14/03/2026: The ambiance, with its relaxed atmosphere perfect for conversation, was lovely. The food was excellent, and our waiter was fantastic. We went there on our first evening in Rome, and it certainly won't be our last. We'd love to come back!
12/03/2026: My wife and I went there twice while in Rome. Normally we like to try different places every night but we loved it so much we had to go back again. They had a great mushroom pasta special, and excellent wine. The food was locally sourced and out of this world. Despite being so close to the Colosseum it wasn’t one of those more touristy restaurants. Our server, who was the owner gave us prosecco the second night. He was an amazing gentleman. There are lots of good places to eat in Rome and Italy as a whole, but this was and continues to be one of our favorite. If you don’t know, you don’t have to tip in Italy. We still tipped these guys, it was so awesome.

06/03/2026: My partner took me here last night for my birthday. It was a wonderful experience! Excellent food, generous portions, and exceptional quality ingredients.
The service is very welcoming, enthusiastic, and friendly. The atmosphere is intimate and warm. I can't wait to go back and try the rest of the menu!

Prepared and filling dishes made with extremely fresh ingredients, interesting and tasty reinterpretations, and the staff was friendly and attentive to our needs.
Clean atmosphere and fair prices.
The place was recommended to us by the ladies at TusciAlpaca.

27/01/2026: Today I went to Caprasecca al Mare for lunch with my husband and son, following a friend's recommendation. What can I say? Delicious! The mixed seafood appetizer was special, especially the hot portion, and I loved the citrus-marinated anchovies, which I usually avoid because they're full of vinegar. The gnocchi with scampi cream were excellent. The waiters were truly friendly, attentive, and helpful. Beautiful, well-kept place. The price was more than fair. We'll be back.

21/02/2026: Nothing special, nothing special. Obviously, we're in the center of Ariccia, so the prices are super affordable. The appetizer platter, ordered for one person and shared between two, was more than sufficient.
The first courses could use a bit of a makeover; the Carbonara was a bit bland, as was the Gricia.
The service was top-notch; the lady who served us was super kind!
14/02/2026: An excellent experience. All the dishes deserve top stars! Excellent carbonara, exceptional porchetta, sublime tripe, perfect puntarelle, and delicious artichokes. The real difference was made by Alessia, who welcomed and pampered us from the start, recommending the dishes. Kind, courteous, smiling, knowledgeable, and truly professional! Thank you so much.

02/03/2026: -: Paper plates instead of porcelain (why?), questionable interior design choices, hardly mediocre pizza and weird combos (you can also order pineapple on pizza!), tomatoes on my caprese were straight out of the fridge, hit and miss tap beer experience

26/02/2026: I'm thrilled and definitely think this is the best spot in all of Italy. Great staff, delicious food, and the drinks were fantastic! It was so relaxed and cozy, and so much fun. I would definitely come back!! :)

The staff were really friendly and the food was excellent. We mainly tried the pasta and the Spritz.
The atmosphere was perfect for a slightly festive evening.

23/03/2026: I ate well and most importantly, I didn't feel bloated. It digested well and the gnocchi were delicious, just like my grandmother used to make. Recommended.
21/03/2026: We stumbled upon it by chance. The food is simple but excellent, the owners are extremely friendly, and the dining room is quiet, with no music or noise, allowing for conversation. The atmosphere is familiar and welcoming.

21/02/2026: We stopped in for lunch and were greeted by a very nice, kind waitress. Because we had a child (6 years old) with us, she helped us choose dishes and gave us some chocolate as a parting gift. The atmosphere was very pleasant.
We also had lasagna, fish, and pasta, and everything was delicious.

13/03/2026: After a few years, we returned with our family to this place that was a favorite for us. Total disappointment, interminable wait, even for the kids, and sloppy service. The same dish, poor and without garnish, was served at a different table next door. I asked for bread, and they told me it was out shortly afterward. They brought it to another table. Spaghetti with clams served with lupini beans. The bill was steep, and the food was bland by their old standards. I'm sorry, but business can't be like this. I've lost a trusted place to go.
