24/02/2025: Discovered by chance, owner and waiters super attentive, scrupulous and fast. We ate fish! Optimal. Next time I'll try pizza or sandwiches.

09/04/2025: We found out about this restaurant by chance, searching on the Internet. We really had a great time, very nice location, passing through an alley you find the very suggestive veranda, overlooking the railway but in our opinion in the evening it is very particular and characteristic, speaking with Gianluca one of the owners that place has been there since the 1940s. For the food we took the aubergine meatballs which were spectacular, a focaccia (and brought some very good oil from them to accompany the focaccia) a good amatriciana, but the cacio e Pepe for personal taste was stratospheric (I did it again). Average prices considering the quality of the products. Service, hospitable, kind, polite and also approachable. It was a pleasure to discover this restaurant, thank you, see you soon.

07/04/2025: Despite the limited choice of starters, they are excellently prepared. The environment is refined and familiar, the service perhaps even too attentive to the customer. I appreciated the wide selection of wines and craft beers.

16/03/2025: Perfect little restaurant for Sunday lunch by the sea, overlooking the dock with tables outside. Cozy atmosphere and casual enough service. The first courses and the raw appetizer are excellent, the tiramisu is delicious. Good value for money, the only flaw could be the parking but if you are lucky there is an open space right in front where there is free parking.

26/03/2025: I returned to the Hotel Massimo D'Azeglio after fifty years and had a truly touching experience. Finding this place, full of memories, was like hugging an old friend again. What struck me most was the welcome, which has remained unchanged over time: authentic, warm and attentive to every detail. The staff, with their kindness and professionalism, manages to make every guest feel special, just as they did back then. The atmosphere of the hotel retains its historical charm intact, a perfect balance between classic elegance and modern comfort. The attention to detail, impeccable cleanliness and the quality of service make your stay a real pleasure. Another element that I found with great pleasure is the restaurant, which maintains the same level of excellence as in the past. The quality of the dishes, the care in preparation and the impeccable service make it a gastronomic experience not to be missed, just like then.

26/03/2025: Invitato per un pranzo tra amici, ho nuovamente visitato questo storico Ristorante romano dove la storia e la cucina si fondono creando una atmosfera realmente di ‘altri tempi’. Il menù ben descritto ci ha tutti indirizzati verso una entrata di Carciofi alla romana, deliziosi. Affidandomi poi alle origini della Famiglia Bettoia ho scelto un Risotto alla piemontese, buonissimo, e per finire una torta alla Bonnet anch’essa buonissima. Il Personale discreto, efficiente come si addice ad un Locale di alto livello! Complimenti !

18/02/2025: I wanted to try this well-known and historic pizzeria restaurant and I was very impressed with both the layout of the internal room, the products used and the parking in front (even if after the rains and in the evening it becomes a quagmire of mud and without lighting). Management via new generation devices, very frenetic operators to serve adequately, also because the weekend is very busy. Environment for all ages, comfortable both for a simple pizza or dinner and to be taken into consideration for an event. Called for reservation and collection on site, minimal waiting, even if little space for waiting which hinders the passages between the tables and waiters (cash desk or reception in the center of the room not suitable for carrying out). I chose a pizza (Ciccio) with additions, 2 small orange drinks (because the large bottle was not available) and a dessert to try the Tiramisu (with a very liqueur flavour), cost within €20

19/01/2025: Per il mio compleanno con i familiari, volevamo mangiare pesce e ci siamo tolti grandemente lo sfizio: leggendo il menù chiedo cosa fosse fresco e cosa magari surgelato, tutto solo fresco, quello che vorresti che ti rispondessero sempre. Che bell'inizio. Locale piccolo e carino, accogliente, e il servizio delle ragazze in sala è stato semplicemente ottimo, come pure la velocità nel servirti. Iniziamo con gli antipasti di mare, assolutamente deliziosi, la tentazione era di fare un secondo giro; un tagliolino agli scampi che definirei come minimo speciale, e finalmente grigliate miste con tutto super fresco e buono, solo io provo un'orata in acqua pazza per avere anche altro da verificare, delicata e molto buona. Un vermentino sardo piacevolissimo e conto più che equilibrato, veramente un piacere dall'inizio alla fine. Ai Castelli per mangiare il pesce? ma certo che si, ormai diventano il mio punto di riferimento.

We loved everything, from the attention to detail in the environment to the food which to define as exquisite would be an understatement. It's a shame we only discovered it on the last night because we probably would have eaten here at any time Well done!

30/03/2025: Very fresh fish and well-designed dishes: the 5-course menu recommended by the chef is an excellent choice! From appetizer to dessert, everything highlights the quality of the raw materials. We started with a cuttlefish tagliatelle with scamorza, dried tomatoes and BBQ sauce, followed by two spectacular first courses: scallop ravioli and cod on a cream of carrots and curry with balanced flavors. And then the desserts, the real surprise: popcorn and caramel and a truly delicious vanilla and berry bavarois. Attentive service and welcoming atmosphere. Highly recommended!

08/04/2025: Really good carbonara!! The excellent meat is definitely worth coming back too, and as a starter buffalo with exceptional raw meat, all fresh, good value for money! good portioned dishes. I recommend everyone to try the meat and carbonare, equally good pizza!

22/03/2025: Very pleasant experience.. traditional cuisine rich in variety and above all everything fresh genuine cooked to perfection.. from appetizers to dessert everything delicious.. there was not a course that was not more than good... we were 9 friends and we were all satisfied.. quality and price in line... modest but clean environment... fast service and kind staff.. personally I will return with my children and grandchildren.. highly recommended!!!

Plus the owner Luisa, a really nice and easy-going person. Congratulations and thanks again for the (homemade) liqueur kindly offered! Very good. We will definitely be back next time 🤗
