11/02/2025: Good evening to all readers/reviewers and the venue staff. Let me start by saying that we went to this restaurant for the first time and on the advice/suggestion of a person we had just met. Entering inside, the place is more or less acceptable, not pretentious. When sitting, the seating surface of the chairs is very and/or too low, mostly and especially for those who are tall and not so comfortable, with the backrest tilted too far back... the tables are equally low on average, but compared to the chairs, they have an uncomfortable support surface, due to the small difference in space between the chair and the space underneath the table itself. Such long tablecloths that cover and hang down the tables, and then rest generously on the restaurant floor, are annoying and a hindrance for legs and feet. And precisely with regard to the wooden tables, the conditions in which they are found, under the tablecloths, and in full view of the customers present in the room, when two of them have been divided and prepared on the spot... ehmmm, I won't say anything else!! A positive note, however, is the ceiling with large wooden beams and terracotta tiles. Returning to the negative notes, one of us diners, opening his white cloth napkin, was shocked by a round hole of about 2 centimeters in it!! Moving on to the order: 1) in a common and normal restaurant, such as this one but as in any other, we simply and only asked for the menu (i.e. a basic thing, nothing special or complex), we were told that there is only one menu for everyone...among other things, in the only menu available, the allergens are not indicated and present, as well as what of the foods administered, which are frozen/frozen and what is fresh!! 2) regarding the dishes, I only write what was "acceptable and edible", i.e. the cod & potato balls, the oysters and the calamari rings... for all the other courses, it is better that I reserve the right to comment on anything... except that, in the kitchen, the care for the choice of the quality of the raw materials and the attention in the preparation of the food, all to "pamper" the customers, must be a moral duty, as well as a pleasure, a desire and desire to always do the best, also for one's own personal and professional satisfaction. And last but not least, the topic of room service, always to stay on the subject of ability and competence... it almost totally lacks professionalism, seriousness, love, dedication and passion for the work, attention and availability for the diners, being at their service... and the services are and are also paid handsomely. And here too, I won't go into the long list of detailed gaps and problems. If the money that is rightly paid is good/excellent...the food, the service and the environment must be equally good!!️ Having written this, we thank and greet, however cordially, all the staff of the "La Quercia" restaurant in Lariano, but unfortunately we will never return there again, given the disappointing experience mentioned above.

23/01/2025: You have to take a number when you arrive, and there’s a reason. There’s a line out the door, and it’s all Italian. The servers don’t speak English, but the service is friendly. Great pizza, and in hindsight I should have tried one of the pastries. A wonderful discovery in Rome!

22/02/2025: Went there during my cruise vacation in Barcelona. There’s a line with QR code at the front for you to add your party on the list. They will text you once it’s your turn and I saw that they always had a line at the front. The entrance look like a supermarket but once You got in it’s a different world. The front part was the bar area and the back was more like a club with another bar. The club part tended to attract a younger crowd and for people who didn’t have a reservation. It’s totally 2 different vibes. I preferred the front bar area and if You got a chance to sit at the bar it’s even better. You can get a better bar experience with a better quality cocktails. 27/01/2025: Good fine Roman pizza, excellent prices, pizza starts from €6 and up, I was very surprised by the arrosticino with mutton which was better than many other places specializing in kebabs, I recommend beer lovers to try the lager on tap, it's spectacular.

23/02/2025: Io e la mia ragazza questa sera abbiamo cenato al Gufo e la Coccinella. L'ambiente è calmo e amichevole, il proprietario gentilissimo. I piatti che abbiamo ordinato mi hanno stupito per qualità delle materie prime, cura e sapore, che mi ha ricordato casa e mi ha fatto sentire bene. Le porzioni sono importanti e i piatti buonissimi. Abbiamo mangiato come antipasti due bruschette e una mozzarella di Mondragone con prosciutto (di qualità), accompagnata dalla focaccia. Ci tengo a precisare che i patè presenti sulle bruschette erano chiaramente fatti in casa o comunque lavorati in loco, buonissimo quello di pomodori secchi. Abbiamo scelto di prendere due primi, spaghettoni alla carbonara e mezze maniche alla norma. Mai mi sarei aspettato una qualità tale, non ci sono molte parole per descrivere i piatti se non "Buoni, rustici e curati", oltre ad essere belli abbondanti! Abbiamo accompagnato il tutto con due calici di vino rosso, il locale ha un ottima varietà e scelta di vini. Abbiamo concluso la cena con il Tiramisù completamente fatto in casa (Savoiardi compresi) e una torta al cioccolato, pere e peperoncino accompagnata dalla panna. Vi assicuro che pur essendo pieno ne è valsa la pena. La torta era sofficissima, leggera ed ancora calda. Il Tiramisù era uno dei migliori da me provati. Il menù del locale offre tanti piatti della tradizione romana, oltre a delle chicche originali che mi hanno ispirato molto (Sopratutto i piatti della giornata). Concludo dicendo che ho già consigliato il locale a mio padre, io ci porterò qualche amico per fare bella figura, andateci che merita tantissimo!

01/01/2025: Sono stato in questa trattoria con un gruppo di 46 persone. Con la gentilissima signora Paola avevo concordato un menù a €25,00 composto da: gnocchi con sugo di costine e cardoncelli, arista ripiena di verdure di stagione, contorno di patate, dolcetti della casa, acqua, vino e caffè. Cibo e servizio ottimi.

Mixed starter ok, nothing special, first courses not good (tagliolini with salty white ragù, bland scialatielli with pumpkin and scialatielli with overcooked egg sauce). The meat is good. Price too high for how and what we ate.

09/02/2025: Un posto familiare e ideale per una pizza napoletana in compagnia di amici all'isola pedonale, location che ti permette anche una bella passeggiata a due passi dal pontile! Il menu ha una buona varietà di scelta oltre la pizza, primi e secondi di pesce, l'unica cosa che manca sono i secondi di carne, noi abbiamo optato per la pizza. Io personalmente ho preso come antipasto la pizzetta “montanara” e vi assicuro che è da 10 e una classica pizza margherita. Ottima varietà di pizze dalle classiche napoletane con il bordo alto, Margherita, Napoli e Marinara e altre varietà, come la bresaola e la quattro stagioni. Ottimo e veloce il servizio, il cameriere simpaticissimo non prende nota della comanda sul taccuino o sul tablet, si ricorda tutto a memoria e non ne sbaglia una, inoltre, quando riporta i piatti al tavolo non ha nessuna incertezza nell’associare ogni piatto ordinato ai commensali, disponibilissimo anche ad assecondare piccole variazioni sulle pizze ordinate (pizza marinara con o senza aglio o con l’aggiunta di verdure). Nota di merito per i dolci classici napoletani, babà, delizia al limone, pastiera e non solo, buono anche il classico tiramisù. Prezzo ancora popolare meno di 20 euro a persona con il dolce da condividere. Ultimo ma non meno importante servizi igienici puliti!

18/02/2025: Delicious dinner with a first course with pears, radicchio and gorgonzola, truly special. The softest and tastiest cut I've eaten in a long time, high quality meat. Delicious baked potatoes and the wine by the glass wasn't bad either. Helpful, friendly staff and fast service. Highly recommended, I will happily return to try the rest of the menu 😁

03/02/2025: Ampio locale con portico coperto e riscaldato in inverno. Buona la pizza come pure le pappardelle al cinghiale e gli altri primi piatti più classici, buona anche la carne specialmente se cotta alla brace. Buon assortimento di dolci. Prezzi nella media. Consigliabile prenotare nel fine settimana.

29/01/2025: Excellent experience in this restaurant located on a hill in the Anguillara area. The choice of making an entire roof with windows that can be opened on the balcony side is very apt, so they manage to let in a lot of light but above all let customers eat while they look at the greenery of the hill We started with a classic appetizer of cured meats and bruschetta and then continued with first courses including pappardelle with wild boar, fettuccine with porcini mushrooms and tonnarelli all'amatriciana. All very good and tasty!! For the second course we had a grilled mix and some kebabs; just the beef steak overcooked but everything else good and tasty!! Including baked potatoes!! Really good desserts! I tried the chocolate cake which I highly recommend!! Recommended ++
