Interesting dinner. Original, well-crafted dishes with excellent ingredients. Fast, organized, and courteous service. Only flaw: a bit noisy. I'll be back, though, because it's worth it.

A friendly and delicious osteria in the African Quarter, on Via Gadames. There's not much seating, but a few tables outside. Friendly, fast, and professional service. A good wine list. We had delicious baked porcini mushrooms: well-cooked and flavorful; sea bass fillet, lemon-cured green beans, and an olive and orange sauce: a delicate and balanced dish. Recommended.

We loved this little local place! The food was terrific- the wine recommendation was perfect (and was also a good price)! And the staff were super kind. Would definitely recommend for an easy lovely dinner.

My wife and I were staying nearby and found this wonderful spot. The food was delicious but this is Rome, it’s always delicious. But we could tell this was was special. The food was so carefully and thoughtfully done with love. The chef, Shelly I believe, has ties to New York and so we asked her a million questions and she gratiously answered. Her Husband Daniele was an absolute gentleman. Great food and a wine store (with regular classes/tastings) next door. Absolutely recommend this gem! And was talking to a local a few days ago and asked her what her favorite spot was and she said here too! Coincidence perhaps but maybe it’s because it is that good!

It's like living in a dream! The highest quality ingredients, prepared by a talented and friendly chef, are complemented by the polite and courteous staff. The paccheri stuffed with snapper, served in transparent paper, are indescribable: they simply have to be tried!

A restaurant inside a wine bar with an excellent wine list. Tried it for lunch with local colleagues. The food is excellent and high-quality. We had spaghetti aglio olio and a hamburger with fries for lunch. It's usually best to book in advance as the place isn't particularly large. I highly recommend it.

08/08/2026: A restaurant that breaks the mold of its traditional definition. Some come for aperitifs, some for dinner, and some for an after-dinner drink, including herbal teas and conversation. I loved it. We dined outside on the lovely terrace, which offers a beautiful view and a decidedly refreshing breeze. The food is excellent and well-prepared. The staff is exceptionally kind. They are polite and always smiling. It's a pleasure. What can I say, a truly pleasant experience, one worth repeating. Well done. The only small flaw is that if you happen to be sitting at a table directly under the speakers, it becomes a bit difficult to communicate. This flaw, however, is overcome by the kind staff, who turned down the volume at our request.
02/08/2026: We had a wonderful time here! The terrace is magnificent, with breathtaking views and a stunning sunset over Rome. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, with statues and rustic decorations. As for the food, the pasta (a generous carbonara) was excellent, and the Aperol Spritz was perfectly balanced. The service was friendly and attentive. Very good value for money. We'll definitely be back!

13/08/2026: We returned after many years—too many, actually—and the place has remained the same, authentic, home-cooked food, excellent ingredients, and more than fair prices. The staff is always friendly, and the wait may seem long, but it's worth it. We'll definitely be back soon.
12/08/2026: We went for lunch today after a day trip. The place was very welcoming and homey, and the staff was very friendly and fast. We had tomato bruschetta as an appetizer, which was truly delicious. For starters, we had pappardelle with mutton sauce, 3 pappardelle with a simple sauce, and fettuccine with ragù... everything was excellent, and the sauces were fabulous! Then the kids had potatoes, and we had a portion of sautéed chicory, which were also delicious. To finish off, we had dessert... a lovely slice of chocolate and coconut cake. Everything was truly delicious.
