13/08/2026: For us who have had a house in San Felice for 20 years, it is difficult to find a better place than this to enjoy a splendid dinner.
12/08/2026: Having been unable to find a table near the Circeo port, we ended up at this restaurant for fish. It was a disappointing experience. The location was awful, a large room decorated in 1980s style, so chaotic that you couldn't even talk to your neighbors. The fish was good and well-cooked. The portions were small; my scialatielli were just a taste, and I left still hungry. The prices were absolutely excessive; a simple first course like spaghetti with clams costs €25, more than at the restaurants near the port, and in a location like this, it's definitely not worth it. I'm giving it 3 stars only because the fish was fresh, but for me, it's a fail and I won't be returning.

15/07/2026: As soon as we arrived at the restaurant, we received a truly warm welcome. The staff were polite and attentive. The interior dining room was very charming. The food was excellent. We had an appetizer and a first course. They also offered sorbets, delicious homemade biscuits, and a liqueur. I highly recommend this restaurant, and if I ever return to San Felice Circeo, I'd happily dine there again.
11/07/2026: If you want to enjoy authentic seafood, try the Perla Nera restaurant. We had the delicious mussels with pepper and the fresh snapper with potatoes, olives, and cherry tomatoes, both masterfully cooked. Chef Raffaele is very friendly and talented, putting you at ease and recommending the daily specials. Everything is fresh and delicious. We'll be back next weekend to try their other dishes.

05/07/2026: Yesterday we went to this restaurant, which we found by chance. It was one of those dinners we'll never forget, it was so good!!! I think I ate one of the best seafood salads I've ever had. My boyfriend had the raw fish of the day, which was a true explosion of flavor. Everything was delicious! I only regret not taking photos of the dishes, but the presentation was wonderful. The staff was super friendly and truly skilled, congratulations to everyone. We'll definitely be back!

I even had fun resting my penis on the burrata on a customer's pizza with four children,
and then I exclaimed, "Eat my burrata!" The customer, unfortunately, didn't appreciate it very much, but despite that, I enjoyed the food.

10/08/2026: I always love returning to this restaurant! After having already tried the pizza (which was delicious), this time for dinner with friends we ordered fish, and the grilled octopus was simply spectacular.
The waiters are incredibly kind and attentive, always ready to make sure everything is going smoothly. Food and service get top marks!

05/08/2026: I've been a customer at Trattoria Il Grottino for almost 20 years now, and I can assure you that I've always had good food.
The food is excellent, and the service is courteous and attentive. The experience and friendliness of Marina and Federico, the restaurant's owners, complete the overall image of the establishment.
The restaurant definitely deserves an excellent rating.
02/08/2026: We loved this traditional trattoria for its amazing fresh seafood, atmosphere and setting in the centro storico. The owners said it has been in their family for 3 generations and it seems like a well loved local. We booked ahead and our family were seated promptly but there were people queuing later on in the evening.

03/08/2026: The restaurant itself is decent, despite the tables being on a slope. The problem is the service; they made us wait an hour for our starters, and the food was poor. The prices are really, really high. The person taking our order got it wrong about three times. A truly terrible experience, not to be repeated.
03/08/2026: Sloping tables, for five appetizers and five entrees, the fish of which was worse than the all-you-can-eat sushi on the top list of the NAS, and a dessert, we paid €300. The waiter definitely needed a hearing aid (no offense to the deaf, who would have surely gotten a better order), he got the order wrong three times, endless waits, pure disorganization. Now I understand why people would rather wait for a seat at the restaurant next door than eat at this place. Never again.

L'approdo di augusto

20/07/2025: La posizione del locale è molto bella, si mangia in giardino di fronte al mare. Purtroppo il lato positivo è solo questo. Cibo di media qualità, piatti del giorno segnalati a voce con sorpresa del prezzo al momento di pagare il conto. Servizio poco attento, ordinati polipetti al sugo e portati pezzi di polipo gigante con pane bruscato talmente duro da non potersi mangiare.
Va aggiunto che tra i tavoli si aggira un gatto gigante che tenta di avventarsi sui piatti di pesce incursnte dei richiami dei camerieri, e che api e mosche la fanno da padrone costringendo i commensali a una lotta continua.
Un vero peccato. Cena rovinata ed esperienza da non ripetere.

Ristorante con tavoli in giardino sotto Torre Paola; location unica. Pesce buonissimo, ma anche la pizza merita!
Consigliato per chi non bada al conto
