Recommended trattoria.
The carbonara is among the best in Rome (and the cacio e pepe is also excellent).
The entrecote is tender, well-cooked, and flavorful.
Very fair prices.

Excellent Roman cuisine for lovers of traditional Roman recipes. From appetizers to main courses, everything was truly Roman! Quality meats and fresh, well-prepared vegetables. We sampled two first courses and two second courses. We saw the various awards for the carbonara, but unfortunately, we didn't try it, choosing something else instead. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable, and attentive to food intolerances. The only thing, aside from the fair prices for appetizers and first courses, was the prices for the meat-based second courses (19-22 euros). In short, we ended up spending around 40 euros per person with just one glass of wine and one water (two first courses, two second courses, and one sorbet). OK with the fork discount, but not a bit excessive, perhaps for an "out-of-town" trattoria, but recommended for lovers of authentic Roman cuisine.

I had a great time. I'd like to see more pasta shapes available, but otherwise, I think it's a traditional, welcoming place that's easily accessible on foot! I'll definitely be back soon!

A genuine osteria, recommended for those who love Roman cuisine. The Amatriciana and Gricia are good, but the pasta with oxtail sauce is a bit bland and could be improved. The boiled meatballs and picchiapo' are very good. Reasonable prices.

I dined at this Hosteria for the first time. What a great discovery! I had an appetizer of cured meats and cheeses, the latter with wonderful flavor. Then came a pork shank with a delicious sauce and baked potatoes... Followed by a Roman-style artichoke.
What can I say? A wonderful little Roman restaurant.
I'll definitely return and try the carbonara!

The wait was quite long, an hour for the first courses, which arrived 10-15 minutes apart, despite there being three of us with two identical dishes. The pacchero alla coda was rather bland, and the pasta was generally not al dente at all. The suppli were delicious.

Everything was really good, and the carbonara was super creamy. Piccata-style stew...mmmm. More than generous portions. Highly recommended.
