11/10/2025: So-so food: excellent porcini mushroom tagliatelle, amatriciana with charred bacon. The cod was good, but the fried anchovies weren't. They had too strong a flavor, and I was wrong not to send them back (they were probably frozen). Terrible service, with dishes arriving in fits and starts. The grape sorbet was excellent. The place was crowded and very noisy. But it was Saturday night... If everything had been good, the bill would have been fair. I'll give it another chance, obviously during the week, and I'll be happy to change my review.

08/09/2025: A great place! It starts with the fact that this restaurant is open on Mondays 👍. Then there's this beautiful location. And overall, the restaurant is decorated with great attention to detail. The service is super friendly and helpful. And then there's the food! So fresh! So well-balanced! And there are plenty of vegetarian options 🥰. We had a wonderful time and love the restaurant!

23/10/2025: First time here, invited out of curiosity, and I have to say... IT DESERVES ALL 5 STARS! The meat is top-quality; you can see the Australian Wagyu in the photo. The cheese platter was excellent, and the arrosticini... well, it really felt like I was in Abruzzo! I recommend everyone try this place at least once. It's truly worth it. I personally appreciated the plating on the platter and the sachet of honey (which not everyone brings). The homemade desserts are also worth trying. Below, under "How much you spent," calculate at least €10-15 less. I'm a big eater ;)

04/11/2025: Excellent cuisine and professional, attentive staff who speak several languages. Fresh and delicious products (only seafood, so the kids won't be happy!). Pleasant setting, white and blue terrace reminiscent of Greece. Excellent value for money. Gusto del Mare!

28/10/2025: I had a wonderful calamari dish, amazing and very generous! The spaghetti with clams was also very good. I also really appreciated the waitress's hospitality and the value for money. With a 20% discount, the price was fantastic! If I may offer just one constructive and easily resolvable piece of advice... it's really hot in the dining room. Perhaps it would have been better to sit outside now that the days are still gorgeous, or somewhere with a little more ventilation. 🤗 Excellent experience. I hope to return soon because the calamari was superb. October 2025, midweek family lunch

16/10/2025: It's nice to feel like you're in the real Rome, and I really appreciate having a view of the kitchen, a sign of quality.

18/09/2025: The atmosphere was worth the experience. The amatriciana was excellent, the staff was friendly! The bread was delicious—for the first time I'd had such delicious bread outside of Puglia! The prices were more than fair! A first course, water, coffee, and cover charge were €13.50! I stopped there for lunch; there were lots of regulars.

02/10/2025: I had made a reservation for lunch with my daughters, but due to the "extreme" difficulty finding parking, we arrived late. We were told our table had been reassigned, and they didn't even invite us in while they waited for another table to become available. Basically: they kicked us out!?!

22/10/2025: After a long walk through the historic district, we were absolutely starving. A local friend recommended this place, and it did not disappoint! The food and wine were both excellent—authentic, delicious Roman cuisine that truly hit the spot

19/10/2025: Amazing food and wine corner ! I am very much into wine and of course there needs to be decent food too. At Colombo I found both at very reasonable prices. A massive selection of Italian wines, plus a considerable amount of non Italian wines, which isn’t common practice here. Pino knows his wines and will guide you without any frills. Go and check him out.

09/10/2025: I occasionally provide professional massage services at Il Postiglione. The rooms have classic furnishings, in keeping with the style of the entire hotel. The archaeological area within the hotel grounds is noteworthy, where you can admire a stretch of an ancient Roman road along the ancient Via Cassia. The pool and its deck create a very pleasant and welcoming outdoor setting, especially for events with large numbers of guests/participants.

The originality of the dishes inspires us to try ever-changing menus; the dishes, meticulously crafted and presented, are the result of meticulous dedication to blending the ingredients to create a harmonious and unforgettable dish. The understated and tranquil setting provides a soothing backdrop for the entire dinner. My sincere compliments for the care and passion you put into every dish. The wine cellar is also interesting, including some natural wines produced by the owner.

24/08/2025: Yesterday we had the pleasure of dining at a truly welcoming hosteria with extraordinary food. The appetizer was one of the best I've tasted in recent memory, so rich and carefully prepared. The first and second courses were also excellent. One detail we really appreciated was the attentiveness of the staff: the pasta we ordered was immediately divided into two separate portions, a truly courteous gesture. The entire staff was attentive, kind, and helpful. We will definitely be back again; it was a wonderful experience! ♥️😋👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
