A small, typical neighborhood restaurant, located right across from our hotel. Frequented by local Italians, it inspires confidence. The atmosphere is pleasant, but our table in the passageway wasn't very comfortable. To be fair, we hadn't booked in advance. The food: typical dishes, well-prepared and beautifully presented. Our two pasta dishes were very good. The traditional dessert was delicious: soft brioche, light whipped cream, and perfectly fresh strawberries. The service is efficient and courteous. Definitely worth a try!

Carbonara made with egg white and not enough egg, so white, not enough pecorino cheese, and burnt guanciale... long waiting times despite the restaurant not being full, errors in the delivery of the dishes and stressful waiters for the change of plates... total disappointment

The food is great, we tried nearly everything and I could recommend everything. Loved the tiramisu and the zucchini and the cod most. Nice waiters and comfortable atmosphere, clean and beautiful detailed furniture. I would give 7 stars if possible.

I came to Osteria Fratelli Mori with fairly high expectations... and I must say that, overall, they were met, albeit with a few nuances worth mentioning. As soon as I entered, I immediately got the feeling of a refined yet not cold place: an osteria, yes, but with a contemporary twist. The atmosphere is welcoming, warm, almost familiar, yet at the same time neat and well-thought-out. There's that balance between tradition and modernity that so many reviews emphasize, and it really shines here. I took my time and began browsing the menu, which focuses heavily on Roman cuisine. I ordered a few classic dishes, particularly intrigued by the carbonara and other pasta dishes that are often praised. And indeed, that's where the strong point lies: bold flavors, quality ingredients, and generous portions. It's a cuisine that stays true to tradition, but with a few small, more modern touches that aren't distracting—quite the opposite. One thing I really appreciated was the feeling of "real" cuisine, not touristy. It's clear there's a family history behind it, along with a certain attention to the finest ingredients, something many customers point out. The service, in my case, was kind and helpful, without being intrusive. Here, too, I found what you often read about: friendly staff who make you feel at ease. Sure, when the place fills up, there's a bit of a wait, but that's part of the pace of a place like this. If I had to find a small flaw, I'd say that not all the dishes impressed me equally: some are truly excellent, others simply good. But that's also the beauty of authentic osterias: they're not perfect, they're real. Ultimately, at Fratelli Mori I had a pleasant, sincere, and unforced dinner. It's one of those places you'll gladly return to, perhaps to try other dishes and rediscover that convivial atmosphere that, in Rome, when it's done well... you immediately notice.

Whenever I come to Rome, we make a must-try stop at this restaurant. The place is spacious and welcoming. I recommend the spaghettoni alla gricia or the classic tonnarelli cacio e pepe, delicious. Second course: saltimbocca alla romana, or better yet: Iberian pork cheek, melt-in-the-mouth. Dessert is top-notch. What more can I say?

And it's true, if it needed further mention, that the Ostiense Piramida area doesn't disappoint in terms of choice and quality. For me, it was my first experience with the owners, Alessandro and Francesco, the Mori brothers, during Easter. In my humble opinion, the restaurant stands out for its elegant, rustic style and is very spacious. I particularly appreciated the large open kitchen, but beyond that, I noticed that the place also has a dedicated area for bread making. The offerings are very interesting and reflect Roman tradition. The menu includes boiled meatballs, fried lamb and palato, Jewish-style artichokes, as well as traditional Roman first courses. I should point out that, as I mentioned previously, yesterday, since it was Easter, I opted for some off-menu Easter dishes, including the Easter appetizer consisting of corallina, cheesecake, battered artichokes, and frittata. Everything was delicious; I appreciated the very light and not greasy batter, and the crunchy artichoke was another thing I appreciated. For my first course, I chose an off-menu dish, yet one rooted in Roman tradition: gnocchi with artichoke and lamb ragù. The gnocchi were practically perfect in texture and cooking, and the ragù was just the right amount of flavor. I found a nice balance of flavors. I also really appreciated the mint, which pairs wonderfully with the artichoke. For dessert, we chose the Manfredi Colomba cake, and it was excellent. The price for two glasses of wine, water, an appetizer, a first course shared between two, and a Colomba cake was €65. I'll definitely be back soon to try some traditional Roman first courses. Highly recommended, their carbonara is excellent, I think I'm not exaggerating if I say that their carbonara is one of the best I've eaten in recent times, I found an excellent balance of flavor, between the carbonara cream (excellent for appearance, not invasive, in adequate proportions and above all an excellent balance with the savory flavor of the guanciale which is also of good quality, not too dry but not boiled either, recommended to try, as well as the oxtail alla genovese in bianco, a dish that on the palate for objective characteristics veers more towards the Neapolitan tradition than Roman, if I close my eyes I had the perception of eating a Genovese in full Campania style, an excellent Genovese I would have eaten two more dishes, excellent caramel cheesecake and artichoke alla giudia, crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside

Amazing! We went after the marathon, and it was completely packed. Just send the girls ahead to ask and they'll free up your table! The Romans are amazing! Everything was delicious. The carbonara was sublime, the artichokes were superb! The lamb was incredibly tender, and the dessert (the trio of mousses) was incredibly flavorful. And what can I say about the hospitality? The waiters were incredibly friendly, polite, and always ready with a joke!
