26/08/2025: Personally, I had a good time. Nice place, a bit of an old-fashioned trattoria, and the staff was friendly and efficient. The pizza is very thin, true, but good. The toppings are adequate and good. The fried foods were good. We went on a Saturday night...a little crowded and noisy...but bearable for me. There's an outdoor area where you can relax and enjoy a nice aperitif. They have good beers. Reasonable prices. As I always say...this is my opinion.

20/08/2025: Too bad. I was there for the first time in July, and everything was excellent, nothing to complain about. This evening was a tragedy: we sat down at 8:30 PM (as per our telephone reservation made on MONDAY), but after complaining, we ate our pizzas at around 9:45 PM. Furthermore, a gentleman came to our table—I don't know if he was the owner or someone else—and, in a threatening tone, complained that we had asked the wait staff a couple of times how long it would take to get these pizzas. Furthermore, the tone in which he kept claiming that he had told those who had booked that since there were large groups we had to come earlier was very annoying and unpleasant. First of all, I was NOT TOLD ANYTHING. The fact that there are groups is not the customer's problem, and it's not that I have to come at 7 to eat pizza because you have tables for 30 people. So, dear gentleman, who didn't even show up, this is not the way to do business. One less customer due to your arrogance and rudeness.

12/10/2025: Beautiful setting and ample parking, but the portions and maintenance of the grounds could be improved. ​Il Castellaccio is a location that offers undeniable logistical advantages. The very large parking lot is an exceptional strength, making access extremely convenient. Furthermore, the service was attentive and professional. ​However, the rating is limited to 4 stars due to some critical issues. First, the grounds, although extensive, needed greater care and attention in the management and pruning of the plants. The small plates left on the ground for "beautification" were a constant hazard for children who are very distracted while playing. ​The second aspect concerns the culinary experience: while the quality was good as always, we noticed that the portions of the dishes were not particularly generous. This left us feeling dissatisfied, as we had hoped for greater generosity. The flavors (in my experience) were just right. In short, the facility has great potential, highlighted by the service and convenient parking. To reach a higher level, greater effort is needed in exterior aesthetic maintenance and, above all, a better balance between the quality and quantity of the dishes served. This is my opinion.

29/09/2025: We celebrated my son's first communion lunch at this beautiful restaurant yesterday, Sunday, September 28th. Everything was perfect: from the aperitif, held in the beautiful and meticulously maintained, elegant, and slightly shabby chic garden, to the lunch inside the restaurant. The owner, Stefania, took care of everything with great kindness and professionalism. The dining table was very elegant and had a beautiful centerpiece of fresh flowers, and the table for the favors and confetti was beautifully presented! Since the weather was a bit unpredictable over the past week, we spoke several times to decide how best to organize everything, and I must say, it turned out to be a wonderful festive lunch! All our relatives complimented us on the location, on the kind people who looked after us, and above all on the menu. The food was excellent, high-quality, and just the right amount! I'd like to extend a special thank you to Stefania, because at the end of the party, my very elderly aunt fell, and she promptly arrived with a first aid kit and ice pack to help us care for her as best we could (such support is not a given). In short, I highly recommend her for organizing a party or important event because it will surely be unforgettable! Thanks again for the wonderful party!

13/11/2025: We went on a Saturday night, and as expected, it was super crowded. The pizza was really good and tasty, and reasonably priced.

08/12/2025: Alessandro Sgamuffa and his staff have created a truly unique format that captures the identity of Nepi and the Tuscia region, connecting travelers with locals. The service format is particularly flexible (you can dine in for lunch or dinner, or even take advantage of the self-service option for a quick lunch break, or even pick up groceries and have traditional dishes delivered directly to your home, B&B, or vacation rental). All this while maintaining an excellent quality-to-price ratio. Proof that professionalism makes all the difference. Hats off!

26/11/2025: After spending 15 days in Italy and surrounding countries found an amazing place I'd like to recommend "La Cocande" and as a bonus... it's affordable. On our second to the last night, near our hotel, Our hotel suggested a family owned and run "very" authentic Italian restaurant for dinner. Of course being Americans we eat much earlier than Europeans so don't let the empty tables in my photos discourage since it was full before we left. During iur dinner tge restaurant filled up as well as a large amount of take aways. My wife had a calamari/shrimp dish and I had Salamobecca del Romana (see photos for each). Although I could not pronounce it the waiter was patient and I was several slices of veal, topped with products ham and sage pierced with a skewer and seared with a fabulous Virgin olive oil. I saw several other dishes served to other tables and each was an work of savory art. Thank you to the chef and staff for an unforgettable meal and memory.

30/11/2025: Everything was very pleasant!! Welcoming service, a very nice sidewalk atmosphere, and fast service! The coffee with milk at this place is incredibly delicious! Everything we ate was sensational. The highlight of the breakfast was the bread with a type of scrambled egg already inside, and a red fruit tart – everything was very good! I will cherish this breakfast in my memory!

01/11/2025: A small bar in the heart of Monteverde, Cafe Vert offers a wide selection of drinks and food. The table service is excellent, and the staff is friendly and helpful. The food is also excellent. I understand the need to expand, but the outdoor tables are a bit uncomfortable (since some are on a slope) and exposed to traffic. Finally, I find the prices excessively high.

16/11/2025: The fried food was delicious and the fish was fresh. The service was nonexistent, I had to call the waitress three times for a Coke. The dessert???? The chef's wife completely forgot about our table. You would have deserved 10 stars for the food, but I'm giving one star for the service. PS: This is a genuine review. I'm also attaching the receipt, so there's no misunderstanding.

22/12/2025: What can I say? Words aren't enough to describe the experience at this pizzeria. After a long time, I'm back to wrangle the mozzarella in the supplì, the arrosticini that melt in your mouth, and the pizza that's out of this world, perfect in every way. Oh, and I almost forgot, the best beans I've had in a while are the icing on the cake. All this, washed down with a delicious beer, transformed a business dinner into an unforgettable culinary experience. I'll definitely be back and highly recommend it to everyone. Kudos to the entire staff.

06/11/2025: Sometimes you just want to relax and enjoy a good meal. That’s exactly when the bonus from the website (shown in the photo) came in handy — I decided to stop by and try this pizza. Totally worth it! The crust was light, the sauce rich, and the cheese perfectly stretchy.
