13/09/2025: Typical Italian place, food is more than amazing. Everything is so delicious that you keep eating. Staff is attentive and always ready to help. There are also canapés going around to give you an extra taste of freshly cooked food. 😍Cannot recommend more

12/10/2025: All the reviews are 100% accurate. Food is AMAZING. Service is a bit slow, but, you eating an amazing meal in Rome...go slow and enjoy. Our server was very patient with us (and was really great about apologizing about the slow service. ) It totally is worth the wait and you will enjoy every bite. Most importantly, leave room for the caramel-cheesecake dessert! Amazing! Don't miss Margot on your trip to Rome!

13/08/2025: I picked this restaurant for a romantic dinner with my wife. Beautiful view, promising start — what could go wrong? We ordered tartare, pasta with the fish of the day, and a couple of glasses of wine. Tartare came quickly, pasta… well, apparently it was being caught, cleaned, and educated in fine dining before arriving at our table — 45 minutes later. By then the restaurant was almost empty, so I asked for the bill. Ten minutes later (yes, later), the pasta finally appeared. I politely declined, explaining that I don’t eat pasta after 10 p.m. and certainly not after waiting nearly an hour. Instead of an apology, the waiter decided to give me a cultural masterclass on “how pasta is eaten in Italy,” with a subtle implication that I’m from some culinary backwater where we eat wrong. Romantic evening successfully ruined. If you’re into long waits, unsolicited lectures, and a side of condescension — this is your spot. Otherwise, save your time and appetite.

22/09/2025: Beautiful experience and excellent food and wines with a highly trained staff and manager excellent for quality and value for money. Fast and precise service, always better, with always new labels, wines, beers, rums etc. and also the menu with new dishes, bruschetta and desserts.

12/09/2025: The place is cute, very small with limited seating. The wine selection is really good, including some unusual labels. The food quality is more than good. We personally only tried a charcuterie and cheese platter and some bruschetta. Overall, a great option for a nice aperitivo.

23/09/2025: We went to the restaurant with our baby and had a stroller. The restaurant staff kindly helped us find a suitable place to sit. The menu is full of a variety of items. We ordered pizza, carbonara pasta, french fries, beer, and a few other things. Everything was absolutely amazing, cooked with skill and expertise, and all of it was of very high quality. I think it's one of the best restaurants in the northeast of Rome. We went to the restaurant on a Sunday, and because we went at a good time, we got a table. Otherwise, we would definitely have had to wait. Be sure to check if you need to reserve a table. It's a great experience.

16/09/2025: Lovely little village. Affordable but high-quality restaurant. First courses are cooked like they used to be, including delicious homemade pasta. The main courses and side dishes are also very good. The owner is very friendly and helpful. The atmosphere is family-friendly. The prices are excellent. We'll be happy to return.

12/09/2025: We ate in this beautiful little village; we were recommended this little restaurant, and I must say it was spot on. Local cured meats and cheeses, well-made first courses, delicious meat-based second courses, and the lamb was worthy of applause. The owner was kind and welcoming. If I may, the wild boar pappardelle had cream.

06/10/2025: Hi, we went to dinner last night and ordered two pizzas, one four cheese and one potato and sausage. Both were white because we wanted two Margheritas, but we were told the tomato sauce was out. However, when we left, we noticed the waiter had served a Margherita. I didn't want to ask for an explanation. The pizzas were good, the dough was good, but it's a shame that mine (potato and sausage) had a lot of oil. The place is very nice and well-kept, and the staff were kind and welcoming.

10/09/2025: The food was freshly made, and delicious. The place has seating for small and larger parties. They have a good selection of wines, and offer also beer and soda, and other cocktails. Service was very polite and prompt. Best part is that they work from 11AM to 11PM non-stop.

11/09/2025: Relaxed atmosphere in a beautiful and welcoming setting. Service is attentive and professional, but never over the top. Creative cuisine without excess, with a solid and confident touch, for an experience definitely worth trying. Prices are in line with the city's Michelin-starred restaurants, although the wine markup is perhaps excessive.

07/09/2025: The historic "Chiodo Fisso" restaurant has refocused its cuisine: Sardinian, with a few local touches, and pizza. The welcome is warm, and the space is relatively quiet. The occupied tables were far away and behind our seating area. We ordered for three: two cones of fried artichoke hearts, one gnocchetti malloreddus, a baked sea bass in a potato crust (excellently executed), a fried calamari, a saedas, a focaccia, and an excellent Vermentino. They were also very accommodating with the doggie bag service, thanks to the generous portions. I only gave 4 stars for the food because it could be improved and refined (too much flour on the fried artichokes made them heavy, for example), but overall, the quality was good. The price was reasonable (€40 each). We'll be back.

10/09/2025: The price of the bill varies depending on who happens to be at the cash register. The table service is done by delightful people. The rest seems moody, depending on who's running the day. Basically, it's not a cheap place that shouldn't allow these fluctuations, even in the quality of the food. Too bad.
