/2024: Excellent room, friendly and professional staff. Very good hotel restaurant. Breakfast with good products, although I would enrich it a little.

27/11/2023: Es war einmal eine richtig gemütliche Pizzeria, hoch auf dem Dach zwischen den Häusern, aber jetzt wurde es verkauft. Damals (noch vor zwei Monaten) gab es leckere Pizzen in vielerlei Auswahl und auch schmackhafte Pasta zu günstigen Preisen zu kaufen, serviert von freundlichen Personen. Das ist vorbei bei den neuen Betreibern. Service Mittel, Pizzen geht so gerade und Preise viel zu hoch. Dazu der schlechteste Wein, den wir jemals in einem italienischen Restaurant getrunken haben. Nie mehr dorthin. Leider. Denn in Canino Zentrum gibt es kein weiteres empfehlenswertes Restaurant.

01/04/2024: Loved it, but strangely, it has no sign outside advertising its existence. Therefore, you need to search for it to find it...

25/02/2024: Customer for 6 years initially everything perfect food and service. Total degradation lately. Slow service, to take reservations you have to reach out to the table, pizzas not worthy of being called that, prices too high for most things. The final straw came when I ordered Dippers potatoes and I received them Sticks and I kindly pointed out the mistake, do you want to know the answer? You have to pay if you want the dippers. THEIR MISTAKE AND I HAVE TO PAY MORE IF I WANT WHAT I ORDERED!!! Another episode... I ask for a sandwich with burrata ham and rocket, after 5 minutes the waitress comes and says "is speck okay instead of ham?" I told her that I could get something else, the waitress' response was "it was just a convenience of the cook" but if on the menu it is with ham I DEMAND it with ham unless it is finished, no because the cook has the "comforts". In conclusion, the service has become truly pitiful, incompetent and presumptuous staff with unrealistic demands. If you want to be treated badly go there. I'm only coming back for the darts!
