14/09/2025: I went to this restaurant last night. It's a very nice place and is located in the historic center of Terracina, in a charming spot just behind the cathedral and the Emilian Forum. The experience was excellent. The staff is friendly, and the host is a charming and original character. The food is excellent. The set menu allows you to try many excellent dishes at a very competitive price. I'll be back soon. It will be a must-try.

25/04/2026: We realized we were the only ones who hadn't heard of this restaurant yet. Perhaps because we frequent the Scauri area often, but only in the winter, we were more focused on seafood restaurants. However, the atmosphere is nice, like an Umbrian restaurant not far from Naples. Reservations are obviously recommended, especially on weekends. P.S.: Fast service, professionalism, and kindness, which aren't always a given in local restaurants. A special thanks to the ladies in the dining room, old-fashioned workers. 18/12/2025: A quaint and welcoming restaurant in the village of Maranola, perfect for enjoying Italian and Mediterranean cuisine with local ingredients and well-prepared dishes. Generous appetizers, quality first and second courses with traditional flavors. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful, the rustic atmosphere is truly special, and the quality/price ratio is excellent. Reservations are recommended as seating is limited!

15/12/2025: I’m glad the search for lunch brought us up. The setting is beautiful. Just remember not to follow GPS the last 3 min up the steep and narrow slope but continue on the road with a left turn to public parking. The restaurant was very welcoming and super attentive in their service. We ordered the steak, pork chop and fettuccine with porcini, side vegetables with house red. Portions were generous and we liked best the side dish of mushroom/pumpkin/celeraic which was served cold. The steak was very well prepared as was the perfectly al dente fettucine. Pork chop could have been more moist with more Wish we had got a proper bottle instead of house as it seemed to have not been properly stored. But for the price of 5 euros one really cannot complain! Otherwise a very excellent meal. Wish we had more stomach for dessert as we wanted to try the house made tiramisu and cheesecake. Thank you for a good memory Osteria Castello 43!

16/03/2026: I didn't eat badly, but I think that for half a portion of mussel sauté, 350g of swordfish (written on the bill), half a portion of side dish (an artichoke), a crème caramel and a bottle of water... I write half a portion, because their quantities are half of normal portions, €50,000 seems too much to me.

17/09/2025: I wanted to review this beautiful place, a neat, clean establishment with a truly creative style. My friends and I, on a trip from Ostia, strolled past the place and were immediately greeted enthusiastically by the staff, who told us about the area and encouraged us to visit. The owners are very friendly, helpful, and incredibly kind. We enjoyed delicious coffee and various pastries. We had such a great time that we returned several times throughout the day, especially for a delicious aperitivo and a chat at sunset after paragliding. Anyone in the area should definitely stop by this place... we'll definitely be back. Thanks again for your hospitality.

27/10/2025: We waited almost an hour for the waiter to bring water and take our order... the appetizer was meager (1 piece each). The meat was as good as you'll find anywhere else, especially since the price is reasonable for the food... I expected much better from the reviews I'd read!! It's definitely not a place I recommend.
