28/07/2026: We really appreciated the uniqueness of this place. There's no set menu, and you won't find the same old dishes offered and re-proposed everywhere else. Instead, they offer a comprehensive selection of traditional dishes, allowing you to sample the flavors that define their cuisine and the area, and in my opinion, this is a strong point. We had lunch outside, served by a very kind and welcoming young woman who immediately put us at ease. All this was surrounded by a pristine and wonderful setting. It was a truly pleasant experience for us, and we'll definitely stop by again if we're in the area again. Thank you!

27/07/2026: The manager (whose name, unfortunately, we don't know) immediately proved rude and unwelcoming: part of the group who had arrived early (with reservations) before lunchtime requested a bottle of water, which was reluctantly granted and without glasses. When we were assigned our table, the aforementioned "grace and kindness" rather rudely pointed out that our dog was too big for her. She probably didn't appreciate the fact that some people consider pets to be like children, not being a big animal lover. It's true, our dog is large, but who knows its behavior and temperament better than its owner? Despite its size, we can assure you that it wouldn't have hindered the service or the customers sitting near our table. In fact, it would have lain down the entire time, unseen or unheard, as has happened in many other restaurants in the area (and elsewhere). The decision to bring the dog was last-minute, which is why advance notice was not given, and we apologize for this, but there are ways and ways to point this out to a PAYING customer. Please note, the head waiter's statement isn't entirely incorrect: it's true, very often dogs or other animals can disturb other customers sitting at nearby tables, some people or children might be scared, etc., etc., but there are ways and ways to point things out, and this was the thing that bothered us the most. My first instinct would have been to leave, which I didn't do out of respect for the other guests (who came with us from Rome and Rieti). Being told, shifting all responsibility onto the other customers, that if there were any complaints from other customers in the restaurant, she would be forced to let us out was yet another lack of courtesy and professionalism, which a head waiter should expect, considering the type of work she does. We reluctantly agreed to sit on the outdoor veranda at the back of the restaurant (and fortunately it didn't rain...). Despite the terrible start, we managed to enjoy a beautiful day in good company and eating excellent local dishes. However, we recommend paying more attention to ordering, and honestly, we expected more consideration (financially speaking) for unwanted dishes and the outdoor seating, left to the elements. I find it truly depressing that in 2026, considering that we are lost in a wonderful mountain setting, surrounded by nature AND ANIMALS (in close proximity to the restaurant itself, with all that entails), problems of this kind arise in the presence of a trained, leashed wolfdog. The restrooms also need a complete overhaul.
