23/02/2025: I am happy to share my review, we were there today for lunch, we booked after reading other positive reviews, we had a great time, very clean environment, excellent and fresh food, impeccable table service, education, kindness on the part of the owner and the lady at the table, of course many, many compliments to the cook. Tournament for sure. Thanks we had a great time. (We paid 35 per person) Top price.

26/01/2025: Truly a surprise. We were there for lunch in January 2025. We eat from a fixed menu with a truly honest price. The owner immediately puts you at ease and takes care of the customer. Nice and attentive. We ate well in a familiar and peaceful environment. There are gluten free solutions and this was truly a very positive note for us who have a celiac child. We will be back.

17/03/2025: Avevamo letto le ottime recensioni su tripadvisor e c’è venuta voglia di pranzare qui, stando a Gaeta per un weekend. L’ambiente ci è piaciuto subito: la sala è bellissima, tutta decorata con figure, rispettivamente di rango elevato nella parte bassa della sala e marinai e gente del popolo in alto. Sembra così davvero di entrare in un teatro un po’ sospeso nel tempo. E di stare per partecipare, da un momento all’altro, ad un evento. La musica bassa, completa la magica sensazione. E che dire del cibo? Eccellente! Difficile consigliare un piatto! Indimenticabili per noi la pasta melanzane e ricciola e il tonno ai porcini. Se aggiungiamo che i proprietari sono davvero ottimi padroni di casa, che dire dí più?

16/11/2024: Location non eccezionale ma tenuta bene e quindi la si rende gradevole. Personale gentile, ottima accoglienza e buona anche l'esposizione di ogni piatto e quindi ottimo servizio. Il cibo è veramente cucinato bene con un ottima materia prima. In generale si mangia benissimo ad un prezzo non esagerato anche se, a voler cercare il pelo nell'uovo, sarebbe più corretto, nel proporre i piatti fuori menù, comunicare anche i prezzi visto che tutti i piatti hanno un costo più alto di quelli presentati sulla carta. Anche il vino "della casa" proposto, un buon rosso piceno, comunque costa 20 euro ma, se non lo chiedi, lo scopri solo alla fine. In definitiva, il locale è consigliatissimo e ci tornerò sicuramente.

16/02/2025: Let me start by saying one thing: it is a barbecue restaurant that should return to focusing on what it knows, meat. Everything else is reviewable. It is not enough to inflate the menu with words which then "on paper" do not correspond to reality. The ravioli filled with cardoncelli and chianina tastes neither of cardoncelli nor of chianina, which in my opinion are absent, and when cut, the presence of an unmentioned vegetable was evident (spinach? Friarelli? Let me know). among other things, the dish included "a light parmesan sauce" as a condiment although it arrived seasoned with a simple tomato sauce, watered down and with the classic hint of excessive acidity from a sauce that was not well drawn. Pork meatball good but too dry. Very good grilled bacon. The only truly worthy note are the bruschetta, although the cooking of the bread can be reviewed because toasting is fine but burning a little less, and the salted caramel dessert, truly excellent. For the rest, although convinced of the superior quality of the Meat raw material which leaves you speechless just by looking at it in the shop window, I would change the cook for the first courses. I would add that from a place that allows itself to offer a glass of wine at exorbitant prices, one expects a global offer worthy of the words used to inflate a menu that is certainly not worth the average expected expense. I won't be returning

11/01/2025: Cena di coppia in questo delizioso bistrot . L’ambiente è accogliente e confortevole , cucina a vista e arredamento stile retró . Personale cortese , ben informato sulle proposte e affidabile nei consigli . Il punto di forza è sicuramente la provenienza locale degli alimenti e il modo in cui vengono trattatati , mantenendo viva la tradizione ma non trascurando l’innovazione culinaria. Super consigliato per una cena in tranquillità .

30/12/2024: You go there and you come back and then you come back and then you come back again and again! Nice setting, lovely staff, great cocktails and good food at very reasonable prices. The tapas formula is perfect for an aperitif, but if you stay and taste something more it becomes a good dinner. Chicken popcorn is a must for children who then, by tasting some tacos or bao, enjoy a good and tasty meal.

26/11/2024: Ci siamo fermati casualmente nella tarda mattinata di venerdì 22 u.s. per sgranchire le gambe e fare una seconda colazione, in viaggio da Roma verso la Campania. Siamo rimasti piacevolmente sorpresi per la bontà e la freschezza dei prodotti di pasticceria e caffetteria nonché per la pulizia dei servizi. Le ragazze al banco cortesi e gentili: complimenti!
