A delightful and welcoming family-run place, the owners are very kind and always smiling. I spent June 21st, a wonderful day for my brother's birthday, bringing an actor waiter as a gift. We had a great time, and the owners were very accommodating for this surprise. The food was divine and impeccable, all made with the freshest seafood. The place was spotless, the dishes were delicious, and what can I say about the appetizers? Each one was better than the last. Highly recommended!!! I'm glad we stopped by. Very very tasty! One of the best meals we've had in Rome so far. Friendly staff and reasonably priced.

We were there last night...found online...a real gem on the Appia Nuova...a small place furnished with excellent taste...welcoming, kind and smiling waiting staff...the food is really good quality, the fish is very fresh, the mussel soup is excellent but the first courses don't disappoint either...unfortunately we were already full so we were sorry not to be able to try the second courses but we discovered that you can get half portions of the first course...so next time, fried food is guaranteed 😊. A note also for the bread basket...the focaccia is delicious.

Eating at Giarò is a wonderful experience: high-quality food, extremely kind and smiling staff, excellent value, and passion and customer service are always top priority. The chef/owner's rounds around the tables are also a must: he's incredibly friendly and truly skilled in the kitchen. The lady in the dining room is a paragon of kindness and professionalism, things that are truly rare these days. What can I say? A must-see in Rome for seafood.

Each time, it confirms our high expectations: the freshest fish, refined dishes crafted with attention to detail, with elegant yet authentic flavors. You can sense a great attention to quality and the selection of ingredients. The wine selection is also excellent, tastefully crafted, perfect for accompanying every course. The staff is always friendly, knowledgeable, and able to make you feel welcomed. The setting is refined and elegant, yet maintains a warm, family-like atmosphere that makes you want to return. The owners are helpful and extremely kind, always ready to make guests feel at ease. A special place, where you feel good and eat even better. Now a surefire favorite for every occasion.

I had dinner with friends, and you can immediately sense the passion of the people who run it: the owner is in the kitchen, while his wife takes care of the dining room. Two wonderful, genuine people who make you feel at ease and know how to advise you carefully. The dishes are truly excellent: simple but high-quality ingredients, expertly crafted. I tried the tuna tartare with a truly exceptional sauce. The raw anchovies with basil, the cod meatballs, and the raw fish were truly delicious. A place where you eat well and have a great time. I will definitely be back. I recommend it!
