07/03/2025: The tortellini most faithful to the ones I ate 50 years ago... homemade by my mother... eaten pure oil and parmesan to savor the excellent filling.

01/12/2025: I can't comment on the food because we didn't even eat. We politely walked in to ask if there was a table available and were practically kicked out, saying there was no room. THE PLACE WAS ALMOST EMPTY and THEY DIDN'T ACCEPT RESERVATIONS. We asked if we could at least reserve a table for a later hour and were told it wasn't possible as they didn't accept reservations. There are many ways to do it, but I wouldn't eat there just because of the rudeness.

04/11/2025: It was our first day so we decided to have dinner a little earlier than is traditional for the city. The proprietor was super friendly and we had a lovely chat. The food was terrific. Everything was perfectly cooked and the sour cherry crostata was amazing! If you're in Rome, make a point of eating here.

12/10/2025: We booked late, at 9:30 PM, and the owner greeted us with a smile and a warm welcome. The meat was exceptional, with a wide selection, and the appetizers and side dishes were also very good. The price was exceptional for the quality of the food! I highly recommend it and hope to return when I'm back in Fiuggi!

24/09/2025: I went there on a Saturday for dinner. The line was endless, staff were sparse, and the wait to be served was incredibly long. Perhaps it's quieter on weekdays, and with the staff they have, they can better serve customers. 🤔🤔🤔

09/11/2025: It's always a pleasure to have a reliable point of reference like this!!!! Lots of dishes, including non-Roman cuisine, just steps from the Vatican. Reservations are practically a must.

08/11/2025: We had some amazing pasta at the front of the table—it was delicious! The service was excellent, and the place was lovely, away from the hustle and bustle. The prices are very reasonable for the area! The pasta was €13, which is a good price for the area. In most places in Italy, they charge a €2 per person service charge.

17/10/2025: I often eat at Il Cilento, a neighborhood diner, with a friend of mine, and we always choose this place primarily for the kindness and friendliness of Mario, the guy who works there. He's truly polite, helpful, and always smiling. It's rare to find people who work with such a smile and courtesy these days, and he always manages to make customers feel at ease. Highly recommended for the welcoming atmosphere it helps create and the excellent food!

26/11/2025: Tuesday, November 25 A friend of mine and I went to this restaurant before visiting the Vatican Museums, drawn by the undeniable beauty of the place and the positive reviews, which I can now define as QUESTIONABLE. I have to disagree with the quality of the food here: we both ordered pasta all'amatriciana, and besides not being good (since it was clearly made with canned tomatoes, burnt guanciale, and pecorino cheese), the ingredients were completely unrelated. Added to this was the unfortunate fact that we found a hair in one of our plates. At this point, we alerted the waitress, who, after looking at us with a dubious expression, told us that the chefs in the kitchen don't have hair and that she didn't know how that hair ended up on our plate. I recommend changing your answer because responding to a customer in this way is tantamount to questioning their credibility, as if the goal were to avoid paying the bill. Afterwards, they offered to bring us a supplì, which was disappointing as well, as it was cold (the cheese inside hadn't even melted). To conclude, on top of the knowledge of a disappointing meal, you're left with a hefty bill and a discount of only €2. If you're looking for a place to eat traditional dishes, and above all, good ones, I'd advise you look elsewhere.

02/11/2025: Very refined, rustic and elegant atmosphere, excellent and abundant starters and first courses, I haven't tried the meats, but if the morning is a good indicator of the day I imagine they will be exquisite.

01/11/2025: A terrible embarrassment at my father's 70th birthday. A cake ordered in advance for 15 people. A Saint Honoré. My mother goes to pick it up and finds it small, not to mention the fact that they made her wait several minutes before picking it up (so very suspicious). As soon as it was delivered, my mother looks at it and begins to doubt whether the cake was really small. The lady at the counter even jokes, "Should you take it home or to a restaurant?", telling her that at the latter they make the portions even smaller than normal. She also wanted to write something funny and wrote something peculiar, but the lady dismisses her with a "Happy Birthday"... Despite the waiter doing his best to make the portions very small, my two uncles were left without a cake. A disgraceful embarrassment. Luckily, the restaurant owner realized in advance that the cake was too small and ordered an extra cake to serve to the people who were left without any. I say, who asked you to make it smaller than normal? In fact, they usually tend to overdo it. We would have paid what was necessary; no one had asked for something that was cheap or limited in price. Furthermore, when we booked, no one told my mother that they didn't know how to make a Saint Honoré, because that was anything but a Saint Honoré. The Saint Honoré has several layers, alternating between puff pastry and mille-feuille, with a cream puff decoration. There was no trace of puff pastry. The cake was all soaked sponge cake that turned into a shapeless mush made only of cream. I'm not giving it a star only because the cream was fresh in the end (at least that's what it was, but it was the only sour note on this cake on a perfect day). Let's forget it. Never again.

15/11/2025: Good restaurant. Given its location, it might not have to work too hard to get customers; good, but could do better.

03/11/2025: Sea view, generous portions, and a delicious mix. It's hard to find fault. The prices are absolutely competitive. We'll definitely be back. Highly recommended.

13/11/2025: This is my second time eating at this restaurant. The staff is incredibly friendly, the owner is approachable, and the food is delicious. Highly recommended if you want to eat well, spend a fair amount, and be carefree. It's now become our go-to place for fresh fish.

19/09/2025: It's a decent restaurant. The food is okay, but nothing more. There are seafood restaurants nearby that serve better food. I wouldn't go there again.
