11/11/2025: A must-see when you're in Terminillo...really friendly, a wide selection of hot sandwiches, excellent beer, what more could you want? Ambience...rated 3 but...the location is nice, with tables outside and inside in the sun if you want...a helmet rack for motorcyclists inside. The atmosphere is that it's a sandwich shop, but you might not like it...go to the restaurant instead if you have money to spend; it's cheap and good. It's on the road, sure, but during quiet periods, it's quiet, with no cars passing by. Truly a go-to place for a tasty stop. Craft beers.

02/11/2025: I returned to La Trota to celebrate a birthday, and for me it remains the best restaurant in Rieti, where you don't just go for the food but for a true sensory experience. The dishes are sublime in flavor. The autumn dessert of persimmons, chestnuts, and coffee meringues was truly exceptional. Definitely worth a try.

17/11/2025: For several years, when I go to Turano, I've eaten at Vigneto, an excellent restaurant/trattoria. The place is spacious and bright, with plenty of outdoor seating, fast service, extremely friendly staff, and excellent, authentic, traditional local dishes.
It's impossible to say otherwise; the restaurant's regulars, as the reviews show, really appreciate it.

10/11/2025: A last-minute family lunch. We arrived at 2:40 PM and were greeted with great courtesy and professionalism. Both the amatriciana and gricia were wonderful. Excellent service. Chef Gabriele Perilli and the entire staff were incredibly friendly.

10/11/2025: This trattoria was recommended to us for an authentic local meal. Located on a terrace with a magnificent view in a square not far from the entrance to the old town, it offers a wide selection of indoor and outdoor seating, both for lunch and dinner. The kitchen is open late to meet the needs of its clientele. The menu features traditional dishes, featuring quality local artisanal products. The service staff is attentive and friendly.
Unfortunately, we only realized upon our return that we had paid twice for both coffee and dessert: an unpleasant surprise.
28/10/2025: An excellent place to eat well with a view of the Sabine landscape and glimpses of the town.
Homemade, very tasty cuisine.
The lady who served us was very kind and attentive.
We will definitely be back to try other dishes.
Highly recommended!

Quality, quantity, and a family atmosphere. Superlative views. Friendly and helpful staff. Thank you every time we come here; it's impossible not to stop by.
22/09/2025: Trattoria in the countryside, located high above Lake Scandarello - a very green and easygoing atmosphere, a quiet place for a "slow life."
Fast and efficient service, friendly staff. Cool interior, pleasant outdoor tables (with a light breeze) in the shade, near the greenery.
The fried coratella and zucchini were very tasty and plentiful.
Excellent and plentiful homemade ravioli - with meat sauce. Tender and flavorful lamb, very good both in the fried breadcrumb version and in the grilled version.
The mixed roast was a bit dry, not as good as the rest.
Good bill: €69 for three for a full meal (without dessert), including wine.
Fair and fair prices, considering the more than generous portions.

07/10/2025: A delightful restaurant in the center of Rieti. We ordered two first courses and two side dishes, all delicious. They have many vegetarian and vegan options; in fact, one of the main courses we chose was the vegetarian gricia: a plate of very thinly sliced cabbage with plenty of pecorino cheese—truly fantastic! They also have a wide selection of local wines and craft beers (we tried the Treggia, which was excellent).
The restaurant is very elegant and unique, and the jazz background music makes the atmosphere even more pleasant!
