04/11/2025: In early October 2025, a family of four stayed in two rooms for three days and two nights. It was the last hotel of our ten-day itinerary. We stayed in four hotels, and while they were all generally decent, each had its own subtle drawbacks. For example, the nighttime reception was unfriendly, the water pressure was very weak, or there was a subtle smell. Let's start with the downside: the breakfast was the worst of the four. They didn't check if we were having breakfast in the morning, so we just went in. The space and table for breakfast were small, and the menu selection and taste were among the worst. Still, because it's Italy, the coffee and bread were at least basic. It's not completely uneatable; it's just that they were inferior to other places. By the way, if you have an early-morning tour, you can tell them the day before that you won't be eating breakfast and ask them to prepare a lunch box. They'll prepare it for you around 9 p.m. the night before. You can pick it up at the reception. The menu itself is... well, it's just enough to fill your stomach. Aside from that, everything else is good. The reception was excellent and friendly, and they even provided towels upon request. The hot water was plentiful, the water pressure was good, and the heating worked well. Other hotels felt a bit chilly, but this one was warm. The location was also fantastic, just a minute from Termini Station. There's a pharmacy right next door, and it's a bustling area, so there are no security concerns whatsoever. There was a Rome City Tour Bus leaflet at the reception. I asked what it was, and they kindly explained it to me. Thanks to this, I was able to comfortably see Rome at night, a sight I'd practically given up on seeing with my kids. If you book in advance and arrive at a designated location at Termini Station at night, you can catch the bus, so don't miss it!

01/11/2025: Reasonably priced hotel close to train station and transport hub which was a bonus. Our room was clean but the en- suite was tiny. We were on the second floor and street noise was a bit annoying. Breakfast was pleasant enough with plenty of choice, although there wasn't much hot food if that's your preference. Staff were friendly and service was good

15/09/2025: A restaurant that has achieved fame in the area: traditional, homemade first courses, and grilled main courses only. Everything is delicious, and the quality of the meat is excellent. In short, everything they say is true, and it's worth a visit. Well done!

12/09/2025: A truly top restaurant where the family runs the restaurant and grandpa grills the meat over a wood fire, fantastic!!

18/11/2025: The best prices and very good coffee and pastry but I didn't like we couldn't sit at the table, only at the bar chairs as it was said that sitting at the table is only for the customers that order meals as well.

15/11/2025: This is a small, very natural Rome caffe. Extremely good value for money, the caffe is unpretentious in its slightly eccentric fading Gothic theme, but the coffee is great. The staff are very friendly and welcoming. They have a strong local clientele but are also understanding of foreign visitors. We had coffee here on three of the four mornings we stayed nearby and already by our second visit the lady owner remembered our order on our last visit. The croissants and pastries were good too. Places like this are to be treasured in the midst of the world stampede towards tourist-orientated offerings. Go there.

02/11/2025: A stylish restaurant away from the usual tourist spots. Very attentive waiters. The appetizers were excellent, and for our main course we had Menu 3 (all-you-can-eat beef). The first course featured three different types of meat, sliced ​​into strips and grilled to a perfect medium. The second course offered a selection of meats, including salsiccia. Truly outstanding.

20/11/2025: First time at this restaurant... I'm sorry I didn't discover it sooner!!! Excellent food, beautiful, very characteristic location in a wing of the castle, very kind owners! I'll definitely be back.

16/11/2025: A restaurant right in the center of Vignanello's main square. Unique... located on the first floor (there's also an elevator). We had tortelloni with porcini mushrooms, suckling pig with chestnuts, and scallops with mushrooms, all very good. Quiet atmosphere.

18/10/2025: I frequented it several times, both pre- and post-COVID. It seems to be recovering now, but it used to be better. The menu has been expanded, from pizza only to some Roman dishes. The aperitif glass of white wine is no longer available. The staff is friendly and attentive, although there were a few delays the last time, but nothing major. The pizza is good, as is the quality of the fried foods. Prices are reasonable. Parking is difficult.

12/10/2025: Near Villa Pia and many other hospitals in the Monteverde and Trastevere area. Off the daily menu (TODAY PASTA AND FACIOLI!!) Lunch and dinner 10 euros. Authentic Roman neighborhood osteria and pizzeria!!!

09/11/2025: A pleasant restaurant near the Piazza di Spagna. The waiters are very friendly and speak French. They offered a complimentary limoncello as a digestif at the end. We went back the next day... We had dinner one evening in mid-November on the terrace with heated patio heaters (in Italy, that's still allowed; they know how to live in that country!).

08/11/2025: The best food in Rome and a very warm and friendly atmosphere. You can't leave Rome without eating at Osteria Della Vite.

29/08/2025: What an amazing surprise! Been here some time ago and loved each bit. The mix of cocktail and food is terrific, and the possibility of having smaller cocktails to try with each plate is such a good idea. Needless to say, everything was amazing and the service was super.

15/08/2025: Finally, a unique place in Grottaferrata! Great food research, tasty dishes, and the option to pair cocktails with your chosen menu! The owners are super friendly and professional, and the waitress is also very knowledgeable!

31/10/2025: Incredible pastries, always delicious. The Montblanc single-servings are addictive. Highly recommended.

07/10/2025: I ordered a cake with cocoa sponge cake and Italian Chantilly cream filling (pastry cream and cream). But it seems to me that you went your own way. The cake was aesthetically beautiful, but it wasn't sponge cake, but a thin cocoa layer filled with just cream and a cream filling (a mass of just cream). I don't think I'm the first to complain about this. I wasn't at all satisfied.

16/09/2025: Finally found a healthier breakfast option in Rome! This place is in Prati, which is where we stayed, so it was a short walk for us. My husband got avocado and hummus toast and I got a bowl with smoked salmon. Both were fresh and delicious. We also got lattes with coconut and almond milk. Coming from the US, our alternative milk options have no flavor, they taste like water. So these coffees here were a huge surprise to us, as the coconut and almond milks actually tasted like coconut and almonds! I think there was only 1 person working there, so there was a bit of a wait. But she was very pleasant. We only saw 3 small tables outside, so it’s not really a good option for a bigger group, I think. Otherwise, a great find! We’ll be back!
