La Taverna del Castello In Fiuggi

We returned to this restaurant again because we were pleasantly impressed the first time (for a quick escape from the chaos of Rome). My boyfriend and I can only confirm that first impression. From the location to the food, everything was fantastic, but what we especially want to highlight is Valerio's kindness, hospitality, and friendliness, which contributed significantly to making our dinner and evening even more enjoyable. With his dish recommendations and wonderful stories, he made us feel at home!! We'll be back soon because for us, La Taverna del Castello is a guarantee! Davide and Alessandra

I have to say that the food is not bad but not that special either but for what I ate the bill was steep.

What can I say? I wish I could give it 100 stars. Let's start with the location, which is superb, beautiful especially at sunset. Everything is thoughtful and original. The food is carefully crafted, delicious, authentic, beautiful to look at, and delicious to eat. The prices are absolutely fair. The service is impeccable. Valerio is a fantastic person, we had the pleasure of meeting him. He is professional and shows a care for his guests that is rare. We're not from Fiuggi, but we'll definitely be back. ♡

EVERYTHING WAS AMAZING! WE LOVED IT.

The food was excellent and the atmosphere was beautiful. As far as I'm concerned, the service left a bitter taste in my mouth. Unfortunately, last night I felt like I was treated like a tourist who passes by and never returns. Instead, I return to Fiuggi many times. I spent wonderful holidays as a child with my uncles. Yesterday they gave me table number 0, which is a table that if you're not tall, it's difficult to eat at. In fact, my partner had difficulty eating at it. If you see the height, you notice that the table is lower than the other tables. But let's leave this detail aside, the waiter, I think he was the tallest one who took our orders, was very indignant. In fact, he went to other tables to ask if everything was okay, if they wanted anything else, nothing at all. In the end, just one boy, but we wanted to have a dessert and we refused. We didn't feel like customers or guests, and I'm sorry about that. Customers should all be the same.

Spectacular restaurant, beautiful place, very clean, attention to every detail, impeccable staff and owner, I will return.
